VACATION COVID-19 SAFE:
Transportation:
Avoid public transportation when possible
When needed take the shortest most direct way
Wear a mask and eye covering.
Board last and sit closest to front if possible.
Keep healthy distance from others.
Minimize eating, drinking and using restroom.
Disinfect ALL surfaces!
Sanitize your hands after you touch anything.
Car trips and RV road trips are great option.
Be prepared to stop safely for gas and other necessities.
Bring disposable gloves/paper towels for touching anything, like gas pump.
Pack food, drinks and supplies to minimize stops
Accommodations:
Choose a rental or hotel where door opens to outside
Avoid indoor traffic and elevators when possible
Disinfect room completely when you arrive
Try to keep housekeeping and others out of your space during stay
Activities:
Outdoors is always best!
Hike, swim, walk, anything outdoors is great.
Avoid indoor attractions when possible.
Packing List:
Masks, gloves, disinfectant, sanitizer, soap, food, drinks, snacks any health or medical supplies your family uses regularly or may need.

62% of Americans who took vacations since March 2020 (when Covid-19 began) regret their trips. Not only are their extraordinary limitations—few places are open, 14-day quarantines, etc—the stress level of traveling during a pandemic is high. However, no matter where you go, some places are OK (like a very secluded beach), yet there are worst places to travel during Covid-19.
Now, if you do plan to travel, be smart about it, and check Travelbinger.com's 9-step guide to travel safely during Covid-19 to make sure you're on the right path, and pick a destination where you can freely navigate. In other words, don't pick one of these 5 worst places to travel during Covid-19.
The 5 worst places to travel during Covid-19
1. A destination that currently bans American travelers (or has U.S. restrictions).
Less than 20 countries currently allow Americans during Covid-19. Always check entry requirements. Remember, most countries, whether they are on the green-light list or not, will require some form of negative Covid-19 results.
2. A major city.
Not only do cities have high density populations, they are also the most strict on social distance and Covid-19 regulations. What this means is that if you go to a city, there's a chance the bars will be closed, restaurants will be closed, hotels will be closed, and attractions will be closed.
3. Anywhere that requires a flight.
The big concern about flying during Covid-19 isn't the plane: it's the airport. Airports are not required to let passengers know how many TSA staff have been infected with Covid-19. Passengers are not required to wear masks in airports either. Also, airports don't have the ventilation system of airplanes, so circulation is questionable.
4. Indoor places.
Covid-19 is known to spread easier indoors. It's why most establishments are shut down indoors (restaurants can serve along patios; bars can serve outdoors; etc). Also, do hotels even sound fun right now? Where you only have access to the lobby and your guest room in most hotels, and can't use the gym, pool, dine in the restaurant or grab a drink at the bar? Nope.
5. States where Covid-19 cases are increasing.
The New York Times does a great job of reporting states where Covid-19 cases are increasing and staying high. According to its data and chart, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama, Hawaii, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Idaho, Kentucky, Illinois, and Kansas are seeing new cases higher than the daily average with at least 15 new cases per 100,000 people over the past week (as of September 7, 2020). Naturally, these are among the 5 worst places to travel during Covid-19.

The travel industry trying to pick up the pieces of the severe impact the
coronavirus had on them, travelers are left with cheap flights, amazing hotel deals, and some countries even offering cash to cover entrance tickets to their most popular attractions. We’ve done all of the snooping and searching for you so you can see all the best destinations in one place.
7. Switzerland travel After the COVID 19 Pandemic
Switzerland launched the “Geneva Boxes” which are several packages that combine hotel stays, experiences, and entrance tickets to local attractions. The boxes have a wide range to include different experiences like a cookery workshop or a watch making class. They are suitable for different budgets and depending on which one you choose, you can save up to 65% by opting for a box rather than booking hotels and attractions individually.
6. Uzbekistan travel After the COVID 19 Pandemic
Uzbekistan launched their “Safe Travel Guaranteed” campaign as a way of reassuring travelers that the country was so confident in their extensive safety and hygiene measures that they were willing to put money where their mouth is. Visitors who contract COVID-19 during their visit will receive $3,000 as compensation. The financial incentive is there to show travelers that the country is so safe to visit, they were willing to cover your travel costs.
5. Sicily travel After the COVID 19 Pandemic
The Department of Tourism has launched an $84 million dollar “See Sicily” voucher program. Using regional government money, visitors will be able to apply for a refund for up to half of their flight costs and up to a third of their hotel expenses. Other aspects also include free and low-cost tickets to tourist attractions, museums, historical sites, and more. The program hasn’t
launched yet but you will be able to apply on the Visit Sicily website once it does.
4. Greece travel After the COVID 19 Pandemic
Greece has temporarily reduced their value-added tax (VAT) from 24% VAT to 13% VAT on all transport including flight tickets, train tickets, and bus tickets. This should encourage visitors since it would make it cheaper to visit and travel around Greece. Another post-pandemic travel incentive to keep in mind is that Greece has so many remote destinations within the
country that are both beautiful and off the beaten track, ensuring you can have a crowd-free vacation.
3. Maldives travel After the COVID 19 Pandemic
Maldives will also be the very first country in the world to offer a destination hospitality program - the Maldives Border Miles program. The three-tiered loyalty program for tourists will place them in either Aida (Bronze), Antara (Silver), or Abaarana (Gold) based on the number of points guests have. Points are earned based on the duration of stay, number of visits, special occasions, and may even integrate stays at certain hotels, dining at certain restaurants, and visiting certain attractions. Points could then be used for privileged immigration clearance, room upgrades, and other freebies during your stay.
2. Cancun travel After the COVID 19 Pandemic
The Cancun Hotel Association has launched a ‘Come to Cancun 2x1’ campaign which has several major perks for travelers. Visitors who purchase two tickets to Cancun will have one refunded back to them, thereby making it two for the price of one. You will also get two free nights of accommodation for every two nights you pay for. The same goes for car rentals - two free days for every two days paid for. The program will also include discounted tickets to museums and attractions including participating theme parks, golf courses, and spas.
1. Cyprus travel After the COVID 19 Pandemic
Visitors who fall ill from COVID-19 while visiting Cyprus will have their entire vacation costs covered by the government. This includes any expenses they have towards accommodation, food, or medicine use by the patient(s) or their family members should any of them test positive while on the island. This means that vacationers would only have to pay for their
transfer to the airport and for their flight home. I know it seems like it comes at the cost of getting sick but it also means that Cyprus is so confident in the precautions and safety measures they’ve taken that they’re willing to put money where their mouth is.

My 2021 Travel Plans | Where to Travel in 2021 | Niagara Falls Canada
Happy New Year, faves! We made it. As many attractions in Philly start to reopen and I began making a list of things to do in Philadelphia, I started thinking about my 2021 travel plans and some of the top travel destinations in 2021. Our pandemic lifestyle makes where to travel in 2021 and how to plan a vacation in 2021 different for sure. For my post-pandemic travel after COVID there are many things I considered. Although Iceland was at the top of my list, preparing to travel abroad isn’t in my immediate future for travel during COVID. So I thought about all of my 2021 travel destinations and decided on Niagara Falls Canada. After researching where to travel during COVID 19 and things to do in Niagara Falls Canada, I realized this would be an ideal destination for how to social distance and have fun while getting outside during quarantine.
