Should you buy a Motorhome or a Caravan? What are the costs of a Motorhome and a Caravan? What are the benefits of a Motorhome and a Caravan?
In this vlog we use our own experience to give you an overview of the costs, benefits and limitations of a Motorhome and a Caravan. If you are considering buying one, but don’t know which, then this vlog will answer some of your questions.
Having owned a Caravan from April 2018, we toured and towed 15,000 miles around the UK and Europe. In August 2020 we loaned a Motorhome for 3 months and toured the south of the UK. We were able to compare the two styles of touring and how each worked for us. Based on this compassion, we ordered a Motorhome in October 2020 and delivery is due in May 2021. Purchasing a leisure vehicle is a huge financial commitment and this vlog may provide some information you need to make a decision.

Travel Beans are back on the road this time with a campervan from Spaceships Campervans. 5 years ago we did a European campervan trip with Spaceships so we want to do it again. This video we compare a campervan vs a motorhome. The campervan tour is of the Voyager camper while the motorhome tour is the family motorhome. If you want to travel during COVID then there is no better way than going in a Campervan to stay safe and isolated. This we trip we are visiting Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Czech Republic and France. First, we start in England but before we go we had to choose our weapon (the campervan).

One year ago, Eamon and I decided to forgo yet another apartment lease to buy a used 2008 Mercedes Sprinter Van that we would convert to our tiny home on wheels. Our DIY project allowed us to customize our build to meet our specific needs and we could not be happier. Hello, I’m Joe and three years ago I took a motorcycle ride that changed my life, well… our lives. After living years with chronic pain and overcoming it with a plant-based diet, I decided to pack a dry bag on a Kawasaki Versys 650 and Moto-camp my way around Lake Superior. ????
Upon my return, Sherri quickly picked up on the travel bug that had bitten me and starting digging into YouTube to find a place for us to live lighter, go farther and see more.
It wasn’t long before she found a YouTube video walkthrough of the Safari Condo Alto R1713. We were in. And without ever seeing one in person, we sent in our downpayment ????.
While awaiting our little glass palace delivery, we worked to put our entire small manufacturing business online. And in June of 2018, we did it!
And now after two years and over 300 nights in our little camper, we want to share what we have learned about living lighter and give back to this amazing YouTube community that has provided so much information and inspiration.

Carrying an Electric Bike with a camper van, motorhome, or caravan
I was loaned an electric mountain bike from Mark2 Bikes, but my primary concern was how was I going to safely and conveniently carry this eBike on my caravan?
This led me down a rabbit hole of research which made me realise that the bike carrier on my caravan is NOT suitable for carrying eBikes.
