Falling Asleep On Chiang Khan's Walking Street | Loei Thailand ????????
We arrived in beautiful Chiang Khan in the province of Loei. Yes we finally made it to Isan the northeast region of Thailand that receives the least tourists!
We couldn't wait to explore however we were absolutely knackered after a very long 24+ hours travel day from Lampang with no sleep atall.
Despite this we headed out to the famous chiang Khan Walking Street night market for some cheap Thai Street food and to just check things out!
Grabbed a laos style baguette which was delicious before getting some traditional Isan style grilled sticky rice and sausage to eat with fresh chilli's and ginger delicious!
We started to head down the walking street which was extremely busy but the atmosphere was great, we got some fresh whole grilled baby prawns on a stick aswell as some coconut worms which were interesting.
Leesh got a coco chocolate drink which we keep seeing here in Thailand and I got some strange needle mushrooms wrapped in chicken and grilled over charcoal.
We then had some free local coconut sweet samples that they make here in Chiang Khan before getting some sundried fried pork.
We got some more tasty sausage before escaping the madness and finding somewhere to hide away from the huge crowds.
Here at the chiang Khan Walking Street we also met some amazing subscribers, If you see us don't forget to say hi we love to chat.
Then we finished the night back at our guesthouse with a massive mango sticky rice for only 50 THB.
We can't wait to explore chiang Khan and more of the Loei province, but first it's safe to say we need to catch up on sleep!

ข้าวปุ้นนำ้แจ่วใค๋ไม่เคยลองต้องลอง แวะซื้อมะพร้าวอ่อนแก้ว นั่งชิลล์ริมแก่งคุดคู้ กินกุ้งเต้นสดๆ พร้อมตำด่องแด่งตกเย็นเดินถนนคนเดิน กินกุ้งปิ้ง ข้าวจี่ไข่ ร้านจิ๊กโก๋ยัดไส้ ร้านปาท่องโก๋ ร้านเด็ด

