Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are ????). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser One Year Later - A LOT Has Changed!

We returned to the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser just over a year since the maiden voyage to see what had changed. Kitra will be transformed into a Star Wars alien in the Image Design experience, in Sublight Lounge we will try the Krayt Reactor, a $79 Dragonfruit Margarita that is an experience for four passengers, and more! In addition to all the new stuff, we got to stay this time in the Grand Captains Suite cabin and experience the Captains Table at dinner. And there is a ton of stuff that we see and do that we’ve not seen before on our previous voyages including Kitra’s special force encounter with a Saja in the Climate Simulator. And we’ll have some fun with a big group of our friends and the biggest Star Wars fans in the galaxy who are on this special voyage celebrating May the 4th in space!
