Somewhere in East-Java is the most colorful village you have ever seen! A few years ago, an entire slum area in the city of Malang, Indonesia was basically given up. The living conditions of this village were that bad that the government wanted to relocate all residents. A group of students from a university in Malang came up with the idea to give the whole area a fresh and remarkable splash of paint in the hope to attract the attention of tourists. In June 2016, the air force troops painted the entire village (named Jodipan) and directly after, tourists started to notice this colorful rainbow village in Java.

මවුන්ට් බ්රෝමෝ කියන්නේ ඉන්දුනීසියාවේ නැගෙනහිර ජාවා වල තියන ක්රියාකාරී ගිනි කන්දක්. උස මිටර් 2329 වන අතර නැගෙනහිර ජාවා වල වැඩිම සංචාරක ආකර්ෂණය දිනාගත් තැනක්. අපි ජීප් එකක තමයි මේ ගමන ගියේ. මුලින්ම පෙන්ජාජන් කන්ද ඉදල ඉර උදාව බලල ඉවර වෙලා මවුන්ට් බ්රෝමෝ ලගට යන්න තියෙන්නේ සුන්දර කලු පැහැති වැලි තලාවකින්. ජීප් එක පාක් කරන තැන ඉදල විනාඩි 45ක ගමනක්. පයින් යන ගමන කොච්චර දුශ්කර උනත් ජීවිතේ කිසිදාක නොදැකපු ක්රියාකාරී ගිනි කන්දක් සජීවීව දැක ගන්න ලැබිමම ලොකු සතුටක්.
එ වගෙම බාලී සහ නැගෙනහිර ජාවා කියන්නේ දුපත් දෙකක් එතනදි අපිට බස් අරන් යන ලොකු ෆෙරී එකක අත්දැකිමකුත් ලැබුනා. වැඩි විස්තර ව්ලොග් එකෙන්
Mount Bromo a volcano in Indonesia. This was one of the craziest, coolest places we've ever been. At Mt Bromo, you can make your own experience, and hike to get incredible views of the volcano before crossing the sea of sand to hike on the volcano. When you walk around the rim of it, there aren't rails or fences blocking it off, it's just pure true nature. It was one of our best experiences in Indonesia, and if you come to East Java, you have to go to Mount Bromo.
Mount Bromo, a 2300-meter high volcano in Java, Indonesia. The Bromo tour for sunrise at this active volcano is the highlight when visiting Java. It is surrounded by a wide-stretched sea of sand where most visitors drive around with a 4×4 jeep. The volcano is active every 5 years and the lava always stayed inside. ????

This waterfall is the biggest and most impressive we have seen so far???? The way down was quite an adventure but we had so much fun! And down there while taking these shots we got totally soaked. Not to forget that from Malang we drove over 2 hours by scooter to get there and back afterwards????so it was an adventurous day but so worth it???? we are absolutely in love with the waterfalls in Indonesia❤️ where is your favorite waterfall?

As well as sea and sand however Bali has a huge number of other attractions to enjoy such as temples, caves, waterfalls, museums, and markets, and if you like history and culture then you can spend hours learning the local legends and Balinese traditions in places like Ubud.
If you like adventure activities, then you also won’t be disappointed on a trip here, and you can expect a fantastic array of water sports, muck and wreck diving, and the chance fly through the jungle canopy like Tarzan.
In short, whatever you want to do, you will probably find it in Bali and you can easily spend a month here and still only see a fraction of the sights on offer. The hardest part of a holiday here is choosing where to go first and what you want to see.

So my travels continue, this will be the first time in my life I have crossed the equator into the Southern Hemisphere! So looking forward to this trip as I’m meeting p with my eldest Daughter, who I have not seen for nearly a year and a half as she has been traveling in SE Asia and Australia.
