Before leaving for Rome, we couldn't leave without dining at one of the most legendary eateries in Florence, Trattoria Mario! They are an institution in the Florentine culinary scene and what better way to end our visit the birthplace of the Renaissance than with some Tuscan classics such as Ribolitta, Trippa alla Fiorentina and of course a giant Bistecca alla Fiorentina!

First Time in Florence, Italy ???????? Exploring Tuscany, World's Best Restaurant Osteria Francescana 2023
Ciao! Everything there is to see, eat and do in Florence, Italy in 2023. Join us as we try local Florentine street food such as lampredotto for the first time, line up for one of the cit's best paninis, and discover a homey, family-run seafood restaurant. We shop for souvenirs at the medieval Ponte Vecchio, drop by a few weekend flea markets and, of course, round it out with some vintage shopping and sightseeing.
The highlight of our trip to Florence is a drive to the city of Modena, were have the privilege of having lunch at one of the world's best restaurants, the three-Michelin-Star, Osteria Francescana. Most amazingly, we get to meet (and take a selfie with) its brilliant chef, Massimo Bottura!
Along the way, we also drive through notable Tuscan towns like Siena, Cascia, Pienza and Assisi.
Truly an Italian trip to remember.
