Les habitants de la République togolaise célèbrent les cycles de vie et les saisons dans le cadre de leurs rituels. Certains des festivals incluent;

map of Togo [ Africa ]

Togo , officially the Togolese Republic (French: République togolaise), is a country in West Africa. It is bordered by Ghana to the west, Benin to the east and Burkina Faso to the north. The country extends south to the Gulf of Guinea, where its capital and largest city Lomé is located. Togo covers 57,000 square kilometres (22,008 square miles), making it one of the smallest countries in Africa, with a population of approximately 8 million, as well as one of the narrowest countries in the world with a width of less than 115 km (71 mi) between Ghana and its eastern neighbor Benin, which is also quite narrow, except for its northern parts.

From the 11th to the 16th century, various tribes entered the region from all directions. From the 16th century to the 18th century, the coastal region was a major trading center for Europeans to purchase slaves, earning Togo and the surrounding region the name The Slave Coast. In 1884, Germany declared a region including present-day Togo as a protectorate called Togoland. After World War I, rule over Togo was transferred to France. Togo gained its independence from France in 1960.] In 1967, Gnassingbé Eyadéma led a successful military coup d'état after which he became president of an anti-communist, single-party state. Eventually, in 1993, Eyadéma faced multiparty elections, which were marred by irregularities, and he won the presidency three times. At the time of his death, Eyadéma was the longest-serving leader in modern African history, having been president for 38 years. In 2005, his son Faure Gnassingbé was elected president. He continues to hold the office as of 2021.

Togo is a tropical, sub-Saharan nation, whose economy depends highly on agriculture, with a climate that provides good growing seasons. While the official language is French, many other languages are spoken, particularly those of the Gbe family. The largest religious group consists of those with indigenous beliefs, and there are significant Christian and Muslim minorities. Togo is a member of the United Nations, African Union, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, South Atlantic Peace and Cooperation Zone, Francophonie, and Economic Community of West African States.Togo has an area equal to 56,785 km2 (21,925 sq mi) and is one of the smallest countries in Africa. It borders the Bight of Benin in the south; Ghana lies to the west; Benin to the east; and to the north, Togo is bound by Burkina Faso. Togo lies mostly between latitudes 6° and 11°N, and longitudes 0° and 2°E.

The coast of Togo in the Gulf of Guinea is 56 km (35 miles) long and consists of lagoons with sandy beaches. In the north, the land is characterized by a gently rolling savanna in contrast to the center of the country, which is characterized by hills. The south of Togo is characterized by a savanna and woodland plateau which reaches a coastal plain with extensive lagoons and marshes.

The highest mountain of the country is the Mont Agou at 986 metres (3235') above sea level. The longest river is the Mono River with a length of 400 km (250 miles). It runs from north to south.

Climate
Main article: Climate of Togo
The climate is generally tropical[12] with average temperatures ranging from 23 °C (73 °F) on the coast to about 30 °C (86 °F) in the northernmost regions, with a dry climate and characteristics of a tropical savanna. To the south, there are two seasons of rain (the first between April and July and the second between September and November), even though the average rainfall is not very high.[citation needed]

Flora and fauna
Togo contains three terrestrial ecoregions: Eastern Guinean forests, Guinean forest-savanna mosaic, and West Sudanian savanna. The coast of Togo is characterized by marshes and mangroves. High human population growth is leading to rapid deforestation, endangering many species. The country had a 2019 Forest Landscape Integrity Index mean score of 5.88/10, ranking it 92nd globally out of 172 countries.

At least five parks and reserves have been established: Abdoulaye Faunal Reserve, Fazao Malfakassa National Park, Fosse aux Lions National Park, Koutammakou, and Kéran National Park. The most frequently observed animals are giraffes, cape buffalo, hyenas, and lions. Few elephants remain. Common birds are storks and cranes. mapa de Togo Africa

TOGO'S UNTOLD STORY: THE AFRICA YOU NEED TO SEE ???????? ????????????????????????????????

THE TOGOLESE REPUBLIC

When you travel across west Africa and take time to explore her cities, you begin to really appreciate how great Africa is.
Until 1884 what is now Togo was an intermediate zone between the states of Asante and Dahomey, and its various ethnic groups lived in general isolation from each other. Many people still believe Togo is that underdeveloped, underrated & poor countries of those days, the country has been underrated for so long and I’m here to show you what Togo is like in 2023 and to change that ill perception on what you have heard about this beautiful country.

I started this tour from the outskirts part of Lome. I am here heading to the business district and mostly important tourist attractions in this video.

Today Lomé is Togo's largest city and the economic, administrative and industrial center of the country. It is the chief port of the nation. Lomé's port is situated to the east of the city.

Togo’s economy largely depends on agriculture, and its tropical climate provides good growing seasons and an abundance of fresh fruit. Along with its open-air farmers markets with high-quality local produce, the capital features western style supermarkets. Lomé features a variety of international cuisine, including American, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Senegalese, German, French, and Italian restaurants in addition to delicious seafood and Togolese fare.
While the official language is French, Togo’s inhabitants also speak indigenous languages. More Togolese are learning English each year, with the assistance of the embassy’s public affairs programming.

As the newest member of the UK commonwealth, English language Education in Togo is provided through both public and private schools, and there are also a number of of language institutes and centers that offers English language programs that provides language instructions to people who who may not have access to formal schooling.

Why Africans Are Selling All Properties For European Dream That Does Not Exist. African Diaspora.

Safe 30 Euro or $31 If You Use This Promotion Code FABIANO53 When Sending Money Via WorldRemit App to Your Love Once and Family.

In this video i have outline the reason why selling your property just to travel to Europe or the United states might be an error for most Africans irrespective of their nationalities. The economies of Africa is one of the fastest growing in the world with countries like Senegal, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Togo as Africa is projected to grow in population according to African Union and United Nations figures to 2030. This means one of the largest economic market and business opportunities will be in Africa with the African middle class expected to expand and the African continent free trade area. With more international flights like Brussels airlines, AirFrance, Kenyan airways, Ethiopian airlines flying to Africa to international airports in Accra, Douala, Kotoka airport bringing businesses from all over the world. African in the continent should start seeing Africa as a place which is not only home but a place where life begins and end. With that in mind, there is no ready why Africans should be selling their properties and moving to Europe, United states or to Asia countries.
