Cornwall - The Beauty Behind Doc Martin and Poldark (Relaxation Music)
Cornwall England is more than just a backdrop for such popular British TV series as Poldark and Doc Martin. The history of the people in this region is as dramatic and interesting as the rugged coastline and hillside sea harbor villages found throughout. While you plan your visit to this remote region you'll see that while tin or copper mining is no longer the main local occupation of the day, rather, it's the beauty and the seaside that visitors are focused on. Thankfully modern progress wasn't allowed to completely overtake this extraordinary region. The historic sites and villages are pretty much untouched as to what visitors would have seen a hundred years ago. The roads are still narrow and hedged while winding between seaside villages and historical landmarks. Plan to give yourself plenty of time for the travel portion of your sightseeing day. We also highly recommend having already downloaded maps to your device as you really will have to unplug and enjoy the journey.

Port Wenn/Port Isaac Early morning walk DOC MARTIN FILM LOCATIONS
Join us as we get up early to explore Port Wenn, otherwise known as Port Isaac! We discover what it is like to walk around the village when it is quiet in the early morning sunshine and watch the fishermen preparing for their day.
If you're a fan of the TV series Doc Martin, you will recognise a lot of the locations and scenery from the show. Being up early is our opportunity to wonder around Port Wenn before fans and visitors arrive. We visit the Doc's surgery, Mrs Tishell's chemist, the village school, Bert's cafe and the Crab & Lobster pub.

Doc Martin filming locations
This video says where the ITV Drama Comedy or Sitcom was filmed. Most of it was filmed in Port Isaac (or Port Wenn as it is known in Doc Martin) but there are some parts like Weddings that are filmed outside of Port Isaac. All the churches that were on this video should be open (as they always are) but we do not know if they have decided to lock their church or someone has stolen from it so it has to be locked. If you do know please could you leave it in the comments. Please also remember that County Hall is the base for Cornwall County Council and is a Private building but you can look around with permission from the council.

Doc Martin's house
This video is of Fern cottage at Port Isaac, near Wadebridge, Cornwall, UK. Fern Cottage is better known as Doc Martin's house because it is where Doc Martin's surgery is in Port Wenn on the ITV show Doc Martin. A lot of buildings are built the same as Fern Cottage around this part of North Cornwall. One of them is Penrose Methodist chapel, a few miles away over the River Camel. The chapel is built out of a sort of slate wall with bricks around the windows and a Delabole slate sign saying the name of it, the same as at Fern cottage.

Marzą nam sie wakacje pod znakiem van life, solidny camper i wolne podróże kamperem bez planu.
