The core spontaneously generates energy internally which is why it does not collapse.
Also you left out the most important part of my theory, the solar outburst or nova. The superwave only triggers the event. Most of the damage is done by the Sun.
The superwave pushes dust into the solar system, which in turn aggravates the Sun, which in turn flares periodically to cause such disasters. There are many other energy effects, spectrum changes, etc. involved as well, all of which are explained in my books.'

Pyramids of Egypt: Evidence for Cataclysmic Event?????
One thing we noticed around the Bent Pyramid of Dahshur and also at the Giza Plateau, are these brown stones that look like they have been created with great heat, almost like Lava Stones.
At the Bent Pyramid, these stones only occur around the direct surroundings of the pyramid (at an approximate radius of 200m)
What happened here?
Is it possible that we are looking at the remains of a cataclysmic event or maybe the younger dryas?
Or is it possible that the pyramid itself was emitting energy that caused the formation of these stones?
