Australia's Greatest Islands - Go Wild

Australia's Greatest Islands takes a very close swim with manta rays and whales, tracks endangered seals and kangaroos and watches birds that fly backwards in one great film about some of Australia’s greatest islands. Four of Australia’s 20 thousand islands have been selected for this one hour special, all with an abundance of wildlife.

On the southern-most tip of the greatest coral reef in the world, the Great Barrier Reef, the remarkable coral cay of Lady Eliot Island is home to big colonies of sea birds, manta rays, turtles and humpback whales. The star of Kangaroo Island is a sub-species of kangaroos, as well as koalas in plague proportions and endangered sea lions. Sanctuaries like idyllic Lord Howe Island feature with its plentiful colonies of birds, such as the endemic endangered Lord Howe Island Wood- hen, and the Red-tailed Tropicbird, with its fancy courting rituals. Finally, there’s the extremes of the sub-Antarctic on Macquarie Island, with huge colonies of colourful king penguins and enormous elephant seals.

As animals fight to survive in these paradises, so do plants. From tropical beaches to sub-zero temperatures, Australia’s Greatest Islands guides viewers through the abundance of wildlife while
exploring how the unique wildlife survives.

Secrets of the Sacred Lake | Full Documentay | TRACKS

In an almost untouched corner of North East Asia, 3200 metres above sea level on the Tibetan plateau, lies the largest lake in China; Qinghai Hu - also known in Tibetan and Mongolian language as The Blue Lake.
The lake is in particular sacred to the Tibetans inhabiting these remote altitudes, and they see it as their religious call to protect the local environment.
In the first episode of the series Lakes on the Roof of the World,
we travel to hidden islands, where foreigners reportedly never set foot before. We meet the Tibetan nomads, whose traditional lifestyle is challenged by the Chinese government; the Buddhist nuns of the secluded Lotus Monastery; and a 'Dragon's head lute' player passing on his ancient musical heritage.

America's Stonehenge: Behind The Mystery (Full Documentary) | TRACKS

There is no shortage of theories exploring how these monoliths were constructed- from the Creator-god to aliens and giants. This programme chronicles University of Pennsylvania researcher Alexei Vranich's expedition to prove his theory of how the American Stonehenge was created: that the stones were transported across Lake Titicaca on gigantic totora reed boats and then laboriously dragged another 10 kilometers to the city.

To pull off this feat, Alexei enlists the help of Paul Harmon, a world-class sailor and adventurer. Follow their perilous mission from beginning to end – from the initial enthusiasm to the roadblocks thrown in their path, from the joy of their immersion deep into Bolivian culture to the challenging road to their ultimate success.

Our Honeymoon Adventure

Phillippa and I got married on the 10th of October 2015. A few weeks later we set-off on a six week adventure for our Honeymoon. To start our trip we returned to one of our favourite cities, Hong Kong. After a week there we headed to Western Australia, where our adventure began properly.

We road-tripped down the Western Coast: snorkelling with turtles and reef sharks, off-roading, camping outback and canoeing.

Christmas Day started with a 4am trip to The Pinnacles and we saw in the New Year among friendly strangers in Margaret River.

After our Western Coast road trip, we made our second visit to Adelaide and caught up with friends and family. We had a laid back end to our adventure in South Australia, before heading home with another quick stop in Hong Kong.

We met some amazing people, saw things we couldn’t have imagined, ate great food and drank fantastic wine! This video is a small glimpse of our adventure and we can't wait to go back one day!

Fill your life with small adventures!

Nullarbor Road Trip, WA to SA

Travelling the Eyre Highway and the Nullarbor Plain, definitely not Nullaboring!

Antarctica 2016 - Part 10 : Inexpressible Island to Macquarie Island

Making the most of the superb weather, we made a short trip southwards from the German Gondwana base, to Inexpressible Island, where Captain Scott's Northern Party spent an unbelievable 205 days in a small ice cave they had dug to sit out the winter. This was to be some of the most exquisite scenery we experienced on our entire trip.

From Inexpressible Island we started the long journey back to New Zealand, hoping to get our landing at Macquarie Island that we had to bypass on our way heading south approximately two weeks prior.

Rinuncia a Magellano

Journey to the Edge of the World

In May of 2017, we set out on a journey. Three friends, one van, over 4000km through Chilean and Argentinian mountains, and a few road bumps along the way. This is not only the story of our Patagonian adventure but of something more. It embodies the message we are constantly reminding ourselves of, to never forget the moment we are all chasing.
