Digging For TACOS!! ???? ???? BBQ PIT to MOUTH Mexican Food in California, USA!

Rancho Sabor ( - Huge thank you to Rancho Sabor - Sandra and Doug - for sharing with us an amazing farm to table Mexican food culinary experience. They cook everything from scratch the traditional way, most ingredients right from their backyard. The location is beautiful and the food is fresh. Don’t miss Sandra’s award winning guacamole! #MexicanFood #California #tacos

The Perfect Taco - What is the perfect taco? That is a serious and extremely challenging question - because there are so many variations and your personality that can affect what is the best taco to you. But Jeffrey Merrihue had an idea that the best taco is the freshest taco. So at Rancho Sabor in California, he arranged to cook a full goat, and have tortillas and salsa made exactly at the same time as pulling the goat out from the underground oven to have the fastest simultaneous taco in the world - or the Perfect Taco.

While it may or may not have been the most perfect taco in the world, one thing is for sure, it was a lot of fun, we hung out with great people, and the food was extraordinary delicious.

Thank you again to Sandra and Doug from Rancho Sabor. They do courses and events about authentic traditional Mexican food and culture at their amazing ranch in Rainbow, California.

The Ultimate MEXICAN STREET FOOD TACOS Tour of Mexico City! (ft. La Ruta de la Garnacha)

►Subscribe to Lalo’s channel:
►T-shirts available now:

Welcome to the best tacos in the world - the ultimate guide to Mexican street food tacos in Mexico City!

I met up with Lalo from La Ruta de la Garnacha ( he’s from Mexico City, he makes videos about street food as well. And he took me to his favorite tacos in all of Mexico City. We each ate the most tacos in one single day that we’d ever eaten in our lives, and it was the greatest taco day of my life!

Here are all the places we ate in this video:

Tacos Joven - They are known for their tacos de canasta, which are basket tacos, famous in Mexico City. They are served from a basket, and they keep hot the entire day as they are served. The highlight here was the chicharrón taco with chicharrón salsa.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco

Taqueria El Abanico - This is Lalo’s favorite restaurant in Mexico City for carnitas, the wildly popular braised pork taco. The entire rib in my taco was the highlight, so tender and flavorful.
Price - 20 MXN ($1.08) per taco

El Pescadito de Sonora - Originating from Hermosillo in Sonora, El Pescadito serves Mexican seafood tacos, especially shrimp or marlin tacos. Their tacototo is a taco that will change your life. This was as good as food gets for me.
Price - 35 MXN ($1.89) per taco

Tacos Charly - When it comes to Mexican street food, suadero is one of the greatest, a massive pan of slow braising beef in its juices. When you order your tacos, they slice up the meat, dip your tortilla in the fat, and you eat it with onions, cilantro, and salsa - pure meat heaven.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco

Taqueria Los Güeros - Tacos de tripa, intestines, are very popular in Mexico City as well. They may not be the most pretty tacos, but they are immensely flavorful and have all sorts of different textures going on in your mouth.
Price - 13 MXN ($0.70) per taco

Tacos Los Juanes - This is a great Mexican street food restaurant in Mexico City that serves all sorts of different tacos. We came for the tacos de cabeza and tacos de lengua, both of which were fantastic
Price - 10 MXN ($0.54) per taco

El Vilsito - For Mexican street food in Mexico City, the ultimate taco, the most loved by everyone is no doubt, Al Pastor. Cooked in the vertical spit, a technique brought over from Lebanese immigrants, Al Pastor is usually made with marinated pork that’s juicy and flavorful it might make you weep tears of joy. Lalo and I ordered, not just your ordinary tacos de al pastor, but the King of all tacos, the Gringa!
Price - 50 MXN ($2.70) each

Thanks again to Lalo from La Ruta de la Garnacha:

This was the greatest taco day of my life. Thank you for watching!

