Exploring Where Tourists Don't Visit in St Vincent & the Grenadines - Episode 18
In this episode, we sail from mainland St. Vincent to check out the island of Canouan. Despite previous reports of yacht theft, we found the island to be super welcoming and full of charm. Next, we stop at Tobago Cays where we spend our days swimming with turtles, sharks and rays. After spending a few days underwater, we sail back to St. Vincent mainland to Petit Byahaut where we do some scuba diving and check out the anchorages on the west coast of St. Vincent.

Memories of Christmas Season 2021 in St Vincent and the Grenadines
Two weeks of highlights over Christmas 2021 / New Year 2021/2022 in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
BEQUIA - St. Vincent and the Grenadines Island Tour
Today, we got off the Seabourn Odyssey ship and did a full island tour of Bequia- located in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the southern Caribbean. Before we got off the cruise, I show you all one of my favorite secret places onboard the ship that was peaceful and serene each morning. We then took our tender to port where our excursion company met us with open-air vehicles to explore the island. Our first stop was an old WWII site with cannons, before heading over to the highest point on the island to get a lookout of surrounding islands of the Grenadines. We then had the pleasure of visiting a turtle sanctuary, before having some rum punch at a beautiful estate!

Exploring Mayreau island????️ Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
After the most amazing few days spent mostly in the water at Tobago Cays it was time to head across the Mayreau, an island about 45 minutes sail away.
Mayreau is the smallest inhabited island of the Grenadines, with an area of about 0.46 sq. miles and a population of about 271.The population is centered in an unnamed village, located on Station Hill, a hilltop in the south-west of the island. It is an isolated community, accessible only by boat. Electricity was only recently (2002) provided by a central generator located on Saline Bay. There is a single-lane concrete road leading from the wharf on Saline Bay through the village to Saltwhistle Bay. The top of the island is crested with the small elementary school; the telecommunications building; the brick and stone Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, christened on May 12, 1930, and a Pentecostal church. From the crest of the hill behind the Catholic Church, there is an overlook of the Tobago Cays, Canouan and Union Island.
We set our anchor in Saline Bay and rested for the first time in days ????. Mayreau is so tiny that we walked the entire length of it, in a couple of hours. We explored about 80% of its circumference and its really beautiful. From the stunningly beautiful bays, to the view across to Tobago Cays from the islands high point behind a quaint beautiful church, we had a great few days exploring before heading back to Union Island to catch up with fellow cruisers again.

After spending three weeks in paradise, we headed to the mainland St. Vincent to explore. Bequia, we will see you soon! After arriving at St. Vincent and checking into our stay, we settled in and started exploring the very next day.
In this video, we will be exploring St. Vincent during covid and walking the Street of Kingstown.
We explored the streets of Kingstown, St Vincent. We had an enjoyable time visiting the vendors, the central market, and the churches. Oh, our lunch at the Stop Light restaurant and bar was delicious. When visiting you definitely should have lunch here.
Today was a special day because we were recognized by one of our YouTube subscribers for the very first time. She was adorable. I teased her for recognizing Kenny and not me. LOL
Don’t forget that you will need an international driver’s permit to drive in St. Vincent.
*Driving in St Vincent and Grenadines-
A local driver’s license is required to drive on St Vincent and is obtainable at Police Headquarters in Kingstown on the production of your own driving license and two passport photos. Your rental company should be able to arrange it for you too. The cost appears to be $100EC.

Yes, guys, we are out of quarantine and this is our first day exploring Bequia Island, St. Vincent. We were super excited to get out of the house and start exploring. We drove to town to hang out at the Belmont Walkway. At the Belmont Walkway, you walk on a small boardwalk alongside restaurants to one side and the ocean on the other side. What a delightful walk. We skipped lunch and had an early dinner at Mac’s Pizza and Kitchen. It was delicious, and the view was stunning! We recommend checking out this restaurant when you visit.
After dinner, we continued our walk. We passed several restaurants along the way. We shortly came to the princess Margaret trail. It wasn’t a long walk. I would say 10 minutes. The trail was easy and enjoyable. The views were striking! We got some great drone shots for you guys. I hope you like them. After our lovely short hike, while heading back, it rained and was getting dark. Therefore, we called it a night.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of the Belmont Walkway and the trail to Princess Margaret.
We will continue to explore Bequia Island.
