Prem Ganapathy started a small-scale South Indian breakfast joint in Mumbai in 1992. He ran the show in a hand-drawn cart and a cooking stove, for which he paid a rent of AED 50 (Rs 1000) per month. In no time his business grew and he decided to turn his roadside stall into a mini restaurant.
