$225 Massive ROYAL SEAFOOD PLATTER in Copenhagen, Denmark!

????Copenhagen Street Food Tour:
????T-shirts and caps:
Thank you to Visit Copenhagen

Copenhagen, Denmark - If you look at a map, you’ll see that Denmark has an immense amount of sea coastline - from the different islands and peninsulas that make up the country. Seafood has and always will be a major part of Danish food and culture. And so today we’re focusing on seafood in Denmark, starting from the source of the fishermen to some amazing people serving incredible seafood.

Fishing port - To get started in the morning we first drove about 30 minutes outside of Copenhagen to a small fishing port to meet up with a fishermen and see his fresh catch of the day. Most of his catch was cod, and a few trout.

Kødbyens Fiskebar - To get the seafood tour started we then drove over to the Meatpacking district of Copenhagen and to a restaurant called Kødbyens Fiskebar, a seafood restaurant serving a modern take on Danish seafood. Their dishes are even tastier than they look, and they are some of the most beautiful seafood dishes I’ve ever seen, so delicate and artful. The food was undoubtedly fresh, and we had an amazing meal.

Cykelkokken - Chef Morten Kryger Wulff ( also known as the bicycle chef, is an amazing man who has created a custom bicycle kitchen. After seeing some of the urban hanging seafood gardens, we then got started cooking. Chef Morten made oysters and champagne, followed by a stir fry of vegetables and mussels in a spinach leaf wrap. Gourmet food, amazing people, and an incredibly fun experience. Thank you to Chef Morten and the entire team from Cykelkokken. Highly recommended when you’re in Copenhagen!

Krogs Fiskerestaurant - Seafood Restaurant - Finally to finish off this seafood tour of Copenhagen, Denmark, Esben and I went to Krogs Fiskerestaurant, one of the original seafood restaurants in Copenhagen, a legendary restaurant. We knew exactly what we wanted to order, the moment we sat down - the Royal Danish Seafood platter. It was everything I had expected and more. A wonderful classic restaurant, and truly a Royal Danish seafood experience! Total price - 1,510 DKK ($225.58)

Thanks to Esben ( for taking me around!

Again, thank you to Visit Copenhagen ( for supporting my trip to Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Denmark ???????? 4K Walking Tour 2023

This is a walking tour in Copenhagen, Denmark. I had a short time in Copenhagen and was very surprised on how lively, clean and welcoming the city is. If there was a perfect city it might be Copenhagen. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to do more videos but I definitely will return to this city and explore more.

Copenhagen is the capital city of Denmark, a Nordic country located in Northern Europe. It is one of the most vibrant and progressive cities in the world, known for its quality of life, sustainability initiatives, and a strong commitment to urban design and cycling culture.

Spring in Copenhagen and Easter at Tivoli Gardens, Denmark 4k

Copenhagen is a wonderful city where you want to walk at any time of the year, enjoying its narrow streets, colorful houses, and bright shop windows.

And unlike the rest of Scandinavia, even on Easter, shops, museums, and parks are open in the capital of Denmark. Therefore, the life of the big city continues, spring flowers are planted in flower beds, and the first leaves are already appearing on the trees. Copenhagen is located much south of Oslo or Stockholm and the climate here is milder, so spring comes already in March!

One of the oldest parks in Denmark - Tivoli Gardens, which is located in the very heart of Copenhagen, prepared Easter magic for visitors from bright decorations, interesting concerts, and finally tens of thousands of tulips, hyacinths, and narcissus.

We were in Tivoli in the summer and often come to walk along its alleys at Christmas, but in the spring we came to Tivoli for the first time. By the way, you can watch the video of our Christmas walk here:

But in contrast to the Christmas video, where we walked only in Tivoli Park, this time we started our walk around Copenhagen from the Copenhagen City Hall, on the central pedestrian street Strøget and we moved to the Nyhavn district.

And since the capital of Denmark is a city of bicycles, we’ll rent orange bikes and ride through Nyhavn, and then back to Tivoli Park! After all, we left it in our video for a tasty treat! :)

At Easter in Norway, the weather was cloudy and cool and it was raining, and it was also cloudy in Denmark, but Tivoli Park, even in gray weather, warms the hearts of visitors with bright colors and gives a feeling of a fairy tale and a spring mood. Which we took with us and are in a hurry to share with you!

