This is a traditional Emirati meal that is usually reserved for special occasions or very exclusive guests. It's not a normal Dubai Street Food, but that's why it's so good. It is an extremely rare Arab food nowadays! You have to be incredibly lucky to experience this whole camel platter! This is definitely one of the must try foods in Dubai! It is a traditional Emirati food and is one of the best things to do in Dubai. Camel meat is something that may be sensitive to some viewers, so make sure you're comfortable with watching the camel cooking! The chefs who prepared the camel recipe were originally from the South of India in Kerala, but have been living in Dubai for over 20 years.

If you're thinking of traveling to Dubai for a food trip, you can't go wrong, there is so much delicious Emirati cuisine and amazing street food to try! I must admit, most of the food is in Dubai restaurants that are clean and quiet, but that is part of the charm of Dubai.

First, Peyman and I checked out the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and then made our way to the one and only Camel Restaurant, address below:

Entire Camel Platter in Dubai: Zaman Awal Restaurant
Address: Al Boom Village, Dubai, UAE, United Arab Emirates

If you're wondering if you should eat street food in Dubai or go for regular restaurants in Dubai, I recommend mixing it up and going for both. In this food video, we are solely visiting one of the best restaurants in dubai for the whole camel plate.

DUBAI FOOD | TRADITIONAL EMIRATI CUISINE UAE

Dubai Food is incredibly delicious! We visited Dubai in the UAE to try some traditional Emirati Cuisine.

If you are planning a trip or have one booked make sure to check them out! It will be the easiest and most affordable travel insurance purchase you have made!

We had the privilege of hanging out and eating with our friend Peyman ( He’s from Dubai, he loves to eat, and he knows some of the best food spots in Dubai.

So in this Dubai food tour, we went around and ate Emirati food, Emirati desserts including CAMEL MILK ICE CREAM!. One thing we want to quickly mention, Peyman explained that Emirati food at restaurants is still not very common in Dubai. This is because there are so many international restaurants in Dubai, and local Emiratis typically just eat their food at home. But things are changing and there is starting to be a higher demand for Emirati food in Dubai. If you're thinking of traveling to Dubai for a food trip, you can't go wrong, there is delicious Emirati cuisine and amazing street food to try! I must admit, most of the food is in Dubai restaurants that are clean and quiet, but that is part of the charm of Dubai. First, Peyman took us to check out The historical quarter of Al Bastakiya dates back to the 19th century and is the oldest residential quarter in Dubai. Then made our way to one of the best restaurants to eat traditional Emirati Cuisine.

This is a must visit restaurant in the most cultural district of Dubai; the food will not disappoint. If you have been there, let us know what you think.
Here is the location: Arabian Tea House:

If you're wondering if you should eat street food in Dubai or go for regular restaurants in Dubai, I recommend mixing it up and going for both. In this food video, we are solely visiting one of the best restaurants in Dubai for Emirati food.

Better Than GOLD!! Rare ARABIAN FOOD in World’s Biggest Oasis - 2 Million Palm Trees!

AL HASA OASIS, SAUDI ARABIA - Welcome to Al Hasa Oasis, the world’s biggest oasis, and home to over 2 million palm trees, and endless amount of date palms! It also happens to be home to some very unique and rare Arabian food. Today we’re exploring some fo the local dishes, including Hassawi red rice - considered more precious than gold!

Friend in the video:
Fahad Alshuaibi: - Huge thank you to Fahad for taking me around Al Hasa and for the incredible food and experience!

Breakfast - Before doing anything we started with a champions breakfast in Al Hasa - simmered lamb legs with special bread made with date syrup. Delicious and the perfect way to get started on this Saudi Arabian food tour.

Qaisariya Al-Ahsa Sou ( - Al Hasa is extremely well known for its market, where you’ll find everything you need from spices to herbs to clothes to coffee. It’s been a market that’s attracted people from all around the region and traders for centuries. It was fascinating to learn from Fahad about the unique and common ingredients used in Al Hasa cuisine.

