She Tries The Radio Calls - Ferrying A Cessna 172RG Into Fort Lauderdale INTL!
I was given a call from a friend who asked if I would be willing to fly his C172RG from KHWO to KFLL, where it would then go into the paint shop. I also used this flight to try and have Isabella learn how to do radio calls. Hopefully after a few more flights she will be at ease talking with ATC.

Renting a Cessna 172: IFR Flight with Friends (Florida to South Carolina)
Join us on an IFR flight up the east coast as we fly from Daytona Beach Int'l (KDAB) up to Hilton Head (KHXD) in a rented Cessna 172 Skyhawk. The weather wasn't looking good over Florida so we file an IFR flight plan and get some instrument time on our way up to cruising altitude. The weather clears up as we reach South Carolina...but strap in for a rough landing nonetheless. Thanks for watching!

Flying a Cessna 172 into Miami International Airport
Not every day you get to land a 172 in a class B airport.
My Girlfriend went flying with me
Tristen and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful Sunday afternoon here in West Tennessee. The wind was light so we decided to do some low and slow flying, over the mighty Mississippi River. Tristen also answers about flying with me and some cool conversations. Y'all keep Flying!

Renting a Cessna 172 with Friends - Flying to Georgia for Lunch
A couple of friends and I rented a Cessna 172 at the Daytona Beach Int'l Airport and took it up to St. Simons Island (Malcolm McKinnon Airport) to get some good ole' Georgia BBQ for lunch. The weather was less than VFR so we filed an IFR flightplan, loaded up the plane, and departed around 9AM. There was a thick overcast ceiling at around 800ft the whole way up which led to some great views above the clouds and a challenging RNAV GPS approach into KSSI. We broke out around 700ft on approach, less than 300ft above minimums.

So with the UK national lockdown 2.0 hitting home now I thought I get some flying done before the CAA ground us private pilot so I just took the girlfriend up to stay current. Also the TAF&Metars said no such thing when leaving Liverpool zone

Cessna 172 Rental Flight with Friends - Back to Daytona!
After flying our rented Cessna 172 Skyhawk up to St. Simons Island, Georgia (KSSI) for some BBQ lunch, a couple friends and I load up the plane and head back home to Daytona Beach Int'l (KDAB). The weather wasn't ideal so we filed an IFR flight plan and headed southbound off the coast at 4,000 feet. I rode backseat and filmed our journey back to Florida. Flying to the Exuma Islands, Bahamas in a Cessna 172
A long awaited trip to the outer islands of the Bahamas. My girlfriend was dying to see pig beach and I was dying to fly to the Bahamas. So with some planning and help from the folks at Banyan Air, Odyssey Aviation, and Staniel Cay Yacht club...we did it. We left from Orlando, FL. made a stop in FT Lauderdale, FL. and Nassau before flying into Black point (Staniel Cay was shut down for runway renovations).
