Rogers: the Musical at Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort FIRST PUBLIC SHOWING EVER shot in 4K 60FPS! Rogers the Musical is a Broadway style show that takes guests on an adventure through Captain Americas story, from his bumble beginnings to his triumphant end! Rogers the Musical features multiple Marvel Characters like Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man and many more! Along with original soundtrack and great performances, it’s a show that’s hard to miss! Rogers the Musical is a limited time show that plays in Holltwoodland at Disney California Adventure park. While it is possible to standby to watch the show, it is recommended to use the virtual line or purchase the vip experience to guarantee a seat. We used the virtual queue on our showing.

It was January of 2008 and Disney was in the midst of their Year of a Million Dreams marketing campaign. As the name of the campaign implies, it involved giving away one million dreams (or prizes) over the course of a year. One of them, done in partnership with CareerBuilder was earning the role of CMO, or Chief Magic Official.

It was a position, described by Disney, as an ambassador of dreams. The lucky winner of the role would spend the year traveling between Walt Disney World and Disneyland to attend special events. And while the position was obviously not an actual executive role it was actually a paid job. Aside from free airfare, lodging, park tickets, and spending money, the CMO would be compensated on an hourly basis whenever they were sent to one of the parks for an appearance, though the pay wasn’t made public. They were essentially going to be the paid face of the second half of the #YearOfAMillionDreams campaign.
