The main elements of the landscape are the emerald green ricefields, the untarnished jungle and the steep cliffs. Let us take a visit to one of the National Parks and meet the friendly Balinese people. The religion of the island is a unique mixture of Buddhism and Hinduism. The omnipresent temples and sanctuaries are important memories of the South-East Asian culture. Let us try the exotic hot dishes of the local cousine and the fresh juices of tropical fruits. Why You Should Travel to Peru by TourRadar

Are you seeking steep treks to conquer? Craving Peruvian delicacies such as cuy? Dreaming of adventure activities such as biking, riding and surfing? Are you on a tight budget? If yes, look no further than a journey to Peru. Explore the picturesque and historic sights of Peru including the magnificent ruins of Machu Picchu to Sandoval Lake, or the desert oasis of Huacachina. This impressive destination has something for everyone.

Before you start planning your journey to Peru, there are a few things you need to know about health and safety. If you’re travelling anywhere near the Amazon, it’s imperative that you get yourself vaccinated for Yellow Fever and take some malaria medication. As for altitude sickness, if you’re trekking to Machu Picchu, you will need to allow for a few days in Cusco to adjust to the lower levels of oxygen found at high altitudes.

If you want to learn more about conquering altitude sickness and what to pack, take a look at our guide to trekking Machu Picchu here:

As you’re researching and considering a trip to Peru, it is likely that your mind will wander to the question of whether it’s safe to visit. Fear not, as Peru is most definitely a safe destination, even for solo travellers. In Peru the crime rate is relatively low, with pickpocketing being the most common problem that travellers will encounter. As long as you employ basic travel precautions and keep your wit’s about you should reduce the likelihood of any unfriendly or dangerous encounters.

To make the most of your next adventure to Peru, consider booking a tour to ensure your trip is fun, informative and hassle-free:

Next, comes the best part – planning your itinerary. Naturally, most travellers will want to visit Machu Picchu, and for good reason, but there are a few more destinations you need to visit. At the Colca Canyon, you can explore the deep river canyons where you can enjoy a spot of rafting or go trekking through the diverse terrain of the surrounding area. Next, make time to visit Lake Sandoval where you will find a large jungle lake surrounded by different types of rainforest and wildlife. Another notable destination is Huacachina, a desert oasis surrounded by palm trees and believed to host therapeutic properties. Each of these astounding destinations will leave you with lasting memories.

Once you’ve decided where to go, the next most important part of the equation is when you should jump on a plane to Peru. If trekking is the number one reason for you to visit Peru, the best time to travel is during July to August when the weather is at its finest. If possible, avoid the rainy season from December to January as some roads and trails may be subject to severe flooding. If trekking is not for you, you can still travel through the rainy season but just make sure you pack your best waterproof gear.

By now you’re probably feeling eager and excited to learn more about Peru. The good news? It doesn't end here. Continue watching another one of our videos or visit us on Days to Come.

Welcome to PUERTO VIEJO! Costa Rica's Hidden Gem

Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a bit of an undiscovered beach town gem on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.

We spent a day showing you around starting out with our great open air AirBNB in the middle of the jungle just outside of the town.

We then heading into town, walking along Black Beach (Playa Negra), flying our drone while we go. On our way into town we discover in old barge in the water, sunken to create a breakwater.

After walking along the water for awhile, we head into town to get some lunch and find a cute cafe/bookstore called Cafe Rico.

Afterwards we head back to the water where we spot a sunken sailing ship just off the shore.

Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is a town in southeast Costa Rica, on the Caribbean coast. It’s known for the Salsa Brava surf break and beaches like black-sand Playa Negra. The Jaguar Rescue Center rehabilitates wild cats and other animals. Gandoca-Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge has rainforest, wetlands and mangroves. To the north, Cahuita National Park protects a large coral reef and has a shipwreck dive site.

Puerto Viejo is the largest tourist destination on Costa Rica's small Caribbean coast. Other nearby communities are Cahuita, Cocles, Punta Uva and Manzanillo . The vibe here is laid-back, Caribbean-style with a great diversity of people living here and visiting here.

Playa Negra, the paradise for surfers.

Known for its world-class waves and breaks, Playa Negra is a surfer's paradise. Famous as the filming location for the cult classic, Endless Summer II, this beach sits along the northwestern region of Guanacaste along the northern Pacific coast. But this small beach community has more to offer than just its surfing breaks. From great hotels, resorts and budget lodges to renowned cafes and local delicacies, Playa Negra has a little something to offer every visitor. Enjoy the laid-back Tico lifestyle here while escaping the hustle of other surf-centric communities along the Pacific Coast. Those staying here will also be just a short drive away from Marino Las Baulas National Park, which is a famous nesting ground for the leatherback turtles.

Bolivia by Thibaud Daveaux

We learned so much from the people of this remote fishing village, Air Putih. The kids had never seen a sailboat before and were overjoyed to show us their home. They taught us about the crops they grow, and what a clove tree plantation looks like.
???? If you enjoyed this video, please LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE to our channel, your feedback gets us noticed by YouTube and helps get the word out! Thank you.
We have met some incredible people and made friends around the world since starting this sailing adventure in 2006. But nowhere has stolen our hearts and moved us to tears quite as much as Air Putih. Hidden in a remote 'fjord' deep within the Anambas archipelago, this un-named village on Google Maps turned out to be a gem.

We watched artisans building a 'pom-pom' (fishing boat), learned the names of trees and fruits and had a guided tour of the local school. When we were served tea and coffee in the only shop they refused payment until we insisted.

Sailing in Indonesia is dangerous, according to people who have never been there. Living on a sailboat brings you into contact with all kinds of people, and without fail we have received the warmest of welcomes.

We love the people of the Anambas, and will treasure these memories for as long as we live.

Peace and fair winds!

Join us on our travels to Costa Rica! Costa Rica is by far one of our favorite destinations. Full of lush green, beautiful scenery everywhere you look. I absolutely would love to live there! People are super nice and laid back. You will be hooked the first time you experience this amazing destination. From waterfalls to active volcano. We rode horses, ATVs, went muddling and lounged in hot springs - we never wanted to leave.

This is part 1 of our travel to Costa Rica. We went to La Fortuna - Arenal. Best known for the most active volcano. We decided to stay in a 5 Star Hotel because it had wonderful reviews and has the best unobstructed view of the volcano day and night. It is absolutely majestic. The Springs Resort and Spa. It has won Travelers Choice 2018! The Bachelor was filmed in this hotel as well as episodes from Keeping up with the Kardashians.

There are amazing view of souring waterfall from a seventy meter cliff. Cataract de La Fortuna.

ATV for us has always been our favorite ways to see a vacation destination. We chose Power Wheels Adventures, top rated ATV tours. We chose the Monterrey Extreme Adventure Private ATV Tour...because you get DIRTY!!! You ride through farms, up to a viewpoint. Scenic-eye candy! Trekking through 400 acre lands on dirt trails. On the ranch you will travel up and down hills, through valleys and rivers. Must do while you are visit and looking for a little adventure.

This tour we went on was too fun!

Pura Vida! That is the way of life. I totally understand the phrase after vacationing there. I Absolutely love me some Costa Rica!

In part 2 of 4 we will take you with us to Jaco, Manuel Antonio, more ATV adventures, waterfall, cliff jumping...and the most amazing empanada in the canapes of the jungle...
