Puerto Rico During COVID Pandemic; Waterfall Jumping, Bat Caves, Ancient Carvings, Road Trip
Traveling through the pandemic can be safe and not worrisome if you do it right. We stayed outside of San Juan to limit our exposure to high tourist areas. All of the sights we went to were almost exclusively for us. We had to get a Covid Test in order to get into the island which was reassuring that they do have some measures in place. Also, they have a mandatory 10pm curfew in place so pretty much the island shuts down before that.

Welcome to the final episode of our boat life adventure series sailing around Puerto Rico. We set sail for the first time and began the 24 hour sail along the D.R.'s Coast, then head across the infamous Mona Passage at night, bound for Puerto Rico. From there we sailed and explored Puerto Rico from a mono haul. Want to know what it is like to fly during the pandemic. In this episode we try and fly home from San Juan Airport, Puerto Rico to Schiphol The Netherlands before lockdown as we are in the middle of a pandemic. Decided to escape to Puerto Rico (home) to visit some family and to explore some areas I haven't been to before.
This video is mostly travel and arrival. I met up with my cousin Yanira who took me to some nice areas around the northern coast.

- Before visiting Puerto Rico, make sure you get familiar with the most current laws, rules and requirement.
- You must visit the site below and fill out all required information:
- Just like anywhere in the US, make sure you have and use a mask while traveling and while in public.
- Puerto Rico also enforces masks and safe distance (6 feet apart) requirements.
- Puerto Rico currently has a curfew

Traveling to Puerto Rico during Covid-19 || Visiting Cataño Puerto Rico 2020
Traveling to Puerto Rico during the Covid-19 pandemic? In this video I will show you Cataño, Puerto Rico. I visited El Malecon the Catano located in the North Easter part of Puerto Rico. It is a beautiful place with an amazing waterfront and it makes for an ideal spot for vacation in Puerto Rico. It's location is a short drive from San Juan Puerto Rico. If you are traveling with kids there is a park in the area and there is also a few restaurants near by. I hope that you guys enjoy this video!
** Be aware that this video was shot during the month of June and there are now restrictions before entering the island including providing evidence of a negative molecule test taken no more than 72 hours before entering the island.

Flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) | Travel during COVID Pandemic Summer 2020
*** Announced on June 30, 2020, starting July 15, 2020 all passengers to Puerto Rico will need to have proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival, (performed within last 72 hours) or you will be required to quarantine for 14 days.
What is it like flying into San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) airport during the pandemic?
Here is my return flight to San Juan via Miami and Phoenix arriving on June 25, 2020.
Process and protocols are changing so be sure to double check with your airline for details. Currently there are limited domestic flights to San Juan. American Airlines and JetBlue had the most flight options, SouthWest and United had limited options. I could not find any flights to SJU on Delta, but flights are in constant flux for the entire summer of 2020.
Upon arrival to San Juan, Puerto Rico there are optional COVID-19 antibody blood tests available for passengers before baggage claim. There is no mandatory quarantine, but the blood test is strongly recommended. Results from the finger prick blood test are provided within 10 minutes and it is fast, easy, and free!
After baggage claim, each passenger is requested to provide flight information and contact details before existing the aiport. Masks are required everywhere in the SJU airport and public spaces around the island.

Traveling to San Juan Puerto Rico during the Covid-19 was risky. Not everyone in the airport followed the 6 feet distancing rule. I took measures to be safe while traveling through the airport and it was somewhat stressful and challenging but I thank God that I was able to arrive there safely.
There are more restrictions now when traveling to Puerto Rico and Covid-19 test as well as a declaration form is needed when entering the island. There is also a curfew in place on the island. To fully be able to enjoy Puerto Rico I recommend visiting after the pandemic is over. I hope you all enjoy this video from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

We got married on February 29, 2020, and then the world shutdown due to the pandemic. Our honeymoon was postponed, so we waited until late October 2020. We flew to Puerto Rico and stayed in an Airbnb in San Juan. There were a lot of attractions and areas closed due to the global situation, but island was still fun to explore! Check out a collection of the places and things we were able to capture on this amazing vacation!

Visiting Puerto Rico during a pandemic was interesting. There was not much to do, however, there was still so much to see!! During my time at Puerto Rico, I met amazing people like Gilberto, Daniel, Marisela, Lembra and Luis.
I have fallen in love with the ambience, people and culture.
Puerto Rico is by far my favorite country I have visit!
