Who relaxation searches for a short break, we recommend Boa Vista, the small natural island which belongs to Cape Verde. Few hotels in the Praia da Chave offer everything you need to relax and for small individual excursions learns country and the people know on the small island about 450 km in the Atlantic off the African mainland (Senegal). I have compiled the most beautiful moments for a first impression here.

Nur wenige Hotels an der Praia da Chave bieten alles, was man zum Relaxen braucht und bei kleinen individuellen Ausflügen lernt man Land & Leute kennen auf der kleinen Insel ca. 450 km im Atlantik vor dem afrikanischen Festland (Senegal). Ich habe hier die schönsten Momente für einen ersten Eindruck zusammengestellt.

Join us on an adventure to Sal Rei - The Capital of Boa Vista, Cape Verde.
Sal Rei, located on the island of Boavista, Cape Verde was founded in the 19th century by Portuguese settlers. During this period, the island was mainly used for the production of salt, from which derives the name of the city “Sal-Rei” (Rei means king in Portuguese, and was used as a title of respect for the importance of the salt production for the island’s economy).
The city is located near beautiful and unspoilt beaches, such as Estoril beach and Cabral. In front of the bay of Sal Rei you can see a small islet, the Djeu.
Most of the island’s services are concentrated in Sal Rei, overall a quiet place, where everything is within walking distance since the city is not very big.
Sal Rei has grown over the years and it is possible to observe a slow but constant development, which attracts many foreign investors and many new residents who find in Boavista a paradise in which to move or spend long periods of the year.

On our week long trip to Boa Vista we have individually met the absolutely natural desert island. It started on the beach at the former brick factory in Rabil to north of Sal Rei nearby beach Cabo Santa Maria. There lies close to the beach a wreck, which is, however, only be reached via sandy slopes. The highlight was the catch at the Ecolodge Spinguera, a small but nice hotel almost at the northernmost point of the Ponta Antonia.

Auf unserer einwöchigen Reise nach Boa Vista haben wir individuell die absolut naturbelassene Wüsteninsel kennengelernt. Los ging es am Strand an der ehemaligen Ziegelfabrik bei Rabil zum nördlich von Sal Rei gelegenen Strand Cabo Santa Maria. Dort liegt in unmittelbarer Strandnähe ein Wrack, welches jedoch nur über unausgeschilderte Sandpisten zu erreichen ist. Höhepunkt war die Rast an der Ecolodge Spinguera, einem kleinen aber feinen Hotel fast am nördlichsten Punkt dem Ponta Antonia.

On our week long trip to Boa Vista we have individually met the absolutely natural desert island. It started on the southern tour in the capital Sal Rei to Deserto de Viana, the only major sand desert on Cape Verde. The Deserto de Viana is the only major sand desert on Cape Verde. The highlight was a beach holiday at Praia Santa Monica in the south of the island about 18 km long known from the late afternoon until Sunset.Der fine sandy beach can only be reached by four-wheel vehicles, absolutely relaxed the trip with Baobab Tours!

Auch dieses Jahr sind wir wieder auf die kapverdische Insel Boa Vista geflogen, eine Insel die wunderschön ist und vom Tourismus wie Ihr es kennt (dicht an dicht), weit verschont ist. In unseren Videos (die nicht immer ganz ernst sind) zeigen wir Euch die Insel aus verschiedenen Perspektiven. In diesem Jahr ohne Kommentare, wer also was nützliches wissen möchte sollte sich das Jahr 2015 anschauen. Dieses Jahr waren wir ein wenig Action-bezogen unterwegs, auch wieder mit der bewährten Crew von Boa-Vista Tours, die einfach den Urlaub rund machen. (Danke an Frank & Andrea). Wenn Euch Teil 1 gefällt, dann Daumen hoch und es gibt den 2. Teil wo wir mit der Yacht unterwegs sind, und noch das ein oder andere Video zum Hotel.
Im übrigen lohnt sich das Geld auf jedenfall, denn man kann dort nicht viel loswerden. Wenn Ihr Fragen habt dann fragt.
Wir werden sie beantworten. Die Filme Boa Vista 2015 /2016 entstanden im übrigen fast taggenau um ein Jahr versetzt. Eine weitere Wiederholungstat im nächsten Jahr ist nicht ausgeschlossen :-) Wir verbessern auch ständig unser Cam-Hardware um noch bessere und ausgefallenere Bilder von diesem einzigartigen Ort mitbringen zu können. Die größte Herausforderung ist es das ganze Sand und staubfrei zu halten, aus diesem Grunde sind bis auf einen Camcorder alle Kameras staub und wasserdicht.
