Located in southern Italy, in the Bay of Naples, near the tip of the Amalfi Peninsula, the island of Capri is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The island is divided into 3 areas: Marina Grande, with the main port, Capri, the most touristic area, and Anacapri, the highest village on the island. Since the second half of the 19th century, Capri has gradually become one of the most popular resorts in southern Italy, famous for its magnificent scenery.
Our guided walking tour is about 5.6 miles (9 km) long, starts at Marina Grande and covers most attractions and historic sites of Capri.

Flying Over Capri, Italy - 4K
Here is a peek of just some of the locations you will see in the upcoming Capri Walking Tours. Walk #1 will be around the main port of Capri known as Marina Grande.
Walk #2 will start with a ride in the Funicolare up to the Piazzetta. It will then continue through the main shopping street, Via Camerelle.
Walk #3: A walk through the villas out to the Belvedere Tragara. The walk will continue to some lookout points on Via Tragara and then continue down to the Faraglioni beach.
Walk #4: This walk will lead you through the small streets full of shops and villas until you finally reach the Natural Arch.
Walk #5: This walk will begin at the Piazzetta, through the main part of town, and then end at the Garden of Augustus with views of Via Krupp.
Walk #6: This walk will also begin at the Piazzetta but take a different route through the town out to the Villa Jovis, the ancient palace of the Roman Emperor Tiberius.
Walk #7: This walk will take you through the historic district of Anacapri.
Walk #8: This walk will take you up the chair lift to Monte Salaro and will include the hike back down to Capri. This walk has some amazing views!
Walk #9: You will begin at the Piazza Vittoria in Anacapri and walk down Cia Capodimonte and Via Axel Munthe, one long path full of shops and cafe.
Walk #10: Starting at the Villa S. Michele, this walk will take you all the way down the Phoenician Steps, a lengthy staircase with amazing views that ends at the Marina Grande.
*A few of these walks will need to be divided up into several parts so I can keep the length of each walk at 45 minutes or less.

Capri Walking Tour 6 - The Gardens of Augustus and Charterhouse of San Giacomo in 4K
This walked was filmed on October 14th, 2018 between 10:15am and 12:05pm. The walk begins at the Belvedere of the Piazzetta where you walk through the Piazzetta and past the Quisisana Hotel before reaching the Hotel Luna grounds. Before reaching the Gardens of Augustus, you will walk past the famous perfume shop, Carthusia. The walk continues to one of the oldest buildings on the island, the Charterhouse of San Giacomo, i.e., the Certosa di San Giacomo. This is where the Carthusian monks lived in silence and solitude. Enjoy!

Capri Walking Tour 4 - The Pizzolungo Trail and the Natural Arch
This walk was filmed on October 12th, 2018 and April 9th, 2019. The walk begins at the Belvedere Tragara and then continues along the Pizzolungo Trail with scenic views out over the Faraglioni Rocks. Before reaching the Natural Arch, you will see the Grotta di Matermania, a natural cave used as a Nympheum by the Romans. Finally, towards the end of the walk you will see the Arco Naturale, or Natural Arch. Enjoy!

Walk to Belvedere di Tragara & La Fontelina
Belvedere di Tragara is a viewpoint in Capri that's a 15 minute easy, flat, relaxing walk from the centre of the town of Capri. In this tourist sights & attractions of Capri Italy trip video we visit Via Tragara, walking the trail to the lookout point which overlooks the views on the South shore of Capri island.
After taking in the scenery at Belvedere Tragara balcony's scenic vantage point view, we continue our little hike path amidst tropical plants, cactus plants and trees, for a further 300m. We descend the rocky cliffs, down lots of steps and stairs in the direction of Isole Faraglioni (aka i Faraglioni, the natural arch) and the blue sea, to the famous private beach club restaurant, La Fontelina for lunch, where dramatic crashing waves provided a dynamic soundtrack to our pasta meal.
Thanks to Alex and Mimi Ikonn for recommending La Fontelina in their vlogs. We wouldn't have discovered it otherwise, and it was definitely the best meal we had out of the 5 meals we had on Capri.

The Belvedere Tragara is one of the busiest spots in Capri because it is a good vantage point to admire the famous Faraglioni of Capri, it is just a few minutes on foot from the Piazzetta of Capri, and the access is complimentary.

Per esempio dal Belvedere Tragara puoi scendere le scale o seguire la via in discesa per intraprendere la Via Pizzolungo.

Via Pizzolungo sembra un proseguo naturale di Via Tragara ma è diversa.

Se vuoi percorrerla ti consiglio di indossare scarpe comode adatte a camminare in quanto è abbastanza lunga ed è più simile ad un sentiero che ad una delle via del centro di Capri.
If you want to walk it, I suggest you wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking as it is quite long and is more like a path than one of the streets in the center of Capri.
Vorrei specificare che in Google Maps il primo tratto di Via Pizzolungo è segnato come il continuo di Via Tragara invece che riportare correttamente Via Pizzolungo ma non è molto importante perché quello che interessa a noi è dove ci conduce.
I want to specify that in Google Maps, the first stretch of Via Pizzolungo is marked as the continuation of Via Tragara instead of correctly reporting Via Pizzolungo but it is not very important because what interests us is where it leads us.
