Day trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and a Epic Fail in the Mountains

I go on a day trip to explore Santa Fe, New Mexico by foot. We visit the historic plaza, the Loretto Chapel and it's miraculous staircase, the St. Francis Cathedral, Artsy Canyon Road, and the oldest house in the United States. Then I get lost in the mountains looking for the Tent Rocks, and the road was closed.
We tow a 2015 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1706FB travel trailer. You are more than welcome to tag along in our travels by subscribing to this channel.

Santa Fe, New Mexico’s capital, sits in the Sangre de Cristo foothills. It’s renowned for its Pueblo-style architecture and as a creative arts hotbed. Founded as a Spanish colony in 1610, it has at its heart the traditional Plaza. The surrounding historic district’s crooked streets wind past adobe landmarks including the Palace of the Governors, now home to the New Mexico History Museum

Hot Springs, Kayaking, Slot Canyons, & Badlands NEW MEXICO Travel Vlog

We have camped in New Mexico for over a month now. We planned to breeze through the land of enchantment but quickly learned that there are WAY TOO MANY awesome sights and adventures to be had in this area. Fortunately, this life on the road allows for lots of flexibility and we can stay for essentially as long as we want to explore our surroundings!

We went to our first natural hot springs which was clothing optional and felt like a dream! We kayaked in our inflatable kayak for the first time and sucked at it but had a blast. We hiked through slot canyons and above the unique tent rocks of Kasha Katuwe. Zac tent-camped and shot the milky way in the dark sky of the badlands. New Mexico has been absolutely unreal and is a new favorite travel destination for us!