Rice harvest - We took a quick trip to a farm to see some of the hassawi red rice harvest
This can be quite a quick edit to see the hassawi red rice harvest. It’s only grown in the Al Hasa oasis, and it’s one of the world’s most expensive rice grains, and extremely rare. Local consider it more precious than gold, and it has huge nutritional value.

Farm for cooking and eating - The highlight of this experience was going back to the date palm farm where Fahad and friends cooked a huge local meal including the most delicious and rare Al Hasa foods that really showcase the incredible local culture. The spread of food and the variety was astounding - it was one of the best meals I had in Saudi Arabia!

Thank you again to Fahad and to Visit Saudi Arabia for arranging my trip and this incredible experience!

Traditional EMIRATI FOOD TOUR with Peymal Al Awadhi in DUBAI, UAE!!

????PEYMAN:
???? MY TRAVEL/FOOD BLOG:

Of course, there was no way I could visit Dubai and not link up with the undisputed food king of the UAE for some traditional local food! Join me as I go on a traditional Emirati food tour with my friend Peyman Al Awash in Dubai, UAE!

Peyman is an incredible food and travel content creator based in the UAE. He and I have been in contact for years but this was our first time actually meeting in person!

???? DAVID’S BEEN HERE MERCH:

We’d be hitting up three authentic Emirati spots in the Jumeirah area. They’re rare, so I was excited. Our food adventure began at Nahash Restaurant. Inside is a huge dining hall, and they also have som private dining rooms lined with pillows and cushions.

It was super comfortable! Rooms like this are rare now. The pillows are traditionally hand-embroidered. A lot of people build tents with rooms like this in the desert!

Nahash offers Emirati, Yemeni, and Persian dishes, but we’d only be going with Emirati. I couldn’t wait to try the hobool (deep-fried fish roe sacks) and jasheed (fried minced reef shark)!

We started with some dark and thick Turkish coffee, followed by a simple salad with lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. It came with some chicken stock with cumin!

Next, the rice with caramelized onions, jasheed, hobool, yogurt, and machboos arrived. The hobool was almost like fish fingers and went well with the tzatziki-like yogurt. It was a nice, oily appetizer.

The jasheed looked almost like scrambled eggs. The cilantro and lemon zest on top really made it! Adding it to the white rice and drizzling a bit of animal fat on top made it really delicious! Even though it’s shark, you an only have it here and only in-season to prevent over-fishing.

Adding a tomato gravy to the rice gave it another burst of flavor! The machboos laham was very fragrant. I loved the smoky, fatty lamb. It felt very similar to biryani. The yogurt helped glue it together. It’s the ultimate Emirati dish!

Back out in the restaurant, I tried some fresh bread and then we drove through Dubai to Al-Jalboot Restaurant right on the sea. It had a very Greek feel.

We started with Arabic coffee, which was tasty and aromatic. The cardamom flavor was amazing. Next were sukkari dates, which were extremely sugary and went very well with the coffee.

Next, we had chili potatoes from Lebanon and Jordan, chicken thareed (a thick stew with bread, carrots, and potatoes), and kingfish salona with tomatoes and carrots.

The potatoes had lots of garlic and had a heat that sneaks up on you. Jarjeera, or arugula served as a palate cleanser. I loved the chicken thareed was a nice, stew-like curry with soggy bread inside.

The kingfish salona with rice was really great. It wasn’t too fishy or salty because it was super fresh! I loved the tomato-based gravy.

Finally, we headed to Arabian Tea House Restaurant & Cafe near the Burj Khalifa. There, we finished our tour with Emirati tea and esserts. We could see guys in the kitchen making bread and kebabs.

Suleimani tea, karak chai, luqeimat (donut holes with date syrup, walnuts, and sesame seeds), and more. The chai was a little sweet, and the luqeimat was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I loved them with the Suleimani tea.

Finally was khabisah, a crumbly, pasty dough dish with cardamom, rose water, and saffron. It was sweet but not too sweet. I loved it!

Unseen SAUDI ARABIA Village Food!! Whole Goat RICE PLATTER in Jazan (Yemen Border)!!

