Black Rock City and Burning Man won't rise from the dust this year, and while no video can replace the experience of being in the desert together, I hope this one sends your imagination soaring back home while you dream of flame and fire, picklebacks and Pringles, building art and camps, music, day-time adventures, the haunting beauty of deep playa at night, and most of all - always most of all - old and new friends.
From Thunderdome to Orgy Dome, from Ashram Galactica to the Black Hole, from Center Camp to the trash fence, from gate road to the Temple let it be understood: We Are Not Done.

Winter Survival Shelter, Stay Warm Overnight With No Fire
How to build a simple emergency winter survival shelter for use in a solo overnight stay in the field. If you end up getting caught out in bad weather while out in the field and have limited resources this style shelter can be made with no tools, and little skill. Just build it small and use as much material as you have energy to gather, the more you get the warmer you will be.
The Arid Scablands can be a tricky place to be when the weather gets bad. Cold winds, low temperatures and steep cliffs and ledges can become hard to navigate at night. In other areas that have an abundance of resources building a shelter can be pretty simple, and there are many videos of building bamboo huts, stick lean-to's shelters, fern and bark huts. We have to be a little creative out here having almost none of those building materials, even firewood is scarce.

Join myself and Welsh Greg as we embark on a gruelling 6 day adventure in which we attempt across Scotland in a completely straight line. In Part 1, after a tricky first 3 miles we successfully scaled the Norbord factory fence without drawing too much attention to ourselves. Our aim now is to escape the factory, cross the railway track, motorways and abandoned fishery that lay beyond and reach the sanctuary of the north third forest where we can make a fire, dry off and if we're really lucky, tune into the Rugby. With a host of obstacles and various people up ahead on our line, it's bound to be tasty.

Korean Fire Ramen Noodles Challenge!! Over the years and months, I’ve seen many comments requesting to participate in the spicy fire ramen noodles challenge. And finally, along with Trevor and Sonny, we decided to make ourselves the extra spicy fire noodles, and eat them together while hanging out on a group call. Mostly it was a lot of fun, and can’t wait to share it with you. #Ramen #SpicyRamenChallenge #StreetFood #withme
Khao Gaeng Ruttana (ข้าวแกงรัตนา) - Before the challenge and making the ramen, we ordered some Thai street food for lunch. This Thai rice and curry stall is located within Nang Loeng Market, and they serve fantastic Central Thai food. Their beef green curry is always delicious, full of spice, cumin and coriander seed.
Korea Fire Ramen - For the ramen, we decided we could have creative freedom to cook them the way we wanted to, but I also wanted to preserve and not cover up the original taste and spiciness of the noodles. So I made my in a little bit of a Thai tom yum style - with lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves. Then I added a couple of extra fried freshwater shrimp on the side. Trevor made his with a little bit of a Malaysian touch, including some ikan bilis, and Sonny topped his with whipped cream and a banana.
We all jumped on a group call and started eating! Stay tuned and watch until the end to see if we can complete the Korean 2 X, but in our case 4 X fire noodle challenge.

Corona hat die Welt im Griff und auch in Malaysia gibt es starke Ausgangsbeschränkungen. Die ersten Tage unseres selbstgewählten Exils bei Pulau Kapas waren abwechslungsreich. Wir haben die wunderschöne Insel erkundet und natürlich auch die traumhafte Unterwasserwelt mit vielen intakten Korallenriffen. Für frischen Fisch habe ich da natürlich mit meiner Harpune gesorgt. Ich muss sagen, Malaysia gefällt mir immer besser!
Aber mein Schiff treibt mich manchmal zur Weißglut! Ich hoffe, der Herrgott verzeiht mir meine Ausdrucksweise. Manchmal verfluche ich sämtliche Götter dieser Welt, die es mit mir übel zu meinen scheinen.

He Du, da schau a mal her!
I bin da Gangerl! So sagen's alle zu mir, aber gebürtig heiße ich Wolfgang Clemens. Ich bin Baujahr 1941, gelernter Kunstschmied und Adrenalinjunkey. 1975 habe ich angefangen, meine 15m lange und 18t schwere Yacht aus Stahl bei mir im Hof zu bauen und bin seit 1988 auf den Weltmeeren unterwegs. Seit 1993 bin ich Einhandsegler und habe zu Wasser und zu Land kilometermäßig neunmal die Erde umrundet – Flugmeilen nicht mitgerechnet! Im Dschungel, bei indigenen Völkern oder auf den Bergen in aller Welt bin ich genauso gern wie auf meinem Schiff oder unterwasser. Hauptsache es ist ein Ort, an dem es KEINEN Tourismus gibt.
Müde werde ich nicht, denn wer rastet, der rostet! Deswegen plane ich noch einige Abenteuer in den nächsten Jahren und hoffe, dass meine Knochen das mitmachen. Aber es sieht gut aus, bescheinigt mir mein Arzt. Vor allem der Dschungel und das Hochland von Papua und Papua-Neuguinea mit den letzten aktiven Kannibalen interessieren mich. Dort war ich schon mal, aber ich muss unbedingt nochmal hin.
Ich lebe die meiste Zeit auf meinem Segelschiff. Doch wenn ich in Deutschland bin, wohne ich in einem umgebauten Holzschuppen im Bayerischen Wald. Ich habe mittlerweile auch schon eine ganze Vortragsreihe über meine Reisen. Das sind unterhaltsame Filmvorträge, die ich in VEREINEN, SEGEL- und YACHTCLUBs oder FIRMEN zeige und live kommentiere.
