We Got KICKED OUT of our RV Park | Fulltime RV Living | The Downside to Fulltime RV Life

Think there's NO DRAMA in RV life? Think again! Our video highlights what happens when you choose the wrong campground to spend a week relaxing and unwinding! While we do give some consideration to user reviews, we don't always mark a campground off our list just because of a handful of poor reviews! Unfortunately, we paid the price this time and will now consider ALL reviews that pertain to power shortages and general upkeep! Let our mistake save you the drama of dealing with a park manager that thinks your big rig is taking all the power out of their park. One highlight that came from this huge inconvenience, is that our next campground, just outside of Glacier National Park, was able to accommodate us four days early! Thanks to getting kicked out, we got to see Glacier three times instead of just once, which we originally had planned! Oh, and our new campground had plenty of electricity for ALL of the rigs in their campground and was well kept!

HERE5 - Erased Landscape

A 75 minute video that tells the story of how a massive erasure of landscape occured in early San Francisco, motivated by explosive population growth and fueled by an influx of minng and industrical wealth. Without second thought, San Francisco transformed sand dunes, hollows, creeks, marshes and bay waters into the flat lands now known as Market Street, South of Market, the Mission District, South Beach, the Financial District, Union Square and the Tenderloin.

Chicago's South Side with Geoffrey Baer

Explore Chicago's South Side neighborhoods with the people who call them home. This new WTTW documentary hosted by Geoffrey Baer traces the history and culture of neighborhoods south of I-55. From Ashburn to Auburn, Hyde Park to Hegewisch, Woodlawn to Washington Park, you'll learn about the events that shaped communities and meet the people who created the true identity of Chicago's South Side.

The story of the South Side of Chicago is a story of immigrants and of migrants, of workers and unions, of political dynasties and sports legacies, art and commerce, progress and struggle.

It is a story of Irish, German, Italian, Polish, Chinese, Lithuanian, Croatian, Slovakian, Mexican and African Americans, of blue collars and brownfields, of White Sox and Black Sox – and of one Red Bridge.

Above all, the story of Chicago’s South Side is a story of neighborhoods – a rich patchwork quilt of neighborhoods, each with its own origin story, identity, culture, and heroes. And while some South Side neighborhoods might seem defined by how much things stay the same, most demonstrate how much in Chicago continuously evolves.

Explore some of the South Side’s neighborhoods and their stories, with even more at:

THE CORRIDOR: Driving the Only Road in 3.5 Million Acres of Wilderness

Alaska - the 49th and most Russian state of America. Russians sold it to the USA as an exhausted territory in the 19th century. Later, when oil and gold reserves were discovered here, Russian migrants started coming back. I traveled to Alaska to visit Old Believers communities and meet with indigenous people who practice Orthodox Christianity and look for their relatives in Chukotka. Let's see how Alaska has changed since the sale and how locals feel about the Russian heritage.

Over-Sea Railroad Lecture by John Blades

A special lecture about the completion of Henry Flagler's Over-Sea Railroad by Flagler Museum Executive Director John Blades.

Mumbai. Wealth and Poverty / Real Life in Indian Slums @extremeletsgo

Today we have the most contrasting city in the world - Mumbai (formerly Bombay). Here billionaires build themselves palaces of 40 floors and live under the protection of armored cars and special forces. And nearby - people survive on a couple of dollars a month. And next to them are people who survive on a couple of dollars a month. In Mumbai, slum dwellers have become almost a separate nation. They refuse to leave them, even when they can. What does an Indian paradise look like? And how life really works in the stone jungle of India's largest city.

This is America’s Best Wild River Trip | DIY Idaho | 5 days Fly Fishing Hiking & Backpacking

If you pack smart and plan accordingly you are sure to leave with a lifetime of memories. Folks this is going to be 5 days fly fishing one of the most remote drainages in the lower 48.

