I Entered Myanmar from Mizoram & Spent a Day without Visa & Passport | Rih Dil Lake | Border ????????
Today we entered Myanmar from a placed called Zokhawthar in Mizoram. Upon reaching Zokhawthar, you can easily cross the gate between India and Myanmar and spend a day in Myanmar without a passport and visa. I have experienced many tourist places in Mizoram so far but this crossing Indo-Myanmar border and getting to spend a day in Myanmar was one of my fav things to do.
Zokhawthar is a border town in the Champhai district of Mizoram state of India. There is one Zokhawthar in India and another in Myanmar. The two are divided by a gate. Upon entering Zokawthar, we took a bike and headed to Ril Dil Lake - one of the key tourist attractions of Mizoram/Myanmar. Rih Dil is a natural lake located in northwestern Chin State in Myanmar. It lies at about 3 km from Zokhawthar, the nearest village situated at an Indo-Burma border. It has a heart-shaped outline.

Get off R1095, enter R1285 and ride all the way up into the mountains until you reach border checkpoint. 27 kilometers of asphalt, concrete and dirt at narrow 2 lane road that eventually becomes single lane some 4-5 km before the border. Really friendly soldiers, about 22 of stationed here, lots of drugs seized on weekly basis according to them. Short video features last 5km to the border and happennings at checkpoint itself.

Myanmar (Burma) 2019 Highlights - Adventure Expedition on my BMW GS1200
Hi everyone,
Here are the highlights of my entire bike adventure trip to Myanmar, Burma. We rode from Kuala Lumpur to Thailand and crossed into Burma at the Mae Sot/Myawaddy border crossing. From there I rode my GS1200 bike across the beautiful country of Myanmar for 10 days. We exited the country via the Taichilek/Mae Sai border crossing, back into Thailand on the 3rd of December 2019.
Total mileage done: 7000kms (starting and ending in Kuala Lumpur)

Nepal To Burma with the Honda Grom - Part 1 // Gromance Adventures Ep.12
During my later days in India and Nepal, plans for Myanmar(Burma) was starting to come along. Eventually we got a tour guide booked and had to leave immediately to make it to the border in time. So this is the first part of the 11 day sprint from Katmandu to Moreh(Indias border village to Myanmar)

This is my Thailand To Myanmar Border Crossing On Foot via Mae Sot To Myawaddy border experience. Crossing international borders on foot is a unique unpredictable experience and I have done it many times in the past and I will continue to do it, I really love those experiences and the transition between two countries is like walking into a black hole not knowing what will happen next.
