We visited the Riu Hotel in 2015. The Junior Suite was fantastic and the view amazing. Unfortunately the sea was too rough to go into but we had a very relaxing holiday.

#capeverde #caboverde Watch all this before booking. TUI asks you not to go in the sea due to dangerous rip currents unless there’s a green flag. Staff told me there has never been one. They tell you no hospital on the island if you get hurt and €25000 to be flown to the hospital. Travel insurance doesn’t cover you as the red flags are flying. One member of the TUI team told us several customers had been seriously injured. Not sure why you build a hotel on such a dangerous beach? Unregulated smoking everywhere is a problem for asthmatics like myself. You can secure a perfect spot for the evening show and have to give it up when smokers start up next to you ☹️???????? There are tennis courts and single-sex steam rooms.

Along a secluded private beach, this upmarket all-inclusive resort is 25 km from International Airport Aristides Pereira.
Decorated in warm or neutral tones, the casual rooms and suites offer free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, minifridges and safes, plus balconies or terraces with ocean views. Some are adults-only.
In addition to meals, snacks and drinks are included. Dining options consist of 6 restaurants, 2 bars, a cocktail lounge and 3 pool bars. Other amenities include a nightclub, karaoke, a gift shop and play areas, plus a spa, a gym and 2 tennis courts. There's also 6 outdoor pools, 2 children's pools, a hot tub and a hammam.

Riu Touareg Hotel.
Boa Vista is an island in Cape Verde, off the coast of West Africa. It's known for the sand dunes and moonlike volcanic landscapes of the Viana Desert. White-sand beaches include Tortuga and the sprawling Santa Monica. Sea turtles are known to nest on the shore, while the coastal waters are a route for migrating humpback whales. The remains of a 19th-century fort sit on an islet across from the town of Sal Rei.
There is very little resource on the Island with running water and electricity not available in every home. Boa Vista relies on tourism and farming, in return for helping the economy on the island you will be rewarded with white sand beaches, incredible people who will welcome you into their lives, The staff at the hotel Riu Touareg were bar far the best I have encountered anywhere, each and every person was cheery, welcoming and just nice to be around what ever their role at the hotel.

This is a travel video about my holiday to Hotel Rui Toureg in Boa Vista, Cape Verde (Summer 2019). It was a TUI all-inclusive holiday and we went on some TUI exertions. Defo the best part of the trip to see the culture and learn about the history of the beautiful Cape Verde island of ‘no stress’.

Last year we spent a lovely week, resting and making memories at the Riu Touareg Hotel on Boa Vista Island, Cape Verde. Finally got round to learning to edit a little so quickly threw this together. Still lots of work to be done as I learn.
