Emirates First Class B777 Dubai to Harare, Zimbabwe: My 95th country
Zimbabwe is the 95th country on my journey to 100. On March 24th, I flew this interesting route down into southern Africa and the flight was really special because of the impeccable crew and their outstanding service. I had a lot of fun, flew over some gorgeous African scenery and drank lots of champagne - 3 bottles to be precise (perhaps you can tell ;). On April 14th 2016, I flew this prestigious ultra-longhaul service to South America on the B777-300ER. I used 60,000 Skywards miles to upgrade from Business into First on the DXB-GIG-EZE sectors. Emirates First & Business Class B777 Christmas special Dubai to Glasgow
On December 2nd, the UAE celebrated it's 45th National Day and in this video I show you around my new home, Ras al Khaimah and meet my Emirati friend who talks about UAE culture. After that I flew home for Christmas on December 24th and had a wonderful flight with special Christmas menu onboard. As usual, the crew were fantastic and really in the festive spirit!

The business class on Emirates A380 is one of the best out there. The seat is great and you get a lot of privacy, all seats have aisle access and are featured with several nice features, like the minibar or a great number of touchscreens, but have a look yourself in the video.
The crew of my flight were ok. I don't know how it was in economy but I felt they really let Emirates down.
The food was good quality.

On 3rd August, I got last minute upgrade at check-in on my flight to Papeete in Tahiti, marking my 100th country and the cabin crew were so nice and friendly. In fact, I've been flying with young beautiful / handsome gulf airline crews for so long that I forgot how much an experienced older crew can perform and surprise. Hats off Air NZ!

Thai Airways 747 - Business Class in a First Class seat
Filmed on December 20th, 2017. I really really wanted to like this flight, I had been looking forward to it for ages. Sadly, despite my free upgrade from Business to First class at checkin, the experience was a disappointment. If Thai airways continue to use old planes with old hardware and poor service, what do they expect. The crew however, were good and tried their best during this full flight. Qantas & Emirates A330 + A380 eco/business class Singapore - Brisbane - Auckland
On 2nd August I flew economy in Qantas down to Brisbane to connect with the Emirates A380 to Auckland whilst en-route to my 100th country, Tahiti. This is not a comparison video, just sit back and enjoy the ride(s). The Qantas crew were ok, nothing special, the Emirates crew were probably one of the best I've ever had!

ETIHAD B777 A Short & Sweet Reward Flight in Business Class AUH-KWI
I used up 17500 touchpoints earned from ADCB bank in the UAE to get this reward flight up to Kuwait. The aircraft was scheduled to be the A321 but at the last minute for unknown reasons there was an equipment change to my beloved 777. I loved this quick little trip and only wish the flight was longer. Andy