Mexican Street Food in Tijuana ???????? INSANE TACOS TOUR IN MEXICO ????(Part 2)

????Watch - Tijuana Street Food (Part 1):
????Thanks to Jeffrey Merrihue:
????100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:

Ultimate Mexican street food tour of Tijuana, Mexico (Part 2). This was actually the same day as Part 1, but there were so many tacos, I had to split the video in two. We continued this epic Mexican street food tour with seafood tacos, the original Caesar’s salad, carne asada, and the fastest taco maker in the world! #Tijuana #MexicanFood #streetfood

Thanks to my friend Jeffrey Merrihue ( for arranging this tour. When you’re in Santa Monica, go eat at his restaurant, Heroic Italian ( where you’ll find the best sandwich. Also, thanks to Scott Koenig: for setting this tour up.

Mariscos el Mazateño - Shrimp Enchilado - This place was absolutely amazing - and I knew it was going to be good when we walked in in the middle of the afternoon and it was packed. We had a couple different tacos, including the marlin with octopus, but the winner was the shrimp enchilado, a huge taco stuffed with spiced shrimp and cheese.

Caesar's Hotel - Original Caesar’s salad - Although this doesn’t fit in the Mexican street food theme, there was no way we could visit Tijuana without trying the original Caesar’s salad - where Caesar Cardini invented it. It was awesome, to see the entire process made before you and it was everything it needed to be, no more and no less. Must eat when you’re in Tijuana, Mexico.

Tacos El Vaquero - Carne Asada - This small stall late at night in Tijuana is a winner - their Sonoran style carne asada is out of this world. They grill up steaks of your choice, slice them up, into tortillas, and you have a choice of salsa. Absolutely stunning.

Tacos Fitos - Tijuana, Mexico - Finally, this is the tacos tall in Tijuana that we missed in the morning the day before because they had already sold out. But we came back the next morning. Not only are their Tijuana red oil birria tacos the best I’ve ever had, but their taco master is by far the fastest taco maker I’ve ever seen. Unbelievable, you will have dreams about Tacos Fitos.

That wraps up this insane ultimate Mexican street food tacos tour of Tijuana, Mexico. Thank you for watching!

Mexican Street Food ????????!! ULTIMATE TACOS TOUR ???? in Tijuana, Mexico! (Part 1)

????Mexican Street Food in Tijuana - PART 2:
????Thanks to Jeffrey Merrihue:
????100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:

Get ready for the ultimate Mexican street food tour of Tijuana, Mexico. I’ve never eaten so many tacos, and been so happy in a 14 hour period in my life. This is just Part 1, but Part 2 was the same day. Stay tuned! #MexicanFood #streetfood #tacos

Thanks to my friend Jeffrey Merrihue ( for arranging this tour. When you’re in Santa Monica, go eat at his restaurant, Heroic Italian ( where you’ll find the best sandwich.

San Diego, USA - The first part of this Mexican street food tour started in California, where we drove to the border and parked the car. This is the first time I think I’ve ever crossed a border on foot and gone straight to a street a food tour. All went smoothly.

Tijuana, Mexico - Welcome to Tijuana where a van was ready to pick us up and take us on this ultimate Tijuana street food tour. So happy to be back in Mexico. One of the best things about Tijauana is that it’s a city that attracts people from all over Mexico, and so you’ll find all regional variations of Mexican food.

Tacos Mike - Tijuana, Mexico - We started at a small stall outside a tire shop where they served all sorts of mixed tacos. I had the Taco de chile relleno, a chile stuffed with cheese and fried and covered in salsas.

Mariscos Ruben - We continued next to Marisocs Ruben, known for their unique small rolled tacos with cheese and marlin. They were unbelievably tasty

Aqui Es Texcoco - Tijuana, Mexico - Next we went to Paco’s restaurant, where they serve barbacoa, Texcoco style. It was amazing, and we also had the whole head, including some real deal eye tacos.

Xolo Tacos - Tijuana, Mexico - Next on this Mexican street food tacos tour, we went to Xolo Tacos to eat their insane bone marrow taco. It’s a birria taco, or a Tijuana red taco, but exploding with bone marrow.

