My Top 21 Best Beaches and Snorkeling in Curacao (In order from the south to the north)
I just got back from an an amazing trip to Curacao. Curacao is a small island in the Caribbean. These are my top 21 best beaches and snorkeling spots in Curacao. I’m going to start at the southernmost point and work my way up the west coast of Curacao to the northernmost point. The east coast of Curacao is mostly rocky so I’m not featuring any beaches on the east coast. I have also created a full video for each one of these beaches with more information including parking, fees, restaurants, ammenities, etc... I’m going to start at the beautiful remote island of Klein, Curacao. From there we went to Directeurs Baai, Tugboat Beach, Mambo Beach, Kokomo Beach, Daaibooi Beach, Playa Porto Mari, Can Abao Beach, Playa Largu, Playa Manzalina, The Blue Room Cave, Playa Santu Pretu, Playa Santa Cruz, Playa Lagun, Playa Jeremi, Kleine Knip Beach, Grote Knip Beach, Playa Forti, Playa Piskado, Playa Kalki, and Playa Gipy. Overall, we loved these beaches and highly recommend them on your next trip to Curacao. Just make sure you book enough time to hit all of these beaches. You won’t regret it!

CURACAO ISLAND BEACH TOUR! ???????? Blue water, beach pigs and cliff jumping.
We spent a day touring around the west side of Curacao to visit multiple beaches and sites on the west side of the island with Irie Tours. This is the perfect tour for you if you don’t want to rent a car and want an affordable and fun tour company to take you around the island. We started at Shete Boka National Park to see the incredible waves! We then went to Playa Piskadó where the fisherman bring their catch. There are also many snorkelers here. Next up we went just up the road to go cliff jumping in the crystal clear water. After that we go to visit one of the best beaches on the island, Grote Knip where we went swimming. Lastly we headed to Playa Porto Marie to have some lunch and lounge on the beach, where we also encounter some beach pigs!

Shete Boka Park:
This is an area adjoining the Christoffelpark covering more than 10 kilometers of the rocky wave-exposed north coast of the island and with some 10 pocket beaches where 3 species of sea turtles are known to lay eggs. The most well-known and favorite inlet for visitors is Boka Tabla. If you enjoy getting off the beaten track and into rugged countryside, you will love National Park Shete Boka. The park begins at stunning Boka Tabla, where huge waves thunder into an underground cavern. Steps cut into the rocks lead you directly into the mouth of the cavern; you can sit on the very edge and watch the surf roll in. After you peek inside the cavern you can walk along the limestone bluffs above for a spectacular view of Curacao's rugged north coast.
Playa Piskadó:
This tiny fishermen's beach is also popular for snorkeling and diving and has some good photo ops of the boats and nets. Manchineel trees provide some shade. A small snack bar is open on the weekend. Entrance to the water is somewhat rocky.
Grote Knip:
Grote Knip (also called Playa Abou in Papiamento, translation: Beach in a valley) is a beach on the Caribbean island of Curaçao, located at the western side of the island, between the villages of Westpunt and Lagun. The beach gives way to a small lagune between high rocks. It is freely accessible to the public. The beach is used as a starting point for snorkeling, due to the presence of a coral reef nearby.
Playa Porto Mari:
Playa PortoMari is a beautiful sandy bay to be found on the private estate of Plantages PortoMari at the west coast of the tropical island of Curacao (in the Caribbean). Its white coral sand beach with clear and calm water is a true paradise for water lovers. The unique ‘double reef’ is easily accesible from the shore providing a fascinating snorkel and dive site. For landlubbers, three nature trails (the Seru Matteo Trail, the History Trail and the Bird Trail) have their starting point at the beach’s parking lot. They are ideal for hiking but can also be conquered by mountain bike.

Cas Abao Beach, Curacao - Amazing Snorkeling and Crystal Clear Water
Cas Abou Beach is a beautiful beach located on the northwest side of Curacao. You have to pay to get in, but it's definitely worth it. You'll go through a guard gate, follow a winding dirt road to an unpaved parking lot. It has great snorkeling and soft sand.
Cas Abou, Curacao - Best Caribbean Beach 4K
Cas Abou in Curacao is one of the best beaches in the Caribbean and the world!
Cas Abou has perfect, ultra fine white sand and crystal clear turquoise water. A true tropical paradise located in a beautiful cove with stone cliffs and waving palm trees. Go for a relaxing swim or snorkel in the calm, warm waters of Cas Abou Beach.
It is located about 35 minutes from the cruise terminal in Willemstad. A taxi ride will cost about $15 per person round trip for a group of 4. There are no taxis waiting around the beach, so you must schedule a time for them to pick you up when you will want to leave.
The entrance to the beach has a very small fee of about $6 per car. There are lounge chairs under umbrellas that you can rent for a small fee.
The beach is pretty open and spacious and not very crowded. It doesn’t get much better than this beach! When you think of a tropical paradise, this is it!
