Caribbean Cruise Vacation Day 5 Belize City
Day 5 of our cruise on the Norwegian Pearl took us to Belize City Belize. We did not do a shore excursion, just went into the port and hung out a bit and had some lunch.
I did enjoy the tinder boat rides to and from the ship. The locals were friendly and we enjoyed our seafood lunch.

CELEBRITY REFLECTION CRUISE VLOG - BELIZE CITY AND PORT TOUR! | NOV 2021 - DAY 5
Join us on the Celebrity Reflection for a port day in Belize City, Belize cruise port as well as a lot of fun on the cruise ship! This is part of trip on the first sailing of the Celebrity Reflection in November 2021! First we get some breakfast at the Oceanview Cafe buffet before heading off the ship in Belize for the Belize Calypso Train Tour! This detailed tour in an open air trolley of Belize City was incredible and informative!
Once back onboard the Celebrity Reflection we grab lunch at the Ocean View Cafe buffet and enjoy views of the ocean also other ships in the port. We hang out and watch the lido deck and the pool. We enjoy sail away from our balcony, head to the main dining room (MDR) for dinner, and catch some live music! We get more surprises back in our cabin! It was another amazing day on the Celebrity Reflection!

Day 7 - Arrived at Galveston
Our ship was the Ruby Princess and it had been recently updated and was nice. It had lots of restaurants, shops and plenty of activities for everyone.

Exploring the Port of Belize in the Caribbean with Sea Leg Journeys
Come along with Sea Leg Journeys as we explore the port of Belize. Belize is a tender port. Cruise ships anchor about 4 miles off the coast of Belize and tender boats take passengers ashore. It takes about 30 minutes on the tender from ship to shore. Belize is a beautiful port with great shopping port and the boardwalk is lined with swings. Grab a cold coconut at the famous Coconut Bar and if you wanted it spiked with alcohol you can have that too!

Caribbean Princess Cruise Ep 4 of 5 - Port Day in Belize @CurachaGomez
Join us on this exciting Part 4 of a 5-part series on a Princess Cruise to the Caribbean. Today's highlights incudes shores excursions to Belize City, and the Altun Ha Myan Ruins. The day starts with a 5-mile ride on a water shuttle to Beliz City Port. We then take a narrated bus tour of Belize City, while enjoying beautiful landmarks and old colonial buildings mixed in with the modern that gives the old Belize capital its Caribbean charm We then head to Altun Ha Mayan ruins, for a tour of the Mayan ceremonial site situated in a lush rain forest. Once a thriving Mayan city and trade center, we walk amongst the 13 structures that surround two plazas and its 60-foot Temple of the Sun God. We even climb up the steps to the tops of three main temples on the site and to enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. Afterwards, take a short drive to a local farm where we enjoy a delicious local lunch.
Carnival Vista Cruise Day 5- Belize Sharks, Rays, Barrier Reef Snorkel & Island Escape March19-26th
Back to cruising!!! My wife and I had a cruise scheduled for April 2020 and it was postponed a bunch, but we kept getting credits and such that we got a second room and brought the kids (and had lots of onboard credit!) With rules for kids we had to wait until they were vaxxed and spring break worked out great!
Second stop on this cruise, Belize City, Belize! This is our first ever official Carnival Excursion: Sharks, Rays, Barrier Reef Snorkel & Island Escape. With how long this excursion is and lots of water transport and the reasonable price, we decided to go with it! We had to tender to port, regroup at port, then jump on a faster boat for the 40 minute ride to Caye Culker and the Lazy Lizard. After getting fitted for snorkel equipment and a potty break we went out to the breakers for shark and ray swimming. It was very wavy and windy the day we did it but it was still amazing! The sharks were so not scary it was weird (I was more scared with the sting rays in grand cayman than this, and not really scared there either.) The kids loved it! Some dude found a conch and brought it on board and all of a sudden a baby octopus fell out! Crazy! We then went to snorkel! My GoPro didn't work for the first half of the snorkel which had all the good stuff!!! Jess even saw a sea turtle. I literally had to remove the battery and reinstall in the ocean to get the GoPro to work again so I got the last couple of minutes where it was deep. But the kids loved this too!
Back to the boat for some rum punch! We took a detour to feed tarpon fish (super fun and crazy) Then to the Lazy Lizard for lunch. We were asked to order from the menu on our way to Caye Caulker but we decided not to...we just ordered when we got there and were able to sit oceanside instead of in the picnic area. I hiked 2/3 of a mile south to get a couple geocaches! Caye Caulker is amazing and I highly recommend this if you get the chance. Grabbed an iced coffee at Ice and Beans and headed back to the split just in time for nachos and a Belikin beer!!! Back on the boat to head back to Belize City. A couple more rum punches and Nina napped and we made it back. Grabbed a couple souvenirs and then tendered back all tired but happy!
Went to dinner... kids said this was the best day ever and best cruise port of the 4 they went to (and that held up after Cozumel too). Didn't film much of the night as we were tired and Cozumel would be here soon too! Thanks for watching!
