One NVR recorder:
The reason to get 8 channel is if you want to have more than four cameras, either now or in the future. If you know you want just 4 channels you can save by ordering a four channel NVR.
When we ordered the recorder, we added 2 Terabyte memory which they installed. We see that we have about two weeks of data by leaving four cameras on all the time. Therefore we think you'll be fine by adding just 1 Terabyte memory at time of order.

DIY Mini Windproof 4x10 Desert Green House
I am trying to get a backyard garden going but it gets very windy in my area sometimes upwards of 60 mph winds and will wind whip the plants to death as well as too much sun in the hottest part of year.
Here is my solution a heavy duty 4x4 post construction with 2x4 braces in the middle to handle the high winds in my area as well as being heavy enough to stay in place. I used a heavy duty 6 mil thick plastic cover to help windproof the structure. In the summer months I will add a 40% shade cloth to top to help the plants cope with the summer heat. I will eventually add 4 more of these 4x10 Windproof Green houses to our backyard garden to grow a variety of tomatoes, an herb garden and a salad garden with much more to come.

Finally installed the green house we've been waiting for.
LIGHT PAINTING ANIMATION: Here come the Orb Police
I created this animation sequence in an old train tunnel.
For the orbs I used two torches, each attached to a coloured acrylic tube; an orange one with a purple plastic tip and a purple one with an orange tip.
I would do one orb and then take a step closer to the camera and do the next. I'd use the same tool to do about 3 or 4 orbs and then I'd switch to the next tool and keep swapping colours as I moved through the tunnel.
On the ground in front of the camera I sat an LED moon lamp to illuminate the tunnel and graffiti.
All up I did about 55 orbs. My camera was set to an intervalometer so it was capturing shots every 35 secs.
Settings for each frame were:
10mm, f/4.5
ISO-400, 30secs

13. Badly Installed Spray Foam Insulation & Narrowboat Layout
I give a detailed discussion about how I plan to fit my narrowboat out and where I'll put what. I also talk about how poorly the insulation has been installed and how I'm tackling this huge task.
As I'm living aboard at the same time as the fit-out it's not a simple job. You need to move everything out of the way and then thoroughly clean up after every day.
I go through what I have in my narrowboat galley kitchen and why I want the saloon to have free standing furniture.
Finally, I start to fit the batons to the hull sides and use self-drilling wing tip screws to make the job easier.
