Stay tuned, some great projects are on the way !

My two sisters, my dad & I were in this country during the winter. In the month of February. We spent 10 days exploring as many places from west to east by the south in our Defender.

Iceland is an incredible country.
Certainly one of the most beautiful countries I visited. The landscapes are so wild, the weather is so changeable. There are no noises, only the sounds of nature. I advise this country to all wildlife and nature lovers. We will be back soon!

Born from the fiery womb of the earth, and shaped by glaciers, tempests, and swells, Iceland bears a likeness to the earth when it was young - a boisterous spirit, untamed and running wild. Combining the inhospitable plains of the central highlands with moss-adorned river canyons and massive ice sheets, Iceland is the crown jewel of our planet’s rich treasures.

Flying a drone in Iceland:
Please be aware that restrictions on flying drones in Iceland apply. As an example, flying in national parks requires you to obtain a license. Read more about that here: If you intend to fly a drone in Vatnajökull National Park, make sure to apply through

Please understand, that we obtained such a permit to shoot in Vatnajökull National Park. In general, be mindful of other visitors and do not disturb their experience by flying a drone directly above their heads. This is both dangerous and extremely ignorant. Don’t be this guy.

Real Talk:
Despite our attempt at keeping our Iceland Travel Documentary as authentic as possible, you are still watching a highlight reel. When editing, we naturally tend to choose the most exciting clips. What you don’t see are the hours spent driving through less spectacular landscapes or some of the challenges we faced.

Full Disclosure:
This trip was entirely self-funded. However, we participated in two complimentary whale-watching tours with North Sailing.

Discover Iceland - dokument

Soliści - podróże poza utartym szlakiem, who?!

Cześć!

Jesteśmy Klubem Podróżników. Nie jesteśmy biurem podróży, a paczką przyjaciół. Kochamy podróże i zdecydowanie nie potrafimy usiedzieć w miejscu. Soliści są inicjatywą, dzięki której zwiedzamy świat i pokazujemy go innym. Daleko nam do wycieczek all inclusive i siedzenia nad basenem. Zdecydowanie bardziej wolimy przemierzać świat z plecakiem i przeżywać niespodziewane przygody.

DISCOVER ICELAND in March - (Reykjavik, Northern Lights, Secret Lagoon & The Golden Circle tour)

Making the most of our short get away to Iceland (back in 2019)

Booking tours was the BEST way to make the most out of visiting ICELAND for only 2 full days.

Arriving late afternoon and getting our coach to the accommodation we booked in Reykjavik, our experience really started when we departed on a Northern Lights tour that evening. Over half way to our destination point we were told by our guide that they were expecting cloud and although they would do their best, it was very unlikely we were to see the aurora borealis that night. During the coach journey itself the tour guide was telling us all about the science behind the lights as well as local myths and legend which alone was worth the money. Then suddenly, at a point not marked as a stop for our tour, the driver was asked to pull over as the guide was seeing signs of the Aurora appearing... and there they were! To the naked eye they look nothing like the photographs but they were breath-taking none-the-less. I did my research on my camera settings on the way, unfortunately I could not capture anything on video but I am thrilled that I did manage to get the photographs I did.

If was a tough decision to make whether to visit the famous Blue Lagoon or the lesser known Secret Lagoon. After reading plenty of blog posts and price being an important factor, we went with the Secret Lagoon & both felt like we DEFINITELY made the right decision! With less of a crowd and seeing more of Iceland's beautiful landscape while submerged in the perfectly hot natural spring, we really didn't want to leave!

There are a few different Golden Circle tours you can book, varying in length and additional activities. Our tour took us to Þingvellir National Park, Iceland's Great Geysir & Strokkur Hot Springs and Gullfoss Waterfall (Plus a short stop at the Icelandic Horse Park, Fákasel, to meet the Icelandic Viking horses)

Our accommodation also came with free entry passes to the local Aurora Museum. The museum itself was very small but packed with interesting information and ended at a wonderful gift shop with a VR experience and local artworks to purchase.

There are still MANY things we weren't able to see during this short visits but have even more reason to go back again one day.
Iceland, you are a blessing.
