Bald and Bankrupt is always showing Eastern Europe, but in this video I bring you to the abandoned ghost villages of Western Europe - this time in Northern Spain. It's hard to believe there are places like this in Western Europe (Asturias Spain) in 2022.. Whilst on the Camino de Santiago I discovered several desolate and empty ghost towns/villages where some people still inhabit the villages.

Puentedey in northern Spain was named the most beautiful village in Spain in 2022. One reason is its 15-meter-high natural stone arch, carved by the Nela River and nicknamed God’s Bridge.

This time we are sharing with you our 2-week Northern Spain road trip and our third destination is the most beautiful village in the Cantabria region: Santillana del Mar. In this vlog we stay in a traditional house that was turned into a very pretty and cozy hotel, we walk around the narrow streets with lots of flowers and tiny shops, eat at a small, hidden restaurant that had amazing food and try the delicious & sweet local pastries of Cantabria!

We are a Spanish&Turkish couple who travels to a lot of different locations in Spain and love sharing our experiences as well as some useful information and local tips on accommodation, tourist attractions and most importantly, what to eat & where to eat!
In this vlog we are sharing with you our fifth day on the road during which we visited three amazing destinations: Covadonga, Cudillero and Playa de las Catedrales.
???? In Covadonga, we first take you to see the natural beauties of Covadonga from a bird's eye view. Then, we visit the tiniest sanctuary carved on the side of a mountain with the most spectacular & calming view. Afterwards, we visit the astonishing Basilica of Saint Mary, with the statue of the national hero, Don Pelayo.
???? In Cudillero, we see the most colorful town in Northern Spain that we have ever seen, enjoy some local delicacies and shop!
???? In Playa de las Catedrales, we are in the awe-inspiring Beach of the Cathedrals or Beach of the Holy Waters with its naturally formed arches and secret caves. A truly unforgettable place.
???? Finally, we finish our tour in La Coruña (or A Coruña) with a nice lunch and a walk around the Tower of Hercules with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean!
???? We also give you tips on where and what to eat, what is menu del dia and why you should look for it and a lot of information on local delicacies. Yum!

Tiny Tour | Mutriku Spain | An 800 year old fishing town in northern Spain 2019 Autumn
Hi guys, today we’re here in Mutriku (Motrico). it is a town located in the province Gipuzkoa in the Autonomous Community of Basque Country, northern Spain. It has a population of around 5000 and provides access to the Bay of Biscay. The Church of San Andrés can be found here, being one of the oldest churches in Gipuzkoa, dating to the year 1080.

EXPLORING MEDIEVAL SPAIN! Vanlife in LA RIOJA Northern Spain!
Hello Again Everyone!
This video joins us as we have a great ew days exploring the medieval towns of northern Spain's La Rioja region. We weren't expecting much from this area but we ended up having a brilliant time exploring castles, ruins and medieval towns such as Frías which was an absolute gem! Some of the park ups you can find in Spain are just next level, it is definitely vanlife on easy mode!
At the very end of this video we cross into France for a 3 week autumnal french road trip which we are very excited for!
