I went backpacking around Egypt & Jordan for one month by myself.
Egypt & Jordan are undoubtedly on most people's travel bucket lists, but I've always had the impression that the majority of people travel there on an organised tour.
So I wanted to give it a go by myself and see what it was like booking everything on the go, treating it like a normal backpacking trip.
This is the trailer for the 2-part documentary series.
Highlights of the trip include seeing the Pyramids of Cairo; visiting Abu Simbel temple; cruising along the Nile, exploring the Valley of the Kings at Luxor, scuba-diving in the Red Sea; following in the footsteps of Indiana Jones at Petra; and enjoying the vast beauty of Wadi Rum.

Egypt: The WORST Country I Ever Visited – My WARNING to Future Travelers
When I visited Egypt, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was very excited to witness ancient Egypt, I've always been fascinated by the pyramids and their construction. From exploring the top ten sites, from the pyramids of Giza, the Giant Sphinx, Temple of Luxor, Temple of Karnak, avenue of Sphinxes, to the valley of kings and queens we explored it all in this travel vlog. From dangerous cities to sketchy neighborhoods, I experienced it all. In this video, I share my journey and the lessons I learned along the way. I was sad to see travelers exploited from the second they arrived in the airport. Constant solicitation and scammers take away from once a magical place. I don't even know how to begin to describe the animal cruelty I witnessed. From Cairo to Luxor there wasn't much of a difference, but I can definitely recommend Luxor over Cairo. This is my warning to all future travelers: tread lightly, and be prepared for anything!

My first day in Petra was an eye-opener, and whilst Jordan is full of kind and friendly people, there are a lot of scammers and salesmen that prey on tourists at this world wonder.
I was harassed in Petra as soon as I went through the first turnstile, and in this video is a side of Petra that they don’t show you.

Egypt - Red Sea - Jordan
I finally finished up a lil project from my time in Egypt ???????? & Jordan ???????? this past September.
I was a bit skeptical on how the whole trip was gunna play out but of course it surpassed all expectations over and over again.
It’s no Spielberg production ???? but from the camels ???? & pyramids to the sharks???? & shipwrecks⛵️ I think it gives a better picture of what the trip was like. Hope you all enjoy. Love to hear your thoughts and favorite clips.
I started the trip from Cairo backpacking down the Nile for the first couple weeks before I headed to the Red Sea. I then hopped on a liveaboard from the Egyptian coast and sailed around the Red Sea scuba diving before breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the following week. Next, I flew over to Jordan for about a week to see the Dead Sea, Petra, and my favorite, the absolutely incredible Wadi Rum. The last leg started with a ferry back over to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt where I hung in Dahab for a couple days and finished the trip camping & scuba diving off the tip of the Sinai Peninsula before making my way back home. Absolutely incredible trip, many new friends, and plenty of great memories.

Egypt Solo Travel Vlog 2022 ???????? Budget Travel Ch.28
After nine months on the road I finally entered Egypt and began to hitchhike across. A beautiful night wild camping under the stars, long hike along the beach, a few generous drivers and me and my backpack eventually ended up in Cairo. I spend a few days in a wonderful hostel rebuilding strength and motivation, explored an abandoned building and then trekked across the city to Giza. The pyramids were as magnetic and spectacular as you could imagine, somewhat tainted by the tourists and hustlers. Another day of hitchhiking got me back to the red sea and ready to board a boat to Saudi Arabia.
This is a travel vlog sharing my solo nomad hitchhike vagabond adventure around the world. Living abroad out my backpack I explore foreign countries, experience local food, meet people, wild camp, hike, swim and survive on a budget.