Tacos El Gallito - Adobada Tacos - Next stop, we met up with Adrian Mejia - - to eat Tijuana adobada tacos from the trompo - the vertical shawarma style spit. Unbelievable.

Be sure to keep watching Part 2:

Most INSANE LAMB PIT BARBACOA - Mexican Food in Texcoco + AZTEC Pyramids, Mexico!

►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week:
►T-shirts available now:

From Oaxaca, we flew to Mexico City, and to begin our Mexico City food tour!

We landed at Benito Juárez International Airport and I had arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport to take us first to eat barbacoa - one of the ultimate of all Mexican meat dishes, and then on to go to the Aztec Pyramids of Teotihuacan.

We drove straight to a small town in the mountains called Texcoco. The hills around Texcoco are known for their barbacoa, Mexican style of barbecue. Even when I was in the US, I remember seeing little hole in the wall restaurant serving “Barbacoa estilo Texcoco,” Texcoco style Mexican barbacoa - so it’s famous for this dish.

El Pica I - The restaurant I wanted to try was El Pica I, and even in this small mountain town, the restaurant was absolutely bumping - there was a meat party happening. You could smell the aroma of the lamb as we drove in. You choose a table, and you walk around and self serve your food. There are many Mexican foods to eat, but the real reason you come here is for the lamb barbacoa - the most insane lamb pit bbq! The meat is cooked in underground clay ovens, and when they open an oven it looks like they are opening a mine.

The lamb barbacoa was some of the most tender meat I’ve ever experienced. It was fatty and juicy and ultra flavorful.

Price - 800 MXN ($42.95) for 2 kg.

Teotihuacan - Stuffed full of lamb, we continued on to Teotihuacan, the ancient Aztec city, known for its giant pyramids. Unfortunately since we went on a Sunday, it was absolutely packed, so busy that we couldn’t even hike to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun because we ran out of time. But nevertheless, it was still worth visiting and it’s very impressive to see.

Entrance price - 70 MXN ($3.76)

Highlight of today for me was the insanely irresistible lamb barbacoa in Texcoco, WOW. Thank you for watching this Mexican food tour!

The Original Fish Tacos ???? ???? !! MEXICAN STREET FOOD in Ensenada, Mexico!! ????????

????Watch - Tijuana Street Food (Part 1):
????Thanks to Jeffrey Merrihue:
????100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:

Welcome to Ensenada, Mexico! Known for its port and cruise ships, Ensenada is a Mexican street food and seafood paradise. In this Mexican street food tour of Ensenada, we started with a moon fish soup, then headed to eat at one of the world’s best street food stalls, ate some smoked fish, and finally finished this tour with the original fish tacos. What a day of Mexican street food in Ensenada! #Ensenada #MexicanFood #streetfood

Thanks to my friend Jeffrey Merrihue ( for organizing this trip. And to Scott Koenig: and Paco Perez: for arranging this tour.

La Opah Del Güero - Moonfish restaurant - On our drive from Tijuana to Ensenada, in Baja California, we stopped just outside Ensenada to eat a unique and rare soup made from moonfish. It was delicious, and incredibly comforting.

La Guerrerense - Sabina Bandera is a culinary hero. Anthony Bourdain called her stall the best street food in the world, and he was right in every way. Her warm personality is what will first invite you in - she’s one of the friendliest ladies in the world. That paired with her unbelievable seafood combinations on top of tostadas and sauces your tongue can’t believe, and you truly have one of the best street food stalls in the world. It was unbelievable, I’m still dreaming about the tostadas at La Guerrerense.

Ahumadora Pacifico - Smoked Fish - Next we stopped around the corner for some Ensenada style smoked fish.

Tacos Fenix - Fish Tacos - Known for serving the original fish tacos, there is no way you want to miss this Mexican street food treasure in Ensenada. It’s simple and delicious and nothing more and nothing less than you want it to be. Fried fish, fresh tortilla, salsas, and cabbage.

