Oakdown Touring Park is an award winning campsite not far from Seaton in Devon, and has great facilities in a great location.

Oakdown Holiday Park - An award winning park in Sidmouth, South Devon.
We recently spent a week at the Award Winning Oakdown Holiday Park in Sidmouth, South Devon. They advertise it as The perfect place for caravan, touring, camping and glamping holidays... and we have to agree. It is very family and dog friendly and beautifully maintained. As if that was not enough it is just a 20 minute walk down a lovely path to the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. This was the highlight of our week there.

Best Adults Only Caravan Site? | Caravan Vlogs from Mac & Sarah
Welcome to another of our new caravan vlogs! This time we're taking our van to Dorset to stay at Back of Beyond, just outside Ringwood.
Back of Beyond is a touring, camping and glamping site, set in 30 beautiful acres of Dorest countryside. It's a site exclusively for adults and is part of the Tranquil Parks network.

The focal point of the site is the lovely fourteenth-century farmhouse, once besieged by irate Roundheads in the Civil War. The farmyard where the Devon longhorn cattle used to wait to be milked is the setting for barbecues and Morris dancing and the farm buildings have been turned into a Shop, Games Room and tourist Information.

This is a short clip, showing access to Dornafield Caravan Park. The Lane is quite narrow, but as you can see, it is passable while towing. It IS advisable to adhere to the advise given from the site owners, that you DO NOT arrive before 12 noon and Leave promptly at 11am on day of departure.

Arrived today to a very warm welcome, lovely spacious pitches just outside of Paignton, great facilities lots of space in shower blocks very clean. Fantastic dog walking field and great park for children. Very pretty site lots of flowers. We brought the car as well as the Motorhome this time so we can explore the area and I am glad we have, so happy we have booked a week here and have such a tranquil base to return to daily.
