The experience of gorillas habituation in Kahuzi Biega National Park
In the 1970s, Kahuzi-Biega Park pioneered the habituation of gorillas to human presence. This is how some groups of these primates are used to humans. However, there were difficulties when the first non-African tourists came because these animals did not recognize people of other races. The use of masks by rangers has solved this problem. We can approach the gorillas without inciting the can for them.
