These are my 4 must do things in Santa Teresa Costa Rica. Santa Teresa is a sleepy little beach town, but there are at least 4 things that you HAVE to do if you visit. You have to go surfing, eat tacos, rent an ATV, and watch the sunset. Trust me, you need to do these 4 things.

For those looking for the beaches: Look up Montezuma Waterfall All the beaches were about 30-45 from Santa Teresa and on the way to the waterfall location. Enjoy!

Staying in the Jungle on a Rural Costa Rica Island ????????

This week I stay in the jungle on a rural island in Southern Costa Rica called Isla Violin. There are only a few small families in all of Isla Violin, no stores, no markets... Just wildlife and pure nature. I'm volunteering via Worldpackers, a platform that connects hosts with volunteers and travelers who want to offer their skills in exchange for a place to stay and new experiences. Today I fly to San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, and then make my way South to Isla Violin by taking two busses and two small boats to get to the island.

Amazing BEACHES and FOOD in Puerto Viejo COSTA RICA | TRAVEL VLOG

It's another beautiful day so we decided to search for some good food in Puerto Viejo Costa Rica and discover what beaches are on offer in the area!

First stop, a burger joint that's always busy in Puerto Viejo, La Terraza. It's well worth stopping by to check this place out for gourmet burgers that aren't too expensive. Next we explore Playa Cocles, a stunning beach about 10 minutes out of town if you're not keen on the messy black sand of Playa Negra.

SANTA TERESA IS PARADISE: Can I move here?? (Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica)

I'm pretty sure this is paradise... at least my version of it! Sand, salt, waves, pelicans, hermit crabs. A beautiful breakfast at an amazing bakery/cafe. Playing for hours with Harper in the tide pools at low tide. And watching the sun set every evening on the beach. Love love love.