Tacos Corona - Fish Tacos - Additionally, across the street, there’s another fish taco stall that some mentioned they loved as well. And so naturally we needed to try both. Tacos Corona were amazing, fresh fish, great tortilla, and again, a myriad of delicious salsas.

And that completes this amazing Mexican street food tour of Ensenada, it was an incredible day or dreamworthy tacos and tostadas.

San Diego Food Tour - MASSIVE BURGERS and CRAZY TOSTADAS in California, USA!

►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week:
►T-shirts and caps available now:

Thank you to my sister Pam and brother in law Derek for joining me on this food tour of San Diego, California! And during the video I said Oceanside once, but I meant *Ocean Beach. We were on a family vacation in California, but on one day, we decided to go on an ultimate San Diego California food tour. It was a lot of fun, and you’ll find all the information of all the places we ate below:

Breakfast at Northside Shack - We started off in the morning, and first headed to Northside Shack to try their highly rated açaí bowl. It’s a laid back kind of spot, and I ordered the $11 bowl which was the large size. The acai is frozen into a sorget, and then they layered it with granola, about 12 different kinds of fruits, and nuts and seeds. It was delicious and refreshing, great way to begin this food tour.

Hodad's - Probably one of the most legendary of all restaurants in San Diego, California is Hodad’s serving massive double bacon cheeseburgers, and classic American food. The original location is located in Ocean Beach, and it has so much character, plastered with graffiti and stickers. Derek and I each ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, which is a monster burger. It takes some strategy to eat, but it was well worth it. It’s a delicious burger, and I also really enjoyed the onion rings. Price - $14.25

Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill - Pam and Derek had been here before and they knew it was good, so it was a restaurant in San Diego that I was looking forward to trying. You stand in line, order at the counter, and then find a seat. They offer fresh fish of the day, everything very fresh. We started with some oysters and the main dish, which was the best dish of the meal for me was the blackened black seabass. Delicious food, one of the best restaurants I ate at in San Diego. Total price - $65.23

Communal Coffee - Next we stopped to have a quick avocado toast and coffee. It was my first avocado toast at a restaurant, and although it was a little dainty, it was pretty awesomely delicious, a real treat. Price - $26.02 for everything (I think 3 coffees and avocado)

Nine Seas Seafood - Home of the Crazy Tostada, this seafood food truck is a gem of Mexican seafood. We ordered a few ceviches, not knowing how enormous the crazy tostadas were. They were huge, and packed with just about “everything from the sea.” But not only were the crazy tostates huge and crazy, but they were delicious, especially loaded with salsa. Total price - $24.75 for everything

And that completes this San Diego food tour. It was an amazing day and the food was delicious!

TUCSON, ARIZONA - Welcome to Tucson, Arizona, a small city, with huge heart and a lot of delicious Mexican food. Today we’re going on an ultimate Mexican street food tour of Tucson, and I can’t wait to share all the food with you today!

Friends in the video:
???? Adam Lehrman: (
???? Jeffrey Merrihue: - Stop by at Heroic Italian ( in Santa Monica and say Hi to Jeffrey who is there most days!
???? Mexi Papa: @mexipapaadventures (

Here are all the street food stalls, trucks, and restaurants we ate at:

Taqueria El Rapido: - We started off with Taqueria El Rapido a laid back food truck selling a variety of different tacos. Mexi Papa ordered a combination taco for all of us, including asada, tripa, and cabeza, three wonderful different textures. It was a delicious taco and a great way to begin this food tour.

El Guero Canelo Restaurant: - Sonoran hot dogs are one of the most popular foods in Tucson, and there are many to choose from. We decided on El Guero Canelo as it’s one of the most legendary, historical, and because this restaurant has even received a James Beard award - an award winning hot dog. It didn’t disappoint, a delicious creation.

Rollies Mexican Patio: - Next up for a modern twist to local Tucson Mexican food - Rollies. We had rolled tacos, flat enchiladas, carne asada fries, birria tacos, and birria ramen. You could taste the quality and amazing flavors. Great laid back spot with delicious Mexican Tucson style food.

