Mysterious Zongo falls are located about 135km away from Kinshasa, congo. The falls located inside Seli Safari research.
Located 130 kilometers (90 miles) from Kinshasa, Zongo Park provides a lovely setting & a spectacular scenery to the Zongo Waterfalls. The gorgeous 65m-high Zongo falls are one of DRC’s most spectacular sights. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Kisantu in the Bas Congo where the waterfall is located. Getting to the viewpoints involves some hiking, but watching the water roaring over the precipice into the river below is unforgettable. What makes Zongo waterfalls unique is the water vapor that rises to the sky when the river water hits the ground. If in dry season, you might go to the beach located 10 km away from the waterfall, there you could experience the massage waterfall.

England age 14 in 2007 I finally headed back home to my City of Birth Kinshasa and my Country Congo From the 12th of Jan to the 19th of Jan for a Special one week occasion my Childhood best friend of 23 years since we were 6 years old was getting married and chose me as his best man.
I said no covid no other plans or anyone could stop me to make this trip and it was amazing one of the best 1 week of my life I hope you enjoy it.

Bissau, Guinea Bissau Africa Ep.5. Gatecrashing A Traditional African Wedding in Guinea Bissau.
In the last episode while doing a random drive in Bissau city, we came across a group of people dancing in the streets. We later learnt that it was a wedding. In order to experience the culture and way of life we asked if we could follow them to wherever they were going. They agreed!
In this episode I'd love you to fillow us gatecrash a wedding in Bissau. ????????. What a life!
So we met them at the ministry of Justice building of which I guess the registrar of marriages is here.
The dancers were jamming to the beats as some people lay pieces of cloth at the entrance of the building for the newly Weds to walk on their way out.
The couple are escorted to their car with the dancers. Before they leave the dancers randomly sing and dance to passersby and the people around and they give the dancers some donations.
We then followed the couple to the man's house.
At the man's house there's more music dance and food. The couple get to the house where there's a full table set with food and cake. There's a few minutes of speeches before they can eat. Meanwhile on the outside the dancers and the people gathered will be eating.
Once the couple finishes eating , they leave the man's house to the woman's home. They are accompanied by the dancers and other community members.
At the woman's home, there's more dance,music and prayers. More like what happened at the man's house.I couldn't eat at the woman's home as I was already full. Eventually anyone can leave at their own pleasure.
This was definitely a beautiful experience worth following or gatecrashing. Despite the language barrier,they were extremely kind and delighted to have us.

Raising money for the Wild Frontiers Foundation the evening was a great success providing the funds for around 250 local Congolese to go and see the gorillas that live in the Kahuzi Biega National Park.
Renewable Energy And Life In Refugee
Learning about life in refugee camps might sound like a very depressing activity for the start of 2022!
But as this talk will highlight, there is much to be hopeful about. Renewable energy technologies are being deployed within refugee camps in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.
Bringing light, electricity and clean cooking to millions of people. Life within refugee camps can be hard, and many refugees live for decades in small informal dwellings with little hope of returning home.
With new investments in renewable and flexible energy technologies, refugees can start to build a new life and realise opportunities to have fulfilling social and economic lives.
During this talk, Dr Sarah Rosenberg-Jansen from the University of Oxford, will present examples of new energy technologies in countries like Jordan, Bangladesh, Kenya, and Rwanda, to show how important access to sustainable energy is for refugees.