วันที่0..... เราเดินทางด้วยรถทัวร์ vip ของ บขส999 (รีวิว.... ) สามารถซื้อตั๋วที่เคาร์เตอร์หมอชิต ชั้น3 หรือจองผ่านเว็บรับจองได้ แต่ถ้าจองผ่านเว็บรับจองใน internet จะมีค่าธรรมเนียมเพิ่มเติม บวกเข้าไป แนะนำให้จองรอบดึก 20.00-21.30 เพราะจะไปถึงที่เชียงคานเข้าพอดี
วันที่1.....เมื่อเดินทางมาถึงจุดลงรถ บขส. เชียงคาน จะมีรถสามล้อมารุมเยอะมากๆ ใครชอบสบายก็นั่งรถไป ประมาณ 20 บาท ไปที่พัก เพราะใกล้ๆ หรือถ้าชอบลำบากหน่อยๆแบบเราก็เดินได้นะ นิดเดียวก็ถึงริมโขง ก่อนที่จะไปที่พัก จะผ่านตลาดสดเชียงคาน สามารถเดินดูอาหาร ดูพืชผักได้ หลังจากนั้นเราเดินไปต่อที่ซอย 10 เพื่อไปรับประทานข้าวเปียกและไข่กะทะ ขนมปัง เป็นมื้อแรกของเรา และที่สำคัญเราลื่นตกบันไดที่ร้านนี้แหล่ะ 555+ มือถลอก ขาช้ำเพราะว่าฝนตกบันไดไม้ เจ็บตัวกันไปชิวๆ เพราะไปใหนก็ต้องเจ็บตัวเสมอ ไม่งั้นเหมือนไปไม่ถึง พออิ่มพุงกางแล้วก็เปิด Google map นำทางไปต่อที่พัก ทริปนี้เราพักกันที่ พัลลภา โฮมเสตย์ แต่บอกก่อนว่าที่พักไม่ได้อยู่ในถนนคนเดิน แต่สามารถเดินไปได้ไม่ไกล เมื่อไปถึงที่พักก็ฝากกระเป๋าเดินทางไว้ก่อนและออกไปเช่าจักรยานคันละ 50 บาท เพื่อปั่นเที่ยวเนื่องจาก ต้องรอแขกก่อนหน้าเช็คเอ้าก่อน ปั่นไปไหว้พระที่วัดโพนชัย เป็นวัดแรก และปั่นย้อนกลับมาที่วัด ศรีคุณเมือง เป็นวัดที่เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของถนนคนเดิน เราเปลี่ยนไปปั่นต่อที่ริมโขง ไปเรื่อยๆ ชมบรรยากาศริมโขงและฝั่งประเทศลาวไปด้วย จนปั่นไปๆ ถึงวัดเชียงคาน และต่อด้วยวัดท่าแขกที่ห่างกันประมาณ 200 เมตร หลังจากไหว้พระขอพรเสร็จเราก็ปั่นกันไปต่อจนถุงแก่งคุดคู้ บริเวณนี้จะมีร้านขายของและมะพร้าวแก้วเยอะมากๆ บริเวณแก่งคุดคู้จะมีตำนาน จึ่งคึงดั้งแดง ให้อ่านประวัตินี่ตลกมาก ถึงกับขำไม่หยุดกันเลยทีเดียว เสร็จเรียบร้อยก็ปั่นรถกลับมาที่ถนนเชียงคาน เพื่อเช็คอิน ที่พัก โดยที่พักของเราวันนี้จะเป็นบ้านไม้ สวยงามมากๆ แต่ไม่เหมาะสำหรับคนเท้าหนักเพราะเวลาเดินบนพื้นไม้จะต่างจากพื้นปูนมากๆ ซึ่งเราก็เดินย่องๆ ตลอดเวลา 555 ในห้องจะไม่มีตู้เย็น แต่ห้องน้ำกว้างสะอาด ห้องเหมือนเรานอนบ้านญาติ ซะมากกว่า ส่วนตอนเช้าจะมีขนมปังแยม และไมโลให้ชงกินเองในห้องครัว และมีตู้เย็นด้านล่างที่สามารถแช่ของได้
เมื่อเช็คอินเสร็จ ก็..... หลับบบบบยาว ตื่นอีกทีก็เย็น อาบน้ำเสร็จเราก็ออกไปเดินเล่นถนนคนเดินเชียงคานซึ่งจะเปิดเวลา 17.00 ของทุกวัน แต่ว่าคนจะเยอะ ศุกร์ เสาร์ อาทิตย์ ซึ่งอาหารที่ใครๆก็แนะนำให้มากินคือ กุ้งเสียบไม้,ปูเสียบไม้,หอยเสียบไม้,หนอนไหม,มีโรตีเชียงคาน, บัวลอยเชียงคานและอื่นๆอีกเยอะแยะไปหมด สรุปวันนี้เดินกินกันจะแน่นท้อง เมื่อถึงเวลาก็กลับเข้าที่พักเพื่อนอนเอาแรงสำหรับวันพรุ่งนี้ที่จะไปชมหมอกที่ภูทอก
วันที่2..... เราตื่นตอนตีสี่เพื่ออาบน้ำแต่งตัว เพราะว่านัดคุณลุงคนขับสามล้อไว้ตอนตี 5 เน้นย้ำ!!!ต้องไปแต่เช้า เพราะว่าถ้าไปสายๆก็อาจจะไม่ได้ชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้น อาจจะได้เห็นแค่หมอกเท่านั้น หลังจาก ตี5 เป๊ะ!!! คุณลุงก็มาถึงเดินทางประมาณ 30 นาที ก็ถึงจุดขึ้นรถกะบะ เสียค่าธรรมเนียมคนละ 25 บาท ก็เดินทางขึ้นไปบนภูทอกจับจองมุมที่ชอบชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้น แต่ถ้าใครไปไม่ทันก็ไม่เป็นไรนะ พระอาทิตย์อยู่กับเราจนเย็น จะดูตอนใหนก็ได้ แฮร่!!! พอสมใจอยากก็จากมา ด้วยรอยยิ้มหลังจากนั้นเราก็หิวซิ รออะไรรีบตรงไปยังร้านขายอาหารสั่งโจ๊กมารับประทานแต่ว่า... โจ๊กที่นี่หน้าตาแปลกๆ เหมือนข้าวต้มเลย 555+ มีทั้งผัก มีสาหร่าย เราก็งงว่าทำไมโจ๊กมันแปลกๆเพราะเคยกินที่อื่นจะมีแค่ข้าวแล้วก็ไข่ ใส่ขิงซอยนิดหน่อยและหมูสับแค่นี้เอง แต่ถามว่าหมดมั้ยก็หมดนั่นแหล่ะหิว ได้เวลาเดินทางต่อไปที่ต่อไปคือ วัดพระบาทภูควายเงินที่นี่ถ้ามาด้วยรถสามล้อจะต้องจอดรถตรงทางขึ้นแล้วโทรเรียกรถกะบะของทางวัดมารับ เสียค่าบริการคนละ 25 บาท และเมื่อถึงวัดเราก็เข้าไปสักการะไหว้สิ่งศักสิทธิ์ กัน ได้เวลาสนุกแล้วซิ ... ที่วัดจะมีน้องกระต่ายเยอะมากๆๆ สามารถทำบุญซื้ออาหารให้กระต่ายได้หยอดเหรียญใส่ตู้ทำบุญแล้วหยิบอาหารหรือผักบุ้งไปให้อาหารกันได้เลย สนุกมากๆ จนถึงเวลาก็ต้องลงโดยกะบะเช่นเดิม ไปต่อกันที่สุดท้ายของวันนี้คือ สกายวอล์คเชียงคาน เดินทางมาถึงแล้ว เราจะต้องไปซื้อตั๋วรถกะบะ 20 บาท และรองเท้าใส่บนสกายวอล์อคอีก 30 บาทนะไม่ให้ใส่รองเท้าเราเข้าไป พอถึงด้านบน เราจะต้องไปรับคูปองรอบที่จะเข้าสกายวอล์คด้านหน้า เค้าจะเรียกให้เดินเข้าเป็นรอบๆ บรรยากาศดีๆ ก้มมองด้านล่างก็หวิวๆ เอาล่ะ!!! หนำใจก็กลับลงมาด้านล่างจ้า เดินตลาดหาของกินกัน เพราะด้านล่างจะมีร้านอาหารมีตลาดขายของกินเยอะเลย.... ถึงที่พักตอน 11.00 หลับอีกแล้วววววว......ตื่นมาตอนเย็นเช่นเคย เดินถนนคนเดินหาของกินๆๆๆ แล้วกลับมานอนพักผ่อน
วันที่3..... วันนี้วันสุดท้ายแล้ว เราตื่นตอนตี 5 เพื่อรอตักบาตรหน้าที่พัก แต่พระมา 6 โมงนะ จะมีแถวนั่งรอยาววววววววววว คนตักบาตรกันเยอะมาก พอตักบาตรเสร็จก็ไปหาซื้อหมูปิ้งมารองท้อง วันนี้เราจองรถ sun bus กลับกรุงเทพ รอบ 2 ทุ่มซึ่งรถจะมีแค่รอบเช้า กับดึก ไม่มีรอบกลางวันนะ สำหรับเชียงคาน - กรุงเทพ แต่ถ้า เลย- กรุงเทพ มีตลอดวัน แต่จากเชียงคานไป บขส. เลยก็เป็นชั่วโมงเลยแหล่ะ เนื่องจากไม่มีอะไรทำเราก็ไปเดินเล่น หาข้าวเที่ยวรับประทานและแวกคาเฟ่ สองผัวเมีย ที่มีน้องเหมียวน่ารักๆ ให้หยอก ถึงเวลาก็เดินจากที่พักไปจุดรอรถ sun bus กลับ กทม. รอบ 20.00 ถึง กทม ประมาณ ตี 5 เป็นอันจบทริปจ้า

