Exeter Garden Railway Show 26th October 2019 (Part 1) Run By The South Devon Garden Railway Group

This years Exeter Garden Railway Show was held on Saturday 26th October as usual at the Matford Centre. It is a great venue which can be reached by car or public transport from the centre of Exeter. Normally I would catch a train to Central Station and then the bus but because the West Of England line was blocked by engineering works the best option was the car. As usual it was a great show with plenty of traders and exhibitors. Thanks must go to the South Devon Garden Railway Group.
I took my iPhone 11 along to capture the show and have spilt my video into two parts, the second part should be finished by the middle of the week.

Exeter Garden Railway Show Saturday 29th October 2016-Part 2

As promised here is part 2 of the video taken at the Exeter Garden Railway Show 2016. The entire video was captured on a Sony RX10 Mk3 camera and then edited in iMovie.
I am sorry for a bit of camera shake that crept in, before Exeter I used the camera on a tripod and had turned off the steady shot system. It does prove that the Sony is very good on video as some of the footage was taken at near 600mm. The sound was recorded on the internal mics, so it captured a lot of the surrounding noise, of which there was plenty.

I spent a very enjoyable day at the Exeter Garden Railway Show which was held in the Matford Centre.. This annual show is always well worth going to especially if you live in the South West. Many thanks to the South Devon Garden Railway Group for planning and hosting the superb show and of course to all the exhibitors and traders. I have decided to split my video record into 3 or 4 parts due to the amount of material that I came away with.
In the first Part the following exhibitors are included:-

Sorry for the date error on the first part of the video, October not December!!!!!!!!

Mamod Boulton (UPDATE) Partial Re-Paint And Detailing Running With The Breakdown Train On The CHR

Since purchasing the Mamod Boulton at the Exeter Garden Railway Show in October it has been to the paint shopped has had some extra detail added. The handrails have been painted in satin black along with the metal eject clip on the cab back. The coupling rods are now a satin red instead of the out of box silver. I have added added a set of steps, springs, air filter and double horn all purchased from SLR Models and all painted satin black. There is now a driver along with front cab windows made from perspex. To finish this all off I have added name and number plates. The video was taken on the Coombe Hill Railway in Somerset (CHR).
