Guided Walking Tour of Jaco Costa Rica | Main Street

Hey beautiful people! Please subscribe to our channel!
Follow us on Instagram

This video was taken on the afternoon of Friday, March 11th, 2022 and shows Jaco's busier downtown areas on avenida Pastor Diaz, Jaco's main street. It is our first guided, narrated walking tour and we hope you enjoy it.

We start by walking south along the east side of avenida Pastor Diaz, Jaco's main street, at calle Bohio. We continue through Jaco's main intersection (calle Lapa Verde and avenida
Pastor Diaz) until we reach the Jaco Walk Shopping Complex. We take a quick walk through the open air restaurant area before crossing busy traffic on avenida Pastor Diaz and proceeding north. We continue north on Avenida Pastor Diaz passing through most of that street's commercially busy areas before turning on calle Anita and heading to the beach.

Please let us know in the comments below if you like this kind of content or if you have local Jaco business and want to be featured in our videos.

8 Reasons Why Americans LEAVE Costa Rica [Why I Left]

The TRUTH about living in Costa Rica: Why do so many Americans leave Costa Rica after moving there? In this video, I explain what causes expats to change their minds about retiring abroad and why I left Costa Rica after 8 years. Some of the initial reasons that people want to move to Costa Rica include the moderate climate, laid back lifestyle, fresh and healthy food, friendly people, beaches, medical tourism, and the low cost of living. But is Costa Rica really a safe and friendly country or is it actually dangerous and expensive? Once they arrive, many people realize that living in Costa Rica wasn't quite what they expected. Unfortunately, that results in people returning home quite soon after arriving.

After helping more than 500 foreigners move to Costa Rica and living there for eight years, this video explains the top reasons why people move back to the USA and why I left, too, so that you know more about what to expect BEFORE you get there. This is the real and sometimes dark truth about living in Costa Rica. What do you think are the biggest pros and cons of living in Costa Rica? Let us know in the comments.

Manuel Antonio Costa Rica Discovery Beach House - Beach Vacation Rental

Manuel Antonio Costa Rica Discovery Beach House Beach Vacation Rental ( The Discovery Beach House is one of only four vacation rental homes located directly on the beach in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Renting a car is unnecessary because this beach house is ideally situated within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, groceries, and the national park. Buses and taxis are readily available.

Owners Evelyn and David are conservationists and built their eco-vacation villa with underground cables, a private waste treatment plant, and an ongoing plan to reduce their carbon footprint. Their beach home reflects their travel experiences and is decorated with photos, masks, and other artifacts from Borneo, Rwanda, Peru, Thailand, Bhutan, and many other countries they've visited.

This 3 bedroom, 4 bath home sleeps 6-8 people and is perfect for family vacations, couples escapes, weddings, reunions, and girlfriend getaways. The property was once part of the national park but fell outside the boundaries when they were legally established in the 1970s. However, no one told the wildlife, so you're likely to see three kinds of monkeys, two kinds of sloths, and other wildlife most every day.
