Places to see in ( Pigeon Forge - USA )
Pigeon Forge, a mountain town and vacation area in eastern Tennessee, is the home of Dollywood, country singer Dolly Parton’s Appalachian-themed park consisting of rides, an adjoining water park and a museum of her costumes and memorabilia. The city’s other attractions include country music revues like the Smoky Mountain Opry, dinner theaters such as Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede and outlet malls.
You can step aboard the Titanic, ogle OJ Simpson's white Ford Bronco, ride a 200ft-high Ferris wheel and plunge toward the earth on America's first 'wing coaster' in Pigeon Forge, a sprawling cacophony of excess and traffic burning bright in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains. With liquor by the drink available since 2013, the city has also loosened up a bit at night. Pigeon Forge is named in part for the Little Pigeon River, which flows through the action. Its banks were once a roosting spot for passenger pigeons – now extinct. Best known today as the home of Dollywood, Dolly Parton's namesake theme park, the city is packed tight with hotels, restaurants and family-friendly attractions, most of them lining Parkway, the main thoroughfare. Pigeon Forge is just 8 miles from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but traffic and stoplights can make that 8 miles seem a mighty long way.
The West Fork of the Little Pigeon River flows north from its source high on the slopes of Mount Collins through Sevier County before linking up with the Middle Fork in Sevierville. Pigeon Forge occupies a narrow valley along this river between Sevierville and Gatlinburg. High ridges surround Pigeon Forge on three sides, with Pine Mountain to the west, Shields Mountain to the east, and Cove Mountain to the south. A bend in the Little Pigeon provides the city's northern border with Sevierville, and a narrow gorge cut by the river between Cove Mountain and Shields Mountain acts as the city's boundary with Gatlinburg.

Don't like rides but want to go to Dollywood? They have tons of restaurants to enjoy, lots of shops to shop at and browse and also beautiful flowers and scenery. The park is huge so I just showed the places towards the entrance as we were also busy riding rides.
Breakfast was at Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse Cafe. Great and cute for the kids.
We also go to the Great Smoky Moutain National Park to see the Greenbrier School, got dinner at Bustin' Butts BBQ in Sevierville and went to play mini golf at Toy Box Mini Golf.

Start your journey in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where steep hiking trails and low-slung valleys compete for attention. Nearby, folk and bluegrass bands fiddle away in Gatlinburg, while in Pigeon Forge strands of country music can be heard at Dollywood, run by the one and only Dolly Parton, who was born in Sevierville, just down the road a ways.
Keep Dolly playing as you stride into Nashville. (Pick up a pair of rhinestone cowboy boots to step with flair.) Here you’ll find Tennessee’s temples to country music—the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium, the Bluebird Café—as well as a boom in restaurants cooking up hot takes on down-home fare. Fill up on biscuits and gravy, meat-and-three combos, or hot chicken, a fiery Nashville specialty.
Blues fans and Elvis pilgrims flock to Memphis to sing and dance under Beale Street’s bright lights—music from the street’s many blues clubs regularly spills out into the night. Graceland, the mansion Elvis Presley once called home, is a must, as is Sun Studio, where the King got his big break. For a change of pace, there’s the National Civil Rights Museum, the rails-to-trails corridor Greenline, and barbecue aplenty in the southwestern corner of Tennessee.

I Made It Back To Tennessee | Travel Vlog | Anakeesta | Smoky Mountains | Gatlinburg Adventure!
In today's video I make my way back to Tennessee for some spring 2021 fun, in this travel vlog I hop on my flight from Orlando to Knoxville and I share a little of my flight with you, next I pick up my rental car and drive about 55 minutes to Pigeon Forge to check into my hotel for the night. For some reason it was super busy this weekend and I could not find any hotel rooms but luckily I found one for the night before I transfer over to Dollywood's Dream More resort. The next day I start early at little pigeon forge river and make my way over to Gatlinburg which is about a 10 minute drive from Pigeon Forge to explore more of the area before my event starts. So I end up checking out Anakeesta and make my way up the mountain for a fun adventure and I show you everything you need to know and see about this attraction because it was really fun and I enjoyed it. Finally I walk around the main strip for a little bit to check out the rest of the attractions. Thank you so much for watching, please give this video a big thumbs up!
