Following the excitement of my first day on the road, I continued my journey East from a little town called Kucevo located in Eastern Serbia, where I stayed the previous night. Heading toward the mountainous areas, I was anxious and excited to see what rural Serbia had to offer. This is my personal favourite video from Serbia. I started my journey from Kruševac made my way to Jastrebac mountain, stopping for a sip of spring water. I then continued my journey to Kopaonik mountain. Before reaching my final destination, I encountered unexpected interactions with a priest who fed me and a man on the street whom I gave a lift. The heat from the direct sun exhausted me so I decided to make a stop in Brus town before staying in a Ribari village. I was blown away by the accommodation Vila Djordjevic that I accidentally found on the internet:

Wild Camping SERBIA | Full of BEARS: Tara National Park
Why do we do these stupid things!? Tara National Park is Wild and Wonderful, full of nature including bears, wolves, wildcats and even a couple of idiots in a tent. In todays video we explore this beautiful place, leaving behind the comfort of our van and opting for a night in the woods in our tent.
Tara is located in Western Serbia, at almost 200km2 of stunning forest land and waters its not hard to believe this is where Serbia homes it's densest population of bears and other wildlife. We have absolutely fallen in love with this place, and really recommend people come and check it out for themselves!
Exploring Serbia in our home on wheels has been magical, we really hope this inspires more people to come check out this beautiful country.

The journey to Tara National Park | What the countryside in Serbia is like
This is the first time I was able to get deep into the heart of Serbia to discover what the interior of the Country is like. To explore the rugged mountain ranges and take in the scenic vantages while being on the ground. It was truly a wonderful experience. It was so close to resembling the Pacific Northwest in the USA, I almost felt I was there. I had heard from many travelers how beautiful Tara National Park was, but until you see this place first hand, it is hard to imagine. I had been on a hike with another foreigner to explore the area. It was about a 3-4 hour bus ride from Belgrade to Užice by taking two buses. The entire trip was about 4.5 -5 hours and cost about $10-$12 USD. Then I rode a taxi to the top of the mountain to see the vantage of amazing Tara National Park in all of its glory. Check it out!

One of the most beautiful places in the whole Serbia. Pure nature, peace, and silence, fresh air, kind of wild spirit all around. For me great also because there isn't a lot of commercial stuff like in other big cities. You can enjoy walking, hiking, climbing, or just driving through the national park. Really great place, with couple of great points with amazing views of the lake and river.
