Alternate Layout - Grand Floridian NEW Resort Studio Room Tour - Standard View - New DVC Villas
This is a full room tour of a brand new Resort Studio with a standard view at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, but this particular room has a slightly different layout from the other Resort Studios (seen here: This is a Disney Vacation Club room, and is a brand new room type found only at this resort.
There are only 4 rooms in the entire building with this alternate layout, and they are 9214, 9314, 9414, and 9514.
The Resort Studio sleeps up to 5 adults and is a really good size for everyone. The bedroom has a 2 queen sized beds, and a twin sized day bed. There is a small kitchenette that has a beverage cooler, a Keurig, and a microwave.

Grand Floridian Walt Disney Suite - Full Room Tour
We were very excited to be able to tour this gorgeous suite. The Walt Disney Suite is located in the Main building of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Walt Disney World, and guests there will be able to enjoy club level services.
When you walk into the suite, you enter the dining area with a dining table and wetbar. Proceeding further into the room crosses into the living area with a with comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV. There are entries to the balcony from the living area and bedrooms.
The main bedroom features a large walk-in closet, full bath with soaking tub and separate shower and toiler room. The second bedroom has two twin beds and also has a full bath with a shower/tub combination. The room will sleep 4 adults with plenty of storage areas to keep all of your luggage and things.

August 23 - Day 3: Universal Orlando, Disneys Grand Floridian Resort Studio Room Tour & Ohana Dinner
Today we check out of Cabana Bay, leaving the Universal Orlando Resort area for the mouse, down the I4. But not before enjoying a fun packed morning in Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
We take you on a nostalgia walkthrough of the Film Vault Motion Picture Memorabilia shop in Universal Studios to check out the merchandise for classic movies such as Jaws, Back to the Future, and Ghostbusters.
Then we head on a magical voyage from London, to Diagon Alley, where we explore all the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has to offer, both Universal Studios side, and then via the Hogwarts express, on Islands of Adventure side, in Hogsmead.
The rain, or monsoon, halts play and we divert down the I4 to Walt Disney World, where we check in for our 18 night stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
We take you on a tour of room 9214, in the new DVC building. A coveted turret resort studio room with standard view. Before jumping on a boat launch to the Polynesian Village Resort for our advanced dining reservation at Ohana.

Welcome to my Resort Studio Tour video! Sean and I have been DVC Members since 2013 (with Animal Kingdom Lodge & Aulani as our home resorts) and this stay means we've officially stayed at every Disney Vacation Club Resort at Walt Disney World. Woohoo! ???? We still need to stay at Hilton Head and Vero Beach and the upcoming new Disneyland Villas.
The Resort Studios are in the Big Pine building at Grand Floridian. I didn't realize until we arrived that it was still part of the original DVC for Grand Floridian - I thought it was like how Wilderness Lodge was set up (2 separate contracts at Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek). I love that there is now more room availability for DVC members at this popular DVC resort.
The new inventory are all Resort Studios with an elegant Mary Poppins theme. I love how bright and airy the room felt and how the Big Pine building made us feel more attached to Grand Floridian whereas the DVC Grand Floridian feels like you're in your own separate world (not that that's a bad thing).
As much as I loved the Resort Studio, I'd personally choose a Deluxe Studio if it was available. The Deluxe Studio has the split bathroom setup and also has a kitchenette. See my original Deluxe Studio Tour at Grand Floridian (I made it back in 2019 so I apologize for the cringe ????)