At the end of the video, in the evening we invite you to walk with us around Copenhagen, shrouded in warm city lights. And for those who are inspired by the mood and atmosphere, we have prepared enchanting time-lapses of the city at night, and this is always an additional effort to the already difficult process of video shooting. After all, in a timelapse, it is important to take into account all the little things! From finding the perfect angle, to then processing thousands of photos to get just a couple of seconds of video.

By the way, if you are fans of time-lapse videos, then we invite you to admire our hometown Fredrikstad:

Or the amazing natural phenomenon - the Northern Lights, which we caught with our lenses throughout Norway on cold and dark nights:

If you like the video, be sure to write something kind in the comments. This is incredibly important and pleasant for us! It also motivates you to continue exploring and making new videos! Thank you for traveling with us!

And if you want to support us or treat us to a cup of hot chocolate, then follow this link and become a member of our channel’s club! We will be extremely grateful to you! :)

So Much TO EAT in COPENHAGEN!!!

Copenhagen has some of the world’s best cuisine, so in this video we brought our appetite to The City of Spires. Join us as we travel around the city to find some of the city’s best eats. From sweet to savory and everything in between, we dined on some of Copenhagen’s tastiest bites.

Our first stop was breakfast, of course. We went to one of the city’s finest food halls, Torvehallerne, to try one of Copenhagen’s favorite breakfast foods, Grød. We were not disappointed in the sweet, creamy tasty porridge dish we had with crisp apples, crunchy almonds, and rich caramel sauce. What a great way to start!

Next we indulged in an incredible cheeseburger from Gasoline Grill. Not only was this juicy, tangy burger an incredible treat, but it’s also at a functioning gas station. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, Gasoline Grill has only been around since 2016 but is sure to become an institution. Be sure to come early in the day before they run out of these incredible burgers.

For something a bit sweeter, we tried the Hindbærsnitter or raspberry tart. We saw these all around town at different bakeries, and had to try one for ourselves. It was a rush of sugary goodness, so be prepared with a cup of black coffee or tea to balance out your tastebuds.

Our next stop was Tivoli Gardens, one of the attractions we were looking forward to the most in our time in Copenhagen. We rode the Rutschebanen, which was built in 1914 and is one of the oldest operational wooden roller coasters in the world. We did not leave Tivoli Gardens without trying a Danish hotdog, topped with at least two types of onions, pickles, and a zesty remoulade. We also indulged in a Carlsberg beer, probably the best beer in the world. What a way to spend a gorgeous summer day in Copenhagen!

Not yet finished with our tasty trip around Copenhagen, we headed back to Torvehallerne to try fish cakes and tacos. The fish cakes were a tasty fried treat and highlighted the fresh fish that can be found all over Copenhagen. But tacos in Copenhagen?! That’s right, don’t forget to stop at Hija de Sanchez, a taco stall operated by Rosio Sanchez, one of the chefs formerly of restaurant NOMA. If you want to try some incredible food without the NOMA price tag, be sure to try the pork tacos with handmade tortillas.

One day wasn’t enough to try all the foods, and we couldn’t leave out the iconic Wienerbrød. What we here in the U.S. call the “Danish,” those in Denmark actually refer to the pastry as “Vienna Bread,” brought to Denmark by Austrian bakers and perfected to Danish tastes. We tried ones filled with custard and topped with almonds and powdered sugar. Be sure to stop early in the morning to have the pick of these indulgent, tasty treats.

We couldn’t skip out on one of the most iconic foods in Copenhagen: Smørrebrød. These open-faced sandwiches are covered in rich, fatty toppings that pair well with a strong Aquavit. Be sure to try one with Herring, a favorite fish of Copenhagen that can be prepared several ways, and a dessert Smorrebrod of some type (we tried cheese with jam) to indulge your sweet tooth.

Lastly we couldn’t leave without trying local candy. As much of Scandinavia is known for their love of liquorice, we had to try some while we were here, and decide on the abundant Tom’s Pingvin Klassisk Mix. While not personally our taste, if you are a liquorice lover don’t skip out on trying some while in Copenhagen.

We sure will miss Copenhagen but we did not go home with empty stomachs!