Cocteleria La Palma Mariscos: - When you have the meat sweats, head over to Cocteleria La Palma Mariscos for their ceviche and coctels. The mix of seafood was extremely refreshing and perfect for the hot afternoon in Arizona. I also thought their ceviche shrimp tostada was fantastic.

Tacos De Cabeza Estilo Cajeme: - Finally, probably one of my favorite places on this Mexican street food tour and favorite places in Tucson is Tacos De Cabeza Estilo Cajeme, where they specializes in head and tongue tacos. The owners are extremely friendly and their tacos will melt in your mouth.

And that completes this ultimate Mexican street food tour in Tucson, Arizona. We all really enjoyed it. Tucson has so much character, unique food, and friendly people.

After an insane Mexican street food tacos tour of Tijuana, we continued south in Baja California to Popotla - a fishing village teeming with every fresh seafood you can imagine - including giant spider crabs, also known as Martian crabs. Before leaving Tijuana we had some amazing seafood breakfast, and continued to eat legendary carne asada, finishing off with an epic crab and seafood meal. #Mexico #MexicanFood #streetfood

Thanks to my friend Jeffrey Merrihue ( for organizing this trip. And to Scott Koenig: and Paco Perez: for arranging this tour. Thanks to Sebastian: for hooking us up in Popotla.

Mariscos El Paisa ( - Tijuana, Mexico - But first, in the morning before leaving Tijuana, we thought it would be a great idea to get started eating some seafood to get warmed up. At Mariscos El Paisa (Mariscos El Conchal del Paisa), their crab tostadas are out of this world, and we had an amazing fresh seafood shellfish cocktail as well. Amazing place to eat when you’re in Tijuana.

Tacos El Yaqui - Perrones Tijuana - Then on the way to Popotla, further south in Baja California, we stopped at Tacos El Yaqui for legendary carne asada. Their huge tacos were amazing.

Mariscos La Estrella ( - Popotla, Mexico - But the real highlight of the day was arriving to Popotla for the amazing seafood. The fishing village community is a full seafood market where you can get anything from the sea. But the big ticket is the spider martian crabs. At Mariscos La Estrella, she fried them up, simple and extremely delicious. When you go to Popotla, go say hi and have a meal at Mariscos La Estrella as she is rebuilding her restaurant!

Oaxaca also has some very unique street food that we had to try on our Mexican street food tour, like the vinegary piedrazo, and the savoury and tasty grasshopper filled chapulines tostada. Such interesting tastes and flavours in Oaxaca make for quite a delicious cuisine.

To finish up exploring the must try street food in Oaxaca, Mexico, we tasted one of the most iconic dishes of the city, tlayudas. Here we had a tlayudas BBQ feast, full of the local tasajo and so much tasty and flavourful tlayudas. This is Oaxacan Mexican street food at its finest.

We hope you enjoy exploring some of the must try street foods in Oaxaca, Mexico, with us. Especially the tlayudas bbq feast and enmoladas, super tasty Oaxacan Mexican street food. Stay tuned next week for more street food adventures!

►Dinosaur Size Crispy Pork Skin in Tijuana Market, Mexico :

#mrtaster #tacos #mexico

On my last report from Mexico, we saw colorful tortillas, ate scallops, tasted a big jackfruit, and on our way back to America, we went to taste sheep's head!
Tijuana Mexico tourist market was a very good market, this isn't the local market and it is mostly touristic, you can buy different foods, fruits, Mexican Coca-Cola, Jackfruit, various accessories here. There are many stores here, we saw tortillas in several colors, pink, green with different shapes that were interesting. We went to a cool food truck and we ate scallops. They were fresh. After cleaning them, they put them inside a plate, with fresh onions and lemons, which were very delicious. They made another item for us, which was served in a bowl of onion, cucumber, tomato, a pinch of salt, pepper and fresh lemon juice, mixed well with oysters and avocado. This is an exciting combination and was poured into a cool stone bowl.
The combination of oysters, avocados is amazing. We also ate shrimp juice, it was very tasty, all shrimps have water inside their heads, which we drank. We also tasted the jack fruit that we bought. At first, it was hard to open, but we finally did it and was very delicious.

