Joining the Hardcore Venezuelan Migrant Path! ????????
Recently, thousands of immigrants have been crossing the US-Mexico border, drawing both criticism and support. Many of these people are from Venezuela, fleeing the economic hardships of their country. When I learned about the treacherous route Venezuelans take to reach the US border, I was shocked. It's one of the most dangerous migrant routes in the world. To truly understand their struggles, I've decided to embark on the same journey. Alongside one of the world's top vloggers, @baldandbankrupt we will navigate this perilous path, illegally crossing several South and Central American countries. This includes trekking through the world's deadliest jungle, the Darien Gap, and hopping aboard the notorious Mexican train, The Beast. It's going to be a challenging trip with no guaranteed outcome, but if we succeed and make it out safely, you'll definitely hear about it. Let's go!

Join Redfern Adventures' Lost World of Mount Roraima Expedition
Join Redfern Adventures ( ) for an expedition to the spectacular summit of Mount Roraima, known as South America's 'Lost World'.
This 12-day itinerary is a trekking expedition that involves ascending a ledge up Mount Roraima's cliffsides to spend four days on the summit of Mount Roraima to discover the wonders that the mountain holds: its vast labyrinth of stone pinnacles, caves, the valley of the crystals, the triple-point border between Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil, and of course, unique wildlife, including orchids and carnivorous plants!
This trip includes a day exploring the Gran Sabana, and an optional add on trip to canoe to the base of Angel Falls, the tallest waterfall on Earth.
As a responsible tourism operator, Redfern Adventures will: (1) pay all indigenous Pemon guides a very fair wage, (2) make a donation to the Pemon community (to benefit their school) and (3) we will also hire a rubbish collector as part of our team, to collect litter from the summit of Mount Roraima, to ensure the mountain is in a better state than when we arrive!

???????? Venezuela, the name conjures images of a country synonymous with economic collapse and violence. But is that reputation deserved or is there another side to the country that the media don't show? Well, despite being nervous for my safety and that of my camera, I flew into Caracas on my own to investigate. Oh, and whilst there of course I had to visit the infamous Petare barrio, known as Venezuela's most dangerous hood. Would I survive? Join me and find out. Vamos a Caracas chamos!
