Looking For Food In Cuba During The Crisis ????????

???? HAVANA, CUBA (0.3)
Before I went to Cuba i didn't realise how hard it was going to be to find a meal. It's much easier to find a cold beer or a bottle of rum than it is the find a cold bottle of water. I headed south of old Havana to where the cuatro caminos market is to see what food i could find and met some friendly people on my day out.

Cuba #6: 15usd in Havana,????????Cuba~

In #6,I shared my experiences that how did I spent 15 usd which is about 1650 Cuban pesos in Havana,????????Cuba~And it is my last video about ????????Cuba in this time.(2022.04.06)

Welcome to ????????Cuba~

And attention again:

Dont change money in any Cuban bank when you arrive cause there are black market in Cuba now.

official rate is 1 usd to 25 pesos but it is 1 usd to 105 usd in the black market and 1 euro to 120 in the black market.which means you will waste 3 times money if you change your money in the bank place.

People will come to you once you arrive Cuba for changing money with you .for example in the old town of Havana there will be at least 10 or 20 people come to ask you if you wanna change money per day.

For more info just keep asking more trustable local people.be aware to be cheated by somebody.

CUBAN MONETARY REFORM EXPLAINED | Cuban economy | Cuban history | Cuba travel

The Cuban monetary reform is a bit of a different vibe compared to our usual videos! We’re digging into the topic so you can understand the economic context of the country when you visit.

The reform aims to dismantle the two-currency system which has been in place for 30 years as well as shore up the struggling economy. We’ll explain what the monetary reform entails, why is it is happening and unfortunately why we believe it is unlikely to have the impact Cuba needs.

Free Cuba 2021- How Communism has Crippled This Beautiful Caribbean Country

Want some insight on what it's like to live in Cuba for the Cubans that are struggling for their freedom?  In this video photographer Jason Lanier shares his experiences of traveling to Cuba 4 different times over the span of 2 years where he details the struggles that Cubans face related to daily supplies, freedom of speech, freedom of movement and more.

To see the images from Jason's travels to Cuba please visit:

This video covers Jason's trips where he has gone down there by himself and also with two photography groups that he lead down there.  It shows the true potential of this amazing Caribbean country, but also shows the struggles and poverty that exist in a country that time has left behind.

Jason's travels took him to the capital city of Havana, and into the more rural areas of this beautiful country that has struggled significantly under the yoke of the Communist Party in Cuba.  Recently the Cuban people have risen up to demand more freedoms and have called for an end to the Communist reign over their country.

We hope this video helps shed some light on what the people of Cuba are going through and we thank you for watching.

Cuba Crisis: Everything you need to know about the protests and the Cuban crisis | TrendPiler Report

Cuba is an island nation ruled by a communist government that exercises strict control over the economy and civil liberties. On Sunday, July 11, protests erupted across Cuba. Thousands of Cubans took to the streets to protest against the government and worsening living conditions; some have called the recent events the largest protest since the Cuban Revolution of 1950. The Cuban government has attempted to repress protestors following the protests by arresting and detaining people, and shutting down the internet. According to some, the protests marked a watershed moment for the country.

There are three reasons why the people of Cuba are protesting. The first Reason being Cuba's Economic Collapse. Cuba's state-controlled economy contracted by 11% last year, the worst loss in over three decades. Specifically, the epidemic and the decline in tourism — combined with U.S. sanctions and a meagre sugar yield worsen the economic catastrophe. In Cuba, individuals are now facing a food and medicine shortage. Another reason is Restrictions on civil liberties. protesters on Sunday chanted for liberty. A broad-based appeal for the abolition of Cuba's dictatorship and the advancement of civil liberties. Protesters might likely face jail time under Cuban law for participating in anti-government demonstrations. And last reason is the government's handling of the pandemic. Cuba recorded the largest number of new COVID-19 cases in a single day on Sunday – over 7,000 cases and 47 fatalities. Protesters called for a more rapid vaccination rollout to stop the epidemic.

Now we look at the reasons why did Cuba's economy collapse. Cuba's economic difficulties greatly fueled Sunday's protests. Economic collapse in the country has left an increasing number of people jobless and disgruntled by the government's failure to execute economic changes. A combination of decades-old U.S. sanctions and the Cuban government's failure to embrace market reforms have contributed to the country's economic collapse. When the COVID-19 epidemic struck, Cuba closed its borders and imposed a severe lockdown, which reduced tourism and wreaked havoc on an already precarious economy.

Now we look at how is the U.S. government responding to this scenario. Numerous U.S. officials have already expressed support for demonstrators and expressed fear about a government crackdown. The United States supports freedom of expression across Cuba and strongly condemns any violence or targeting of peaceful protestors exercising their universal rights. Sen. Ted Cruz expressed support for protestors through Twitter. President Joe Biden addressed the matter at a press conference and said that Cuba was a failing state, the government was and repressing its citizens. There are many things that the U.S. might consider doing to assist the Cuban people, but it would require different circumstances or a guarantee that they would not be taken advantage of by the government. Apart from Joe Biden, several other foreign leaders have expressed their support for the protestors and their cause.

This moment is different for the Cuban people. Cubans are looking even more determined this time. Yes, the government will threaten and do what it usually does — frighten people, prosecute them legally, and make them feel they cannot leave their homes. The demonstrations are by far the largest than anything organized by Raul and Fidel Castro. However, this was entirely spontaneous. There is no leader, no opposition organization capable of accomplishing such a task. It is vividly visible. Additionally, the protestors have been calm. Of course, some individuals broke into grocery stores and also destroyed some police cars. Nonetheless, the message from the public was unequivocal: Vandalizing food shops indicates that they are hungry and have no way of obtaining food. And by handing over the police cars, people are expressing their dissatisfaction with police mistreatment. The public has spoken loudly.

On an ending note, a U.S. military involvement is not an appropriate reaction. The Cuban people control their fate. And the moment a second nation and especially, intervention — enters the scene, it will not assist. The only solution to this problem is to give Cubans their rights. The other nations can help persuade Cuba's leadership that certain conditions must be met to drive things towards betterment. The Cuban regime is quite efficient at portraying itself as the victim at the world stage — the victim of the embargo, the victim of protests in Cuba, the victim of anything that earns sympathy, translating into money and help. This has to change. The international community must cease seeing Cuba's government as a victim. The aggressor is the Cuban government.

How dangerous is Cuba?

How dangerous is Cuba?
Crime and Scams. Most visits to Cuba are trouble free. Crime levels are low, and they are mainly in the form of opportunistic theft. ... Car-related crime and muggings occur rarely, not only in Havana but also in Santiago de Cuba and other areas.

Better Cuban Food Than Cuba?

Miami's Little Havana holds the rare (perhaps exclusive) distinction of being an expat neighborhood that has surpassed the motherland in terms of culinary importance (due to a variety of political and socio-economic factors that we wont get into here). We've been to big Havana and can attest to the fairness of that determination.

So join us as we show you around one of the most culinarily fascinating neighborhoods in one of the most culturally vibrant cities in the Unites States. As always, we're washing it all down with copious amounts of coffee and booze. #gobad
