Sixth flight, AMAZING beautiful takeoff from Kosrae on our way to Pohnpei. Equally beautiful approach, and a SUPER HARD landing in PNI. One of the hardest landings I have experienced. Non the less, almost half way through this crazy mileage run!

Passing over clear Micronesian waters and reefs before landing on Runway 27 in the capital of the FSM. Two legs of United's Pacific Island Hopper later, taking off from a wet Runway 4 at Chuuk after a rainstorm had just passed over the island. Filmed from seat 29F while flying the full route from Honolulu to Guam via Majuro, Kwajalein, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Chuuk.

7th flight in my 13 flight run through the South Pacific island in the Federated States of Micronesia. The sights just keep getting better and better as we keep flying further and further. The amazing views while taking off in Pohnpei as we climb out, and the amazing mountain in Chuuk as we come in to land. This one of our last hops, in our hooper run. SO SAD!

Chuuk to Guam will be my 8th flight on my United Airlines Mileage run, and is also the last flight of the United Airlines Pacific Island Hopper Service from Honolulu to Guam. Beautiful takeoff from Chuuk, and amazing approach into Guam. What an amazing experience! Next stop Manila.

Nick Zoa, My Year in Paradise During the Pandemic
Retired College Professor, Nick Zoa will tell us about his being the last American to be about 7,000 miles from the United States on a ten mile long and 43 miles around island in paradise. Nick’s travels and his adventure of traveling the world and his experiences starting on March 6th when
he flew by United Airlines to the Island of Kosrae, which is halfway between Guam and Hawaii. He will tell us: “I began my trip at a resort in Yap, followed by a live-aboard in Palau. From there I did some wreck-diving in Chuuk, visited the ruins on Pohnpei and then landed on Kosrae on March 6. I noticed
increased concerns about the virus (people wearing masks, hand sanitizers at airports, a few questions asked by airport personnel. But I did not worry since from Kosrae, I had tickets to fly to Majuro in the Marshall Islands on March 9th. On March the 9th, all flights stopped and here I am since the pandemic started.”
