East Meets West: ANA Launches New Luxury Cabins
This summer, the new cabin products “THE Suite” and “THE Room” inspired by Japanese heritage and Western design principles will be featured in First Class and Business Class for the first time on Tokyo – London route. The new products were born out of five years of design development and collaboration between famed Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and leading British designers Acumen.
New cabin designs include the world’s largest 4K resolution monitor in First Class and an innovative new Business Class seat with private door and multi functional lounging and dining capabilities.
Behind the Scenes of ANA’s New B777 Cabin
This in-flight program for both domestic and international passenger operations looks at the untold story of the five-year development of business class seating and the behind the scenes of cabin modifications that took 100 days. It was planned, filmed, edited, and produced by ANA mechanics and staff. The program was well received when it was shown from May to September 2021, and now it is available for viewing on ANA’s official YouTube channel. Now you can enjoy it on the ground, too.
ANA 777-300ER cabin walkthrough
Welcome onboard ANA's 4 class 777-300ER. This is the lowest density configuration used by ANA with only 212 seats - 8 in First, 68 in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 112 in Economy. These aircraft are mainly used on routes to London (LHR), Frankfurt (FRA) and New York (JFK). ANA operate 22 777-300ERs, 6 of which are fitted with the 212 seat configuration: JA784A, JA785A, JA786A, JA790A, JA791A, JA792A
The first cabin features 8 First class suites followed by a small Business Class cabin with just 2 rows before entering the main Business Class cabin which takes up the majority of the plane. At door 3 is a small bar area and then another small Business Class cabin of 4 rows. Next is the Premium Economy cabin with 3 rows and finally the Economy Class cabin is located in the rear most section.

Designed by famed architect Kengo Kuma, who also created Japan’s stunning new National Stadium for the Tokyo Olympics, the ANA suites are gorgeous but understated, with wood paneling that harkens to Japan’s lush forests, innovative layouts inspired by traditional Japanese living spaces and closing panels for added privacy.

ANA Business Class The Room
This was my first time flying on ANA HND-JFK and it just happened to be in their new business class The Room! A lot of my flights were canceled or rerouted and I fought to get an earlier flight home so I wouldn't be stranded!
I think ANA is one of the best airlines out there and The Room is one of the best business classes flying today!

This is one of the world's best business classes. ANA's The Room has the largest seat out of any business class in the sky. Join me for my full review of this amazing product!
I flew 12 hours from Los Angeles to Tokyo Haneda in this spectacular seat. ANA's The Room is famous for its absolutely massive seat and an unparalleled amount of privacy for business class. While The Room isn't quite as good as Qatar Qsuites, I would say that it may come in at a very close second.
The seat (if you can really even call it that) is hilariously large. Seriously it is almost the width of 2 typical business class seats. This allows you to spread out in a way that feels unreal on an airplane. Most international first class seats don't come close to the amount of space that ANA has here.
Furthermore, each seat features a set of closing doors which leave you feeling like you are in a world of your own. When the doors are closed, you don't even notice anyone else around you. It truly is as if you had your own private room.
While I didn't get to try out as much food as I wanted, what I had was great. Every dish I had was extremely high quality and fresh. If you have any dietary restrictions (such as being vegetarian) then I would recommend selecting your meal in advance. Unfortunately, unlike airlines like Qatar Airways, ANA doesn't always have vegetarian main courses available for selection onboard. I was lucky that they had extras for me but it is something to consider. The flight crew were all excellent. Everyone was super friendly and attentive.
I highly recommend this product. I would absolutely love to fly it again, especially since it is so easy to book using credit card points and miles.
Here is my cost for this flight:

-$360 for taxes and fees
It goes without saying this was a phenomenally good deal. This seat normally sells for over $4,000 one-way. The toughest part of booking this is by far finding the award availability. However, if you are flexible and are willing to take a close-in spontaneous trip then it is definitely possible.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has just announced brand new First and Business class cabins for 12 of its 777-300ER aircraft. The seats feature direct aisle access, fully enclosed doors, and brand new 4K TV screens. ANA's new business class seat is similar to Qatar Airways' QSuite product. The aircraft also features a new Premium Economy and Economy cabin. The first flight is expected to be from Tokyo Haneda to London Heathrow in August.

But with a plane around it. And the room doesn't have a roof. The plane does have a roof, which is something we've come to expect from a premium airline such as ANA.