Chiang Khan is in the north of Thailand.It is located in the north of Loei by car for about an hour.Behind the Mekong River, the shore is Laos.
This is a very natural and rich city with mountains and rivers.Many buildings in the city are made of wood.It is a famous place as a nostalgic city.
After evening it will turn into Walking Street.Many shops will open at both ends of the road.
Foreign tourists are still few.Many tourists are Thai people

Loei in northeast Thailand is a populated, mountainous province.
Situated near the Mekong River. South of the laid-back capital, Loei, is the biodiverse Phu Kradueng National Park. Trails pass waterfalls and sandstone cliffs on their way up the huge plateau of Phu Kradueng mountain. North of the park are the striking eroded limestone formations of Suan Hin Pha Ngam, or “Beautiful Rock Garden.”

Extreme Chinese Street Food - JACUZZI CHICKEN and Market Tour in Kunming! | Yunnan, China Day 4

Kunming, Yunnan, China - Kunming is the capital and largest city in Yunnan province China. So I was excited to explore the local market in Kunming and eat as much street food as possible!
Here are all the Chinese street food dishes we ate throughout the market:
Rice pudding - 5 RMB ($0.76) - This was slightly fermented, and sweet, like a rice alcohol pudding. It was pretty good, but quite sweet, so I couldn’t eat that much of it.
Dumpling - 1 RMB ($0.15) - I saw these dumplings sizzling and hissing and there was no way I could walk by without trying one. Stuffed inside were leek and egg. They were a little on the oily side, but delicious.
Whole duck - 20 RMB ($3.03) - Yunnan is famous for roast duck, and there’s a version that’s comparable even to Beijing style. Style I was excited to find a stall that at the market that specialize in Yunnanese roast duck. It was delicious and the owners were very friendly as well.
Pickled pears - 5 RMB ($0.76) - This was an interesting snack, and supposed to be very healthy and good for digestion.
Drink - 2 RMB ($0.30) - This drink was incredible sweet, but refreshing.
Tofu Noodles - 5.5 RMB ($0.83) - Another extremely popular Chinese street food snack at the market was tofu noodles - I’ve had tofu and noodles, but not really mixed before. It was a little plain and starchy, but from all the sauces, it was taty.
Rice balls - 5 RMB ($0.76) - We also tried sesame rice balls which were delicious.
Jacuzzi braised ½ chicken - 15 RMB ($2.27) - This was one of the highlights of the market for me, mainly because the owner was so friendly and his giant jacuzzi of boiling chickens was amazing to see! The chicken was a little bony, but flavorful.
Yellow soybean porridge - 3.5 RMB ($0.53) - As we were leaving the market, we stopped for one last bowl of soybean porridge to eat with youtiau, Chinese donuts. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did, but it was delicious. It was very warming and hearty.
Finally to complete this Chinese street food tour in Kunming, Jerry and I, along with his family ate Chinese Yunnanese bbq. It was tasty and a great way to end this amazing day of street food.