The trip to Mexico was over and we came back to America, where we came to Texcoco restaurant and we are going to have sheep's head. Iranians love sheep's heads. The sheep head tacos in Chulavista, is one of the strangest and most delicious tacos I've eaten in America. In fact, they used to make it in the same style as Iranian kale pache, and cut the ears, tongue, eyes, and meat of the head and eat it with tortilla bread and salsa sauce, which turned out to be very delicious. Other items include sausages made from blood, sheep's brains, real sheep's heads. They also served us ribs at the table, which was great.

American Food BBQ!! ???? DRY RUB RIBS + America’s Best Pulled Pork!! | JL Smokehouse!!

???? Street Food in Phuket:
???? JL Smokehouse BBQ:

JL SMOKEHOUSE BBQ - Welcome to Phoenix, Arizona, USA, and today we’re going to JL Smokehouse BBQ ( where James Lewis serves amazing BBQ! He is so passionate and knowledgeable about barbecue and I can’t wait for you to meet him in this video. Let’s go eat! #BBQ #Phoenix #Arizona

As soon as you enter JL Smokehouse you know it’s laid back and unique. JL as he calls himself, is the pitmaster, and knows his bbq. Although he offers brisket, chicken, sausages and an assortment of meats, his southern style bbq pork ribs and pulled pork are the true highlights and something you don’t want to miss. “I have the best pulled pork in the country,” says Lewis, and when you see how the entire pork shoulder melts on the smoker, you know it’s special. Before serving it, they chop it up coarsely and then squeeze on a generous amount of their legendary bbq sauce.

I ordered the slugger combo plate, which included six different bbq meats and a few sides, plus I got an entire rack of pork ribs. JL showed me how he seasons the ribs with his own recipe dry rub, then smokes the ribs bone side down - never ever flipping them over. The pulled pork was indeed the best I’ve had, so smoky, so ultra tender and bursting with flavor when combined with the tangy bbq sauce. JL mentioned that he didn’t like to classify his bbq into any US regions, but did mention that it’s influenced and similar to Memphis style bbq.

“Put Some South in Your Mouth!!” - JL Smokehouse!!

It was an amazing experience to hang out with JL for a few hours and learn about his process of BBQ and to eat an amazing BBQ meal. When you’re in Phoenix, Arizona, if you love food and BBQ, you’re not going to want to miss it.

???? WATCH We came to Oaxaca to Eat This!:

We started off our Mexican street food tour tasting something very Oaxacan for breakfast, tacos and consome. Tacos and consome are the ultimate breakfast in Oaxaca. Next up we went to a local place to try all things Istmo, including garnachas. Garnachas are a simple yet flavourful and delicious Istmo dish. Small yet packed with tasty flavour, garnachas make for a great mid-day meal, they also go very well with mezcal. Mezcal is a potent Mexican drink that we had to try! Similar to tequila, this is a must try Mexican drink, especially in Oaxaca, Mexico.

We continued our Oaxaca Mexico food tour tasting local nieves and a chicatanas flying ant taco. There are some unique tacos to try in Oaxaca, and the chicatanas taco is definitely a different Mexican street taco. As we explored for the best street food in Mexico, we came across the most popular street food in Oaxaca Tlayudas.

Tlayudas are something you must try in Oaxaca. No Oaxaca Mexico food tour is complete without trying tlayudas, one of the most popular foods to eat in Oaxaca. We visited a local hole-in-the-wall spot for a huge Tlayuda filled with Oaxacan tasajo and chorizo!

We hope you enjoy exploring the Mexican street food in Oaxaca City, from garnachas and mezcal to tlayudas and tacos. This was one epic Oaxaca Mexico food tour! Stay tuned next week for more street food adventures.