This is truly the fantasy land most outdoorsman only see in dreams. The landscapes taken out of a Tolken tale will make you fell small at every step and the raw elements will remind you how insignificant you truly are. Even though the surroundings are sure to take the breath away, each step ought to be taken with the utmost care. Always keep you gaze keen on the horizon because no matter how vast, there is a good chance you are not alone.

In a lot of ways, this set of challenges may seem insurmountable for the adventurous angler..
But there is good reason fellowships continue to make the pilgrimage to these wild lands. Thriving native fish still swim strong all throughout these emerald waters. Despite the growing list of obstacles brought on by modernity, relics of yesteryear can still be found at the top of these skeleton systems. Apex predators mix with seasonal residents to give a fleeting glimpse of much wilder times in the not so distant past.

Expedition Newfoundland | FULL MOVIE | Travel Documentary

Join us on our overland journey to Canada's Newfoundland Island. We spend 3 weeks July 2023 camping and traveling to some of the most beautiful places around the country. We spent 6 months mapping and planning for this trip. Packing in as much adventure as we can.

Trip Powered by REDARC, XVenture Trailers, Powertube TV & Rugged Bound Supply

PLEASE SUBSCRIBE

Our journey starts with a 1860 mile trek just to get to Newfoundland Canada. But first a border crossing into New Brunswick via the Deer island ferry. Our first night in Canada lands us at the Bay of Fundy. Next into Nova Scotia and our first epic Lobster Roll. Arriving in Sydney NS port to get on a 8 hr Atlantic Ferry going to Newfoundland.

Once in Newfoundland our real overland expedition can begin. We make our way up the west coast exploring the Long Island peninsula and small lobster villages. Next the Viking Trail, Great Northern Peninsula along beautiful shores, collapsed sea caves and barren landscapes. We camp at the furthest north Point Normans Cape. Next Lance Aux Meadows a viking village. Then to St. Anthony. Ending the day in Englee. A coastal fishing town that we camp above on a mountain lake.

Then we head off of the northern peninsula down to the abandoned town Round Harbor with our first humpback whale visitor. Landing on the cliffs overlooking the North Atlantic in the town of LaScie. We spend the afternoon watching humpback whales play in the bay. Followed by a visit to iconic Twillingate where a sickness may cut our trip short.

Next Newfoundlands largest offshore island, Fogo Island. After the ferry our first stop is the small town of Fogo. We visit an odd location The Fogo Island Inn. A remote 5 star hotel. We return to Fogo to camp at the Brimstone Head Park. Leaving Fogo we visit Cape Freels Beach. Then we head down to the beautiful island chain town of Newtown. We end our day on the island of Greensport with an afternoon of crazy weather. Our next day takes us through Terra Nova National Park where we find Mountain View’s, an extremely useful visitor center, showers and an aquatic touch tank. Our path then leads around the north rim of the Bonaviata peninsula. We check out the Cape Bonivista Lighthouse and Puffin Colony. Before heading to the Community Pasture full of wild roaming horses and the perfect camp spot. Ending the day with two whales slapping the water with fins and tails for hours just off shore.

Exploring Elliston we find more Puffin and whale! Next we head to Trinity to one of the oldest blacksmith forges around! A few hr drive takes us to Dildo and a bay side camp spot. The next destination is the islands largest city, Saint Johns. Where we see Signal Hill, Cabot Tower and Jelly Bean Row. Then we become true Newfoundlanders by getting Screeched In at Trapper Johns. We end the day camped on a 600 foot high cliff north of St. John’s.

The next day takes us as far East as you can go on the continent to Cape Spear. Then we wind our way down the coast through Ferryland and around to the South Avalon-Burin Oceanic Barrens. Where we end up at Cape Race Lighthouse. We do some trail riding before settling in a small cove full of seals. Our last day on the island takes us to Cape Pine (the furthest south you can drive) and then up to Castle Hill Fort before we Jump on our ferry in Argentia (MV Atlantic Vision) to head back home through Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
