Travel to Burkina Faso, and the best places to visit in an off the beaten path West African country that has safari (Nazinga, Tengrela), waterfalls (Karfiguela), wildlife (elephants, hippos), cultural festivals like FESTIMA, incredible music and dance (in Bobo Dialasso especially), nature parks (Domes of Fabredougou, Sindou Peaks), UNESCO ruins (Loropeni), exquisite culture (Grand Mosque) and unique architecture (tiebele). Don't be scared by the media - yes there is terrorist activity, but it's confined to specific parts. My Top 11 things to do in Burkina Faso are mainly away from the danger areas.
