Sanrio Puroland in Tokyo, Japan is a Hello Kitty theme park featuring ALL your favorite Sanrio characters. Tama-Center, the city of Hello Kitty, is about 30 minutes by train from Shinjuku. This Hello Kitty Land features shows, rides, shops, and so much cute food! While I thought this was mainly for kids, there was quite an array of people of ages visiting! It's seriously so kawaii. Hello Kitty Land Tokyo will start to reopen this month to entry pass holders and then to the public. Go meet all of your favorite characters like My Melody, Cinnamonroll, Gudetama and more!
The lines for the rides were quite long but my favorite part was the Sanrio gift shop LOL. It was like a massive Disneyland-style gift shop and took me back to the days I use to shop at Morning Glory for gifts and stationeries. I honestly had a lot of fun and it was a blast to the sweet times when I was obsessed with Hello Kitty heheh.

Today we're eating cute food: Hello Kitty Dim Sum! Located in Hong Kong, everything in this restaurant has Hello Kitty's face on it. Stay long enough and she'll mark her territory on you, too. We begin the meal with Hello Kitty sausage rolls that look like spiral light bulbs. Then we segue into the Hello Kitty Birthday Bun, which has three mini buns hidden underneath. That's not all! We take a stroll around the Tsim Sha Tsui neighborhood and eat two more round of dim sum. Watch to see the food adventure unfold :)

Ready or not, we're eating inside a prison cell tonight! Specifically a medical prison. Japan is famous for its themed restaurants and we couldn't leave without trying one. We head to Dogenzaka in Tokyo and get spooked. Little did we know it'd feel like Halloween all over again.
From livers to brains, we order it all. Note: The liver is actually a red omelette and the brain is beef stuffed with a salad. And wait... is that strawberry jelly on a REAL pad?! Watch the video to get freaked out with us!
