Nobody Visits This Country...Find Out Why
This is a @baldandbankrupt PARODY!
This is the poorest and least visited country in Europe.
This country has not recovered from the fall of the Soviet Union.
Even after 30 years of democracy, this country failed to run as a healthy country. Corruption is still a big thing over here.
But, there are some people on this planet who can change the world.
One of them is called @baldandbankrupt.
He went to this country, made a video about it and all of a sudden the government renovated the place he was talking about.
BUT ONLY THAT PLACE!! LOL
@baldandbankrupt, was talking about an underground system to cross busy streets and when I arrived on this location I saw that they renovated this place. The stairs are new, the walls are decorated and even the wheelchair acces was brand new!
In my video I call it a metro station or a subway, but it is not a metro station.
But maybe it was a plan to build a metro station, but because of the corruption, they did not finish their work so there are only stations without tracks. ????????
Bald really went viral and even the government knew about his video.
What a shame to have a capital city look like this!
So I came to this country and see if they actually changed some stuff.
Let's hope they will do something about the huge abandoned Hotel National.
After checking out the underground and the area of Hotel National, I went searching for the abandonded observatory in Chisinau or Kishinev.
I met some young fellas who showed me around some other abandoned buildings.
It was a great journey to this country and only crazy people like, @GabrielTravelerVideos, Bald and me visit these kinds of places.

Was bald and bankrupt right about chisinau?
In 2019, YouTuber and Soviet adventuriser Bald and Bankrupt made a video in Chisinau, the capital city of the least visited country in Europe, Moldova. In that video, he shows a run-down city, neglected by its corrupt leaders.
My European travels brought me to the city of Chisinau so I decided to visit some of the places shown in Bald and Bankrupt's video to see if there had been any improvements made in the last 2 years. I wanted to see if Chisinau was really as bad as it looked in that video.

After 18 months of a life on pause, thanks to the sodding corona virus, and endless hours on Google Maps checking out all the places I want to visit, the time has finally arrived to begin my travels in Europe.

Bald and Morally Bankrupt: Moldova is Misrepresented by Travel Vlogs
After watching several Moldova travel vlogs, and then experiencing it for myself, it left me rather annoyed. It was NOTHING like the way it was represented. Not only that, but people were praising these vloggers for showing a real side of a place, instead of a polished, glamorous view of the place. Now, I didn't find Chisinau glamorous, and I certainly didn't find much glitz and glamour in Tiraspol, or Bender, or Saroca, but I also didn't find any of the squalor that is shown in the vlogs that were filmed just before I arrived there last November. Is this cognitive dissonance, confirmation bias, or did they just lie, potentially harming the already fragile tourist infrastructure for a few extra views of poverty porn?

Moldova - Nobody Visits This Country - Eastern European Country of Moldova - 90 day fiancé
Moldova - I did a brief internet search of the country and learned interesting facts. Andreeeee, or is it Andrei from 90 day fiance star hails from this Eastern Europe Country. Also ranked as one the least happy nation on the planet according to data from the World Database of Happiness. It is not the scariest.
From my quick google searches i learned:
Moldova is one of the former soviet republics of Eastern Europe. The country has a terrain of forests, rocky hills, and beautiful vineyards. Moldova shares lots of cultural and linguistic roots with Romania, her neighbor. Here are ten other facts about Moldova which many would find funny.

Hello, everyone! I am Kenneth and every week I upload content to my YouTube channel that covers travel as well as explorations of my adopted city of Paris. For this week's installment, I am taking you to Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, a former Soviet Republic.
Chisinau often attracts negative attention because of its neglected infrastructure, but there are definitely pockets of beauty to be found in the Moldovan capital. With that in mind, I focus on two lovely parks, two historic Orthodox churches and numerous street scenes.
My movies are mainly filmed on a Canon EOS 250D; some parts are filmed on my Huawei mobile phone and others on my Canon Ixus point & shoot. Although I am at ease with public speaking, I am still getting used to speaking to a camera, so I apologize if I come across as a bit nervous while narrating.