???????? Saudi Arabian Food Tour:
????️ Get Smoked Ghost Pepper:
???? Subscribe:

JAZAN, SAUDI ARABIA: High in the mountains of Saudi Arabia, in the very southwestern corner, on the border of Yemen, is Jazan province. It’s a unique part of Saudi Arabia, where some of the world’s most prized coffee in grown and where the mix of culture and food is unlike other parts of the country. Today we have the privilege to visit a local coffee farm where a local family will be cooking a full goat haneed in the backyard.

We began our journey from Jizan city, in the Jazan province of Saudi Arabia. The city is located on the Red Sea, yet just an hour drive away to Fayfa, and you’re transported high into the rugged green mountains that are famous for generations of coffee farming.

Coffee is more than just a drink here, it’s a symbol of hospitality and a gesture of welcome. The coffee is much different than your typical Americano - it’s roasted very lightly, and brewed with cardamom and saffron for a unique fragrance. Rather than using sugar, coffee is served black, but with dates so you can alternate between sips of coffee and sweet dates. The combination is perfect.

After a welcome and coffee, we lit the outdoor wood fire oven, and then took a tour of the farm to learn about the prized Khawlani coffee beans. The farming practice has been passed down for generations in this area. Along with coffee, there were many medical edible herbs throughout the mountain.

Back to the oven, we loaded up an entire goat, along with big handfuls of sour dough, scented with the aroma green leaves. The oven was closed tight for a couple of hours to seal in all the steam and smoke. This cooking technique is common in Saudi Arabia and really does a great job of smoking, baking, and steaming all at the same time.

The time finally came, and we dished out all the tender goat on the rice trays. There were also a number of side dishes, including fresh buttermilk served in a smoky wooden bowl, a variety of doughs served with ghee, and possibly the highlight for me; helba, a sudsy fenugreek sauce that’s definitely a unique flavor, and loved in this region.

It was a meal I’ll never forget, in this friendly coffee village in the mountains of Jazan!

Authentic EMIRATI FOOD & Attractions in Dubai | World's Tallest Building, Burj Khalifa, UAE!

SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week►
Dubai Food Tour►
T-shirts►

NOTE: These are all attractions that I wanted to do in Dubai, however, I want to say a big thank you to Visit Dubai for getting me tickets to all the things included in this video. This is video is not sponsored, but I did get free tickets to these attractions.

Another amazing day in Dubai - we started by visiting the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building for an incredible view of the city. We then enjoyed an amazing authentic Emirati food lunch at Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, and finished the day with a falconry show and dinner.

Burj Khalifa, At The Top - It’s pretty incredible, like a needle that rises from the sand into the clouds. This is one of those attractions you can’t visit Dubai without doing and the view is mind blowing. I only wish it would have been a little more clear outside for an even better view.
Ticket prices - 125 - 200 AED ($34.02 - $54.44)

Bosporus Restaurant - At the Dubai Mall, I was randomly invited by some viewers who watch our videos to have a quick cup of tea and some baklava. Thank you to everyone at Bosporus Restaurant!

Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding - This is really a cool place, an attraction in Dubai where you can enjoy seriously good authentic Emirati food, dress in local clothing, and you can ask whatever you like about UAE culture and traditions. In my opinion this is one of the best cultural and food things you can do when you’re in Dubai, well worth it. The machboos was the best Emirati food served for lunch, it was amazing!

Wild Flight, Falconry show and dinner - Finally for dinner, we attended an event by Wild Flight that included a Dubai falconry show and dinner. The food was alright, not amazing, but seeing the falcons and owls was pretty cool. This would be a great thing to do as a family in Dubai. Micah especially enjoyed it the most.

Everything was complimentary of Visit Dubai, however I chose everything I did in this video.
Thank you Visit Dubai for arranging everything for me, and the complimentary tickets.

Thank you for watching this Dubai food tour video!

Eating Camel in Dubai

i tried camel for the first time at Zaman Awal restaurant in Al Boom Village. The camel meat itself tasted very similar to lamb. It was very tender and fatty. Camel is so flavourful and aromatic I highly recommend you try it on your next trip to Dubai.
