O Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa faz parte de vários grupos internacionais que, em conjunto, se empenham em defender espécies que estão ameaçadas de extinção e esse trabalho é particularmente bem destacado durante a visita ao parque. Em todas as áreas conseguimos perceber qual é a espécie de animal para a qual estamos a olhar, de que forma e onde vive originalmente, como se defende, o que come, como se reproduz e, mais importante, qual o risco de extinção que enfrenta.

Beautiful park! A little pricey but the cable car ride was impressive.

Um bom lugar para levar as crianças ou fazer um passeio em família é o Zoológico Municipal de Curitiba.
Você é meu convidado(a) a partir de agora a fazer um tour completo pelo parque. E apreciar a bela paisagem os belos flagras que fizermos dos animais.
Neste vídeo você ver muitos pássaros e aves, macacos, micos, gorilas, girafa, veados e o rei leão.
Você vai se divertir com a bicada que levei do avestruz, e vai se surpreender com a reação do leão quando chamei ele de lion.
ENDEREÇO DO ZOOLÓGICO DE CURITIBA:
O Zoológico de Curitba está localizado dentro do Parque Iguaçu na Rua João Miqueletto, s/n - Alto Boqueirão, Curitiba - PR.
HORÁRIO DE FUNCIONAMENTO:
Horário de funcionamento de terça a domingo, durante a semana das 9h as 17h, sábados, domingos e feriados das 10h as 16h. A Entrada é gratuita.
MEIOS DE TRANSPORTE / COMO CHEGAR:
DE CARRO:
As vias de acesso são pela Av. Marechal Floriano Peixoto no Boqueirão, quase na divisa com o município de São José dos Pinhais e pelo Alto Boqueirão na região da Vila Osternack. Aos domingos e feriados é proibido retornar do Zoo via Av. Marechal Floriano.
Na entrada do Zoo há um amplo estacionamento gratuito, porém fica lotado aos finais de semana, sempre há guardadores de carros (flanelinhas), portanto leve um gorjeta no bolso.
ATENÇÃO:
Devido a lotação do estacionamento alguns motoristas deixam o carro estacionado a beira da estrada sobre a grama, os flanelinhas incentivam esta pratica, porém, os fiscais de trânsito, que sempre estão por ali, costumam multar os veículos estacionados irregularmente.
DE ÔNIBUS
Há também duas linhas de ônibus que fazem ponto final no portão do Zoológico, uma linha partindo do Terminal Pinheirinho e outra linha partindo do Terminal Boqueirão.
O parque conta com um módulo da Guarda Municipal de Curitiba, dentro do Zoo.
